Claims (5)
- セルロースを含む布を炉内で加熱して炭化布を製造するための炭化布製造方法であって、
布を炉内に配置する布配置ステップと、
炉内の少なくとも布配置領域を不活性雰囲気とし布が炭化する手前の温度まで昇温する第一昇温ステップと、
第一昇温ステップの後、炉内の少なくとも布配置領域を少なくとも第一昇温ステップにおける不活性雰囲気よりも相対的に還元性雰囲気とし、1200℃〜1400℃まで昇温する第二昇温ステップと、
前記第二昇温ステップにより1200℃〜1400℃に至った炉内温度を所定時間維持する維持ステップと、
前記所定時間経過後、炉内温度を緩やかに降下させる降温ステップと、
降温ステップにより炉内が略100℃以下となった後に炉を開ける開炉ステップと、を含む炭化布製造方法。 - 前記布は、原料を綿とするものである請求項1に記載の炭化布製造方法。
- 前記所定時間は、略1〜2時間である請求項1又は2に記載の炭化布製造方法。
- 前記降温ステップに費やされる時間は、20時間以上である請求項1から3のいずれか一に記載の炭化布製造方法。
- 前記開炉ステップは、炉内温度が急激に低下しないよう炉の開閉を断続的に行う請求項1から4のいずれか一に記載の炭化布製造方法。
