Description
[放送システムの構成例]
図1は、本実施の形態である放送システム1を示している。この放送システム1は、放送装置11、受信装置12、ACRサーバ13、コマンドサーバ14、及びアプリサーバ15から構成される。また、受信装置12、ACRサーバ13、コマンドサーバ14、及びアプリサーバ15は、インターネット16を介して、相互に接続されている。
図2は、図1の受信装置12の構成例を示している。
図3は、受信装置12と各サーバの連携処理の一例として、データ放送用アプリ起動処理を説明するシーケンス図である。
図5は、コマンドに含まれる情報の項目の一例を示している。
図8は、コマンドの記述例を示す図である。
図9は、レジスタ、エクスキュート、インジェクトイベント、サスペンド、及びターミネートの各コマンドに応じて受信装置12にて動作するデータ放送用アプリの状態遷移図である。同図に示すように、データ放送用アプリの状態は、解放状態(Released)、準備状態(Ready)、実行中状態(Active)、又は休止状態(Suspended)の4種類のうちのいずれかに遷移していると定義される。
次に、受信装置12がコマンドを受信したときのコマンド対応処理について、図11を参照して説明する。
受信装置12において、前述したコマンド対応処理を行うことで、例えば、図13及び図14に示すようなデータ放送用アプリの運用が可能となる。
以上においては、データ放送用アプリがエクスキュートコマンドに応じて起動される場合のみを説明したが、エクスキュートコマンドを用いることなくデータ放送用アプリを起動させることが可能である。
また、本技術によれば、AVコンテンツに対応したメタデータがなくても、ACRサーバ13によりAVコンテンツの識別が行われるため、例えば、以下のような運用が可能となる。
[通信システムの構成例]
前述した説明では、受信装置12が、放送装置11から送信(放送)されたAVコンテンツのデジタルテレビジョン放送信号を受信する例を説明したが、AVコンテンツは、インターネット16を介して配信されるようにしてもよい。
前述した一連の処理は、ハードウェアにより行うこともできるし、ソフトウェアにより行うこともできる。一連の処理をソフトウェアによって行う場合には、そのソフトウェアを構成するプログラムが、汎用のコンピュータ等にインストールされる。

取得した前記識別結果に応じて、前記AVコンテンツに連動して実行されるアプリケーションプログラムの動作を制御するためのコマンドを取得するコマンド取得部と、

して、コンピュータを機能させるためのプログラム。 - 受信装置、第1の情報処理装置、第2の情報処理装置、及び第3の情報処理装置から構成される情報処理システムにおいて、
前記受信装置は、
AVコンテンツを受信する受信部と、
受信した前記AVコンテンツのデータから特徴量を抽出する特徴量抽出部と、
抽出した前記特徴量を前記第1の情報処理装置に送信して、前記第1の情報処理装置にて前記特徴量からACR技術を用いて識別された前記AVコンテンツの識別結果を取得する識別結果取得部と、
前記第1の情報処理装置から取得した前記識別結果を前記第2の情報処理装置に送信して、前記第2の情報処理装置から、前記識別結果に応じた、前記AVコンテンツに連動して実行されるアプリケーションプログラムの動作を制御するためのコマンドを取得するコマンド取得部と、
前記第2の情報処理装置から取得した前記コマンドに応じて、前記第3の情報処理装置から取得した前記アプリケーションプログラムの動作を制御する制御部と
を備え、
前記第1の情報処理装置は、
前記受信装置からの問い合わせに応じて、ACR技術を用いて前記特徴量から前記AVコンテンツを識別するコンテンツ識別部を備え、
前記第2の情報処理装置は、
前記受信装置からの問い合わせに応じて、前記識別結果に応じた前記コマンドを提供するコマンド提供部を備え、
前記第3の情報処理装置は、
前記受信装置からの問い合わせに応じて、前記コマンドに応じた前記アプリケーションプログラムを提供するアプリケーション提供部を備える
