Description

The present invention relates to a washing / drying machine having a washing function and a drying function for textiles such as clothes.

Conventionally, this type of washing / drying machine has been considered to prevent the drying air supplied into the outer tub during the drying operation from flowing into the space between the outer tub and the rotating drum (for example, , See Patent Document 1).

FIG. 8 is a cross-sectional view of a main part of a conventional washing and drying machine described in Patent Document 1, and FIG. 9 is an enlarged cross-sectional view of the main part. 8 and 9, a rotating drum 53 for putting clothes and washing in an outer tub 52 elastically supported in a housing 51 is rotatably provided. A clothing insertion port 54 provided on the front surface of the rotating drum 53 is configured to be freely opened and closed by a door 55 provided on the front surface of the housing 51.

The inside of the rotary drum 53 is also a drying chamber for drying washed clothes and the like, and the hot air generated by the hot air generator rotates through the hot air inlet 56 provided on the rear end surface of the outer tub 52. Supplied from the introduction port 57 provided on the rear end surface of the drum 53 into the rotary drum 53, the clothes are dried. At this time, if a part of the warm air flows into the space between the rotating drum 53 and the outer tub 52, the amount of air supplied into the rotating drum 53 is reduced and the drying efficiency is lowered. A space between the outer tub 52 and the outer tub 52 is closed with a seal member 58.

During the dehydrating operation in which the rotational speed of the rotary drum 53 is relatively high compared to the washing operation and the drying operation, noise is generated due to the seal member 58 coming into contact with surrounding members, and the seal member 58 is worn. In order to suppress this, the following configuration is adopted.

A cylindrical air guide path 59 is provided on the outer tank 52 side to guide the warm air from the hot air suction port 56 provided on the rear end surface of the outer tank 52 to the introduction port 57 provided on the rear end surface of the rotary drum 53. A concentric cylindrical outer cylinder portion 60 is provided on the rotating drum 53 side, which is opposed to the air guide path 59 on the outer periphery in the radial direction, and is sealed so as to be concentric on the outer side in the radial direction of the outer cylinder portion 60. The member 58 is configured. Further, the seal member 58 is provided with a lip portion 61 at the tip, and the lip portion 61 extends inward from the outer tube portion 60 toward the air guide path 59 and is inclined to the rotating drum 53 side. Yes.

When the rotating drum 53 rotates, centrifugal force in the radially outward direction acts on the lip portion 61 and elastically deforms in a direction away from the air guide path 59. When the rotary drum 53 rotates at a low speed, the tip of the lip portion 61 is close to the outer peripheral surface of the air guide path 59, and when the rotary drum 53 rotates at a high speed, it is elastically deformed so as to be separated from the air guide path 59. .

However, in the conventional configuration, the seal surface with which the lip portion 61 contacts is the cylindrical outer peripheral surface of the air guide path 59 formed in parallel with the axial direction of the rotating drum 53, and the lip portion 61 caused by centrifugal force. In order that the lip portion 61 is reliably separated even if the amount of change in the inclination angle is small, it is necessary to configure the length of the lip portion 61 to be long to a certain extent. A larger area is required in the axial direction of 53, and the axial length of the rotating drum 53 is reduced accordingly, and the volume in the rotating drum 53 is reduced. As a result, the cleaning and drying performance decreases. On the other hand, when the length of the lip portion 61 is shortened, it is necessary to elastically deform the inclination angle of the lip portion 61 in order to ensure separation, and a larger centrifugal force is required.

On the other hand, the distal end portion of the lip portion 61 that extends in the direction of the rotation axis that is radially inward has a relatively small centrifugal force so that the lip portion 61 is surely separated in consideration of vibration during dehydration operation. In order to generate a large centrifugal force, high-speed rotation of a certain level or more is necessary, and until the rotary drum 53 reaches the rotation speed, the entire tip part or a part of the lip part 61 is not separated, This may cause noise and wear of the lip 61.

The present invention solves the above-mentioned conventional problems, and minimizes the reduction in the volume of the rotating drum, and also provides a drying efficiency that suppresses noise generation and seal member wear even during high-speed rotation such as dehydration operation. The purpose is to provide a high washing and drying machine.

In order to solve the above-described conventional problems, a washing and drying machine according to the present invention includes an outer tub, a rotating drum rotatably disposed in the outer tub, a driving unit that rotationally drives the rotating drum, A blowing means for blowing air into the outer tub, a suction port for supplying warm air into the outer tub, an introduction port provided in the rotating drum opposite to the suction port, and an outer peripheral portion of the introduction port. A seal member provided concentrically, and a control means for controlling the drive means. The sealing member, from said rotary drum side have a lip extending obliquely so as to extend to the outer tub side, so folding the tip portion of the lip portion from the outside in the radial direction of the rotary drum inwards The tip of the lip is in contact with or close to the rear surface of the outer tub when the rotating drum rotates at a low speed, and the tip of the lip is separated from the outer tub when the rotating drum rotates at a high speed. Then, it is elastically deformed so as to be non-contact, and when the internal pressure rises during the low-speed rotation of the rotary drum, it is deformed so as to be deformed in a direction in which the folding of the tip end portion is opened by the internal pressure.

As a result, the V-shape is further deformed in the direction of further opening due to the internal pressure because the tip of the lip portion opens toward the inside of the rotating drum where the internal pressure becomes relatively high during the drying operation. Since it comes in contact with or close to the outer tub which is the sealing surface, the sealing performance is further improved.

The washing / drying machine of the present invention improves drying efficiency by preventing a part of the warm air during the drying operation from flowing into the gap between the rotating drum and the outer tub without reducing the internal volume of the rotating drum. In addition, it is possible to suppress generation of noise and wear of the seal member during dehydration operation in which the rotating drum rotates at a high speed.

A washing and drying machine according to a first aspect of the present invention includes an outer tub, a rotating drum rotatably disposed in the outer tub, a driving unit that rotationally drives the rotating drum, and an air blowing unit that blows air into the outer tub. A suction port for supplying warm air into the outer tub, an introduction port provided in the rotating drum so as to face the suction port, and a seal member provided substantially concentrically on the outer periphery of the introduction port And a control means for controlling the drive means, wherein the seal member has a lip portion extending in an inclined manner so as to expand from the rotating drum side to the outer tub side, and a tip portion of the lip portion is provided. The rotating drum is formed so as to be folded back from the outside in the radial direction toward the inside, and the tip of the lip portion is in contact with or close to the rear surface of the outer tub when the rotating drum rotates at a low speed. The above-mentioned lip during high-speed rotation When the internal pressure rises when the rotary drum rotates at a low speed, the tip of the tip is deformed in a direction to open the folding of the tip. It is formed.

As a result, since the tip of the lip portion is opened toward the inside of the rotating drum where the internal pressure becomes relatively high during the drying operation, the V shape is further deformed by the internal pressure. Since it comes in contact with or close to the outer tub which is the sealing surface, the sealing performance is further improved.

In a second aspect of the invention, in particular, in the first aspect of the invention, the sealing member is formed such that the tip portion of the lip portion is thicker than the other portions of the lip portion.

As a result, since the centrifugal force is generated by increasing the weight of the tip portion, the tip of the lip portion can be reliably separated during high-speed rotation. Moreover, durability by friction can be improved by thickening the lip | tip part tip which contacts an outer tank for a seal | sticker at low speed rotation.

According to a third aspect of the invention, in particular, in the first or second aspect of the invention , the seal member is divided by providing a plurality of cuts in the lip portion from the rotation shaft of the rotary drum toward the radially outer side. It is configured.

The lip portion generates tension not only in the radial direction but also in the circumferential direction, and in order to be elastically deformed, a centrifugal force greater than those tensions is required. Therefore, by providing a plurality of cuts and dividing, the circumferential extension does not occur at the time of elastic deformation, and the elastic deformation can be ensured even with a smaller centrifugal force.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. Note that the present invention is not limited to the embodiments.

The seal member 22 extends from the drum rotation shaft 4a of the rotary drum 4 so as to increase in diameter radially outward, and is inclined so as to expand from the rotary drum 4 side to the outer tub 1 side positioned behind the introduction port 15. The lip portion 22a extends and seals the drying air (arrow c in FIG. 4) flowing out into the space between the rotating drum 4 and the outer tub 1 by the lip portion 22a.

The lip portion 22a is elastically deformed so as to be separated from the outer tub 1 side to the rotating drum 4 side by the centrifugal force generated when the rotating drum 4 rotates, but at the time of washing and drying operations in which the rotating drum 4 rotates at a low speed. In the dehydrating operation where the elastic deformation amount is small and in contact with the outer tub 1 and rotates at a high speed, the centrifugal force acting on the lip portion 22a increases and the elastic lip portion 22a is more elastically deformed. It is comprised so that it may leave | separate from and it may become non-contact. The length of the lip portion 22a is determined in consideration of the magnitude of the centrifugal force during high-speed rotation because the distance at the tip of the lip portion 22a is increased even if the longer one has an equivalent centrifugal force. .

The lint filter 19 captures lint contained in the circulating air generated from the garment 5 to prevent problems due to lint deposits on the heat absorber 20, the radiator 21, and the blower 16, and is detached from the clothes dryer main body. It is provided as possible.

The blower 16 includes a fan motor 16a that drives the blower 16, and a motor current measuring device 16b that measures the current value of the fan motor 16a.

The heat absorber 20 and the heat radiator 21 are heat exchangers including a pipe 23 through which the refrigerant flows and fins that promote heat exchange. The compressor 24 compresses the refrigerant, the throttle means 25 depressurizes the high-pressure refrigerant, The heat pump 26 is configured in combination with a strainer or the like for separating foreign matter, and further, temperature detection means for detecting the temperature of the refrigerant in the pipe immediately after the compressor 24 in order to detect the refrigerant temperature in the compressor 24. 23a is disposed.

In order to make the heat pump 26 as small as possible, the heat radiator 21 and the heat absorber 20 are arranged in parallel, and the compressor 24, the expansion means 25, and the strainer are disposed on either side of the heat exchanger fins.

Further, a drain outlet 27 for draining dehumidified water generated when the heat absorber 20 absorbs heat and dehumidifies is also configured, and the dehumidified water is guided to the drain groove below the heat absorber 20 and the radiator 21. Inclinations and ribs are provided.

The hot and humid air from the rotating drum 4 is dehumidified and absorbed by the heat absorber 20 and then heated by the heat radiator 21 to be supplied into the rotating drum 4 as high temperature dry air to dry the clothes 5. At this time, the thermal energy released from the radiator 21 to the circulating air is approximately equal to the sum of the power consumption of the compressor 24 and the amount of heat absorbed from the heat absorber 20. Therefore, an output more than the power input to the compressor 24 is obtained from the radiator 21, and the garment 5 can be dried with less power consumption.

However, if the circulating air is continuously circulated by the air circulation path 14, the amount of heat of the circulating air gradually increases by the amount input to the compressor 24, and the amount of heat of the refrigerant in the heat pump 26 increases accordingly. Since the pressure also increases, the compressor 24 is finally overloaded.

For this reason, the heat pump 26 cannot operate stably, and the output of the compressor 24 must be reduced, resulting in a reduction in drying efficiency. Therefore, on the secondary side of the outlet 18 of the rotary drum 4, there are provided an exhaust port 28 for discharging a part of the circulating air and an intake port 29 for supplementing the discharged circulating air and sucking the outside air.

The control unit 11 controls the motor 10, the blower 16, the compressor 24, and the like, and controls the washing operation and the drying operation, and the detected value from the temperature detecting unit 23a, the current value measured by the motor current measuring device 16b, and the like. Is entered. The control means 11 includes air volume detection means (not shown) for detecting the air volume of the drying air from the current value measured by the motor current measuring device 16b. In addition, the arrow a in the figure indicates the flow direction of the circulating air, and the arrow B indicates the flow direction of the refrigerant.

The operation and action of the washing / drying machine configured as described above will be described below. In the present laundry dryer, in the standard operation mode, the washing process, the dehydration process, and the drying process are executed in this order. First, in the washing process, a predetermined amount of detergent and water corresponding to the amount of laundry are supplied into the outer tub 1 by a water supply device (not shown), and then the rotating drum 4 is slowed down in the forward and reverse directions by the motor 10. Rotate to wash the garment 5. At this time, since the centrifugal force acting on the lip portion 22a is small, it is elastically deformed but remains in contact with the outer tub 1.

In the subsequent dewatering step, the water in the outer tub 1 is drained and then the rotating drum 4 is rotated at a high speed, whereby the water remaining in the clothing 5 is centrifugally dehydrated. At this time, the centrifugal force acting on the lip portion 22a is increased and greatly elastically deformed, and the distal end portion 22b of the lip portion 22a is separated from the outer tub 1 and is not in contact.

In the final drying step, the rotating drum 4 holds the wet clothes 5 inside and rotates at a low speed in the forward and reverse directions. The drying air heated by the radiator 21 is blown by the blower 16 and arrives in the rotary drum 4 from the suction port 17 via the introduction port 15 of the rotary drum 4. The drying air arriving at the rotating drum 4 comes into contact with the wet clothing 5 and removes moisture from the clothing 5, and then leaves the rotating drum 4 and is provided in the outer tub 1 while containing lint generated from the clothing 5. The outer tank 1 is discharged from the outlet 18.

The drying air that has exited the outer tub 1 flows into the air circulation path 14, and after the lint is removed by the lint filter 19, the air is cooled and dehumidified by the heat absorber 20, reaches the heat radiator 21 again, and is heated to a high temperature and low humidity air It becomes. At this time, since the centrifugal force acting on the lip portion 22a is small, it is elastically deformed but remains in contact with the outer tub 1.

With the above configuration, although a gap is formed between the outer tub 1 and the rotating drum 4, it is sealed by the lip portion 22a, so that the drying air flowing from the suction port 17 can be introduced without waste. 15 is supplied into the rotary drum 4 so that the clothes 5 can be efficiently dried.

Further, when the rotating drum 4 is rotated at a high speed during the dehydration process, the lip portion 22a is separated from the outer tub 1 by the centrifugal force and is not in contact with each other.

Furthermore, the sealing surface of the sealing member 22 between the rotating drum 4 and the outer tub 1 has a tip portion 22b formed in a direction substantially perpendicular to the drum rotating shaft 4a of the rotating drum 4, and the lip portion 22a is a drum rotating shaft. Since it is formed so as to extend radially outward from 4a and incline from the rotating drum 4 side to the outer tub 1 side, the lip portion 22a so that the tip 22b of the lip portion 22a can be easily separated from the outer tub 1 Even when the length of the seal member 22 is increased to a certain extent, the shape of the seal member 22 can be configured to shorten the axial distance of the rotary drum 4. Therefore, the sealing member 22 can be configured compactly between the rotating drum 4 and the outer tub 1 without reducing the internal volume of the rotating drum 4.

Further, since the tip 22b of the lip 22a that contacts the outer tub 1 is configured in the outer direction of the rotating drum 4 where the centrifugal force works more greatly, the rotating drum 4 is easily elastically deformed even at a relatively low speed, The tip 22b of the lip 22a is surely separated.

As described above, in the present embodiment, the rotating drum 4 rotatably disposed in the outer tub 1, the driving means 10 that rotationally drives the rotating drum 4, and the blower 16 that blows air into the outer tub 1. A suction port 17 for supplying warm air into the outer tub 1, an introduction port 15 provided in the rotary drum 4 so as to face the suction port 17, and a substantially concentric circle on the outer periphery of the introduction port 15. A seal member 22 and a control means 11 for controlling the drive means 10 are provided. The seal member 22 has a lip portion 22a that extends so as to expand from the rotating drum 4 side to the outer tub 1 side, and a tip portion 22b of the lip portion 22a is formed to extend radially outward from the drum rotating shaft 4a. When the rotating drum 4 rotates at a low speed, the tip 22b of the lip 22a contacts or approaches the outer tub 1, and when the rotating drum 4 rotates at a high speed, the tip 22b of the lip 22a is separated from the outer tub 1. It is designed to be elastically deformed so as to be non-contact. Thereby, the sealing surface by the sealing member 22 between the rotating drum 4 and the outer tub 1 can be set in a direction substantially perpendicular to the rotating shaft 4a of the rotating drum 4, and the lip portion so that the lip portion 22a is easily separated. Even when the length of 22a is increased to a certain extent, the distance of the rotating drum 4 in the direction of the rotating shaft 4a can be reduced, and the rotating drum 4 can be formed without enlarging the space between the rotating drum 4 and the outer tub 1. The sealing member 22 can be configured after securing the internal volume. Further, since the tip 22b of the lip 22a that contacts the outer tub 1 is formed on the outer side of the rotating drum 4 where the centrifugal force acts more greatly, it is easily elastically deformed even at a relatively low speed, and the lip is reliably 22a can be separated.

In the present embodiment, the lip portion 22a is in contact with the outer tub 1 during low-speed rotation in the washing and drying process. However, the present invention is not limited to this. The configuration may be close to the outer tub 1. In this case, since the sealing performance is reduced, the improvement in drying efficiency is limited, but noise and wear due to the contact of the lip portion 22a are suppressed even during low-speed rotation.

Further, in the case of the configuration in which the amount of the garment 5 is estimated from the load of the driving means 10, there is a possibility that the motor load may increase depending on the material of the seal member 22 and the contact area of the lip portion 22 a even during low-speed rotation. In particular, there is a possibility that the detection error cannot be ignored when the amount of the garment 5 is small, but no detection error is caused by non-contact.

In the present embodiment, the drying air is dehumidified and heated by the heat pump 26, but may be configured to be dehumidified by general air cooling or water cooling and heated by a heater.

(Embodiment 2)
FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional view of a main part of the washing / drying machine according to the second embodiment of the present invention. The feature of the present embodiment is that the tip 22c of the lip 22a is formed so as to be folded back from the outer side in the radial direction of the rotary drum 4 to the inner side. Other configurations are the same as those of the first embodiment, the same reference numerals are given to the same configurations, and the detailed description of the first embodiment is used.

In FIG. 5, the tip 22 c of the lip 22 a is formed so as to be folded back from the outside in the radial direction of the rotating drum 4, and the tip 22 c of the lip 22 a is opened toward the inside of the rotating drum 4. It is configured to be V-shaped.

With the above configuration, even when the internal pressure is increased during the drying operation, the substantially V-shaped tip 22c is further deformed by the increase in the internal pressure, so that the sealing performance is further improved. It is possible to prevent the drying air from flowing out from the outer tub 1.

In the present embodiment, as in the first embodiment, the lip portion 22a is in contact with the outer tub 1 during low-speed rotation in the washing and drying process. However, the present invention is not limited to this and is not contacted. However, it is good also as a structure close | similar to the outer tank 1 compared with the time of a spin-drying | dehydration process.

(Embodiment 3)
FIG. 6 is a cross-sectional view of a main part of the washing / drying machine according to the third embodiment of the present invention. The feature of the present embodiment is that the tip 22d of the lip 22a is formed thicker than the other parts of the lip 22a. Other configurations are the same as those of the first embodiment, the same reference numerals are given to the same configurations, and the detailed description of the first embodiment is used.

By forming the tip portion 22d forming the sealing surface of the lip portion 22a thicker than the other portions of the lip portion 22a, the weight of the tip portion 22d of the lip portion 22a is increased, and at the time of high-speed rotation in the dehydration process Since a large centrifugal force is generated at the tip portion 22d, the tip portion 22d of the lip portion 22a can be reliably separated. Moreover, the durability by friction can be improved by thickening the front-end | tip part 22d which contacts the outer tank 1 for a seal | sticker at low speed rotation.

In the present embodiment, as in the first embodiment, the lip portion 22a is in contact with the outer tub 1 during low-speed rotation in the washing and drying process. However, the present invention is not limited to this and is not contacted. However, it is good also as a structure which adjoins to the outer tank 1 compared with the time of a spin-drying | dehydration process.

(Embodiment 4)
FIG. 7: is the top view which looked at the sealing member 22 of the washing / drying machine in the 4th Embodiment of this invention from the lip | rip part 22a side. A feature of the present embodiment is that the lip portion 22a is divided by providing a plurality of cuts 22e from the drum rotation shaft 4a to the radially outer side. Other configurations are the same as those of the first embodiment, the same reference numerals are given to the same configurations, and the detailed description of the first embodiment is used.

In FIG. 7, the lip portion 22a of the seal member 22 is provided with a plurality of cuts 22e radially outward from the center drum rotation shaft 4a so that the lip portion 22a is radially divided in the circumferential direction. Formed into a plurality of strips. In this embodiment, it is divided equally into 24 pieces.

The lip portion 22a generates tension not only in the radial direction but also in the circumferential direction, and in order to be elastically deformed, a centrifugal force higher than those tensions is required. Therefore, the lip portion 22a is divided by providing a plurality of cuts 22e. As a result, circumferential elongation does not occur during elastic deformation, and elastic deformation can be reliably performed even with a smaller centrifugal force.

As described above, the washing / drying machine according to the present invention prevents a part of the warm air during the drying operation from flowing into the gap between the rotating drum and the outer tub without reducing the volume of the rotating drum. Thus, the drying efficiency is improved, and the generation of noise and the wear of the seal member during the dehydration operation in which the rotating drum rotates at high speed can be suppressed.
