Description

Claims (10)
- 喫煙品の作製で使用する燃料要素の含水率を変更する方法であって、
出発含水率を有する複数の燃料要素を準備するステップ、
次に、未加熱の周囲空気を燃料要素上に流して含水率を出発含水率以下に低下させるステップ、
次に、燃料要素をより小型のユニットに切断するステップ、
次に、燃料要素を、基材含水率を有する基材を含む喫煙品構成要素に組付けるステップ、および
次に、未加熱の(16℃〜35℃の)周囲空気を、喫煙品構成要素中に組付けられた燃料要素上に流した後、含水率を、基材含水率と平衡である所定の目標含水率までさらに低下させるステップ
を含み、
未加熱の周囲空気を燃料要素上に流すステップが、第一端部から第二端部へ、及び第二端部から第一端部への、双方向性空気流を含む、方法。 - 出発含水率が27%から35%である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 出発含水率が29%±1.5%である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 燃料要素が切断されるより小型のユニットが2アップユニットを備える、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 燃料要素が中に組付けられる喫煙品構成要素が2アップ喫煙品を備える、請求項1に記載の方法。
