橋絡形の可動接触子に対向して接点ユニットフレームの端子台座にb接点仕様の固定接触子を備えた電磁接触器であり、b接点仕様の固定接触子は、前記端子台座上に保持した平板状の端子部と、該端子部の後端からL字状に起立延在する接点台と、該端子台の先端部に前記可動接触子の接点と対向する固定接点を接合した構成になり、かつ前記接点台の起立基部から先端部との間で、その板面の一方の側縁を凹状に切欠してフレーム外方に通じるガス抜き通路を確保するようにしたものにおいて、
前記固定接触子の端子台先端部に接合した固定接点の形状を、前記ガス抜き通路に向けて先端が先細りになる略三角形に形成したことを特徴とする電磁接触器。
