Description

The present invention is a seat pad constituting the seat for a vehicle, a method of manufacturing a duct containing a seat pad with integrated Da transfected with insert molding.

There are seat pads that constitute a seat portion and a backrest of a seat that is mounted on a vehicle such as an automobile. An occupant sits on the seat pad and often feels sweat when the spot is hot in the summer and cold when sitting in the cold winter. As one of the improvement measures, for example, a duct-containing seat pad in which a seat pad is integrally foamed by inserting a temperature adjusting duct has been proposed (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 3-297414, etc.). However, when the foam pad is used and the seat pad is integrally foam-molded by embedding the duct, the foam raw material enters the duct by simply closing the duct vent against the mold surface. Since the foaming pressure at the time of foam molding is also increased, if the vent hole is not sufficiently blocked, a foaming raw material enters the pipe from the vent hole at the time of foam molding. Even if the foam raw material that has entered the pipe is removed by post-processing, it is after molding of the commercialized seat pad, and it is difficult to perform post-processing while ensuring product quality.
Therefore, the present applicant has previously proposed an invention in which measures are taken so that foaming raw materials do not enter the duct from the vent when the duct is inserted and the seat pad is integrally foamed (Patent Document 1).

However, in the invention of Patent Document 1, by closing the mold, a foam-type protrusion enters the air intake port or the air jet port, closes the air intake port or the air jet port, and the foaming raw material is ducted during the subsequent foam molding. Since it is an invention that prevents it from entering, the measures before closing the mold were not sufficient.
In the case of manufacturing a seat pad that is integrally foam-molded by inserting a duct, when the duct 2 is set on the lower mold 7a as shown in FIG. 9, for example, the air inlet 26e is in an upward state. Thereafter, when the foaming raw material m is injected in the injection step of FIG. 11, the foaming raw material m may enter the duct 2 from the air inlet 26e. Even if the injection hose h in the figure is moved away from the air intake port 26e as shown by the arrow, there is a problem that the injection hose h sometimes enters the duct from the port. Furthermore, if foaming raw material is applied to the flange joint surface, it interferes with joining with the mating member, so this has to be removed. In addition, after the production of the duct-equipped seat pad, there is a concern that dust, dust, etc. may enter the large air inlet from the air outlet.

The present invention solves the above-described problem. When a seat pad is integrally foam-molded by inserting a duct, the foam material is fed from the air inlet into the duct not only in the foam molding process but also in the foam material injection process. It is an object of the present invention to provide a method of manufacturing a ducted seat pad that cannot be penetrated and further improves quality and productivity.

In order to achieve the above object, the gist of the invention described in claim 1 is that a duct for air distribution (2) having an air inlet (26e) and an air outlet (25a) in a duct path is provided as a lower mold (7a). set in, then foaming material through injection (m) and the mold closed, the seat pad (1) of the duct (2) is buried in the manufacturing method of the duct containing the seat pad for foam molding, the distribution around the air inlet of the wind duct (2) (26e), the flange (27) is provided for connecting the mating member, thereby setting the air distribution duct (2) to the lower mold (7a) The air intake port (26e) facing upwards is closed with a sealing tape (4) that is slightly larger than the rear view of the flange , and the entire outer surface (27a) of the flange (27). Covering, then injecting foaming material (m) and closing the mold, then filling the duct main part (21) with the seat pad (1), the duct with the sealing tape (4) ( 2) The seat pad (1) in which the insert is formed is integrally foamed and the seal tape (4) is peeled off from the air inlet (26e) and the flange (27) before being assembled to the vehicle. It is in the manufacturing method of a seat pad. The method of manufacturing a seat pad with a duct according to a second aspect of the present invention is the method according to the first aspect, wherein a pinhole (45) or a perforation (46) is provided at a portion where the seal tape (4) blocks the air inlet (26e). Is provided.

The manufacturing method of the seat pad with duct of the present invention is not only in the foam molding process but also in the injection process of the foaming raw material, and the countermeasure for preventing the foaming raw material from entering the duct is perfect, and the sealing tape for curing is easy to peel off. It exhibits excellent effects in quality improvement and workability improvement.

Ducted seat pads with seal tape are used for seats of vehicle seats and seat cushions for backrests. Here, it applies to the seat pad with a duct with the sealing tape for the seat part for vehicle seats. After the seal tape 4 is peeled off, if the skin is put on, a vehicle seat is formed by the backrest having the skin covered on a known back pad and the known headrest.

The duct-equipped seat pad with the seal tape includes the seat pad 1, the duct 2, and the seal tape 4 (FIGS. 1 to 5).
The seat pad 1 is a foam formed by injecting a urethane foam stock solution or the like into the foaming mold 7 and constitutes a main part of the vehicle seat. A plurality of air outlets 10 are provided on the surface 1a on the passenger contact side. Provided (FIG. 1). The “surface” and “surface side” of the present invention refer to a surface that comes into contact when the occupant sits on a seat, and the side of the surface. When the vehicle is assembled, the seal tape 4 is attached to the air inlet 26e of the duct 2 exposed to the back side 1b of the seat pad, and this is inserted into the seat pad 1 that is integrally foam-molded. Specifically, in the vehicle assembly stage, the air intake port 26e of the duct 2 exposed on the back surface 1b of the seat pad is closed with a curing seal tape 4, and the duct 2 with the seal tape 4 is embedded and integrally foam-molded. 1 and a cylindrical portion 26 on the back surface 27 b side of the flange 27 related to the duct 2 is embedded in the seat pad 1. 1, 3 (b), and 5 are the front side of the seat pad 1 on the front side of the vehicle, and FIG. 2 is the seat pad 1 with the front surface 1 a side and the back surface 1 b side upside down. It becomes the vehicle front side.
The seat pad 1 is provided with side portions 13 on both sides of the main portion 12 constituting the main portion 11, and suspension grooves 14 are provided on both boundaries on the seat pad surface 1 a side. Reference numeral 14a indicates a vertical groove, and reference numeral 14b indicates a horizontal groove. On the back surface 1b side of the seat pad, the air inlet 26e and the flange 27 of the duct 2 covered with the seal tape 4 allow the face to be seen through the seal tape 4 as shown in FIG.

The duct 2 is a resin tubular member made of polypropylene resin or the like. The duct 2 is provided with an air intake port 26e for air distribution, and an air outlet 25a is provided in the duct path.
A duct main portion 21 is disposed in the seat pad 1, an air outlet 25a communicates with the air outlet 10, and an air inlet 26e is provided on the seat pad back surface 1b side (FIG. 2). This embodiment is a blow-molded duct 2 having a substantially H-shaped air distribution channel 29 in plan view as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, and a pair of vertical cylinder portions from both ends of a horizontal cylinder portion 23 arranged in the vehicle width direction. 24 extends in the vehicle longitudinal direction.
A plurality of air jets 25 a are opened on the surface side of the duct 2. The duct 2 here is provided with a plurality of short nozzle portions 25 on the surface side with respect to the horizontal tube portion 23 and the vertical tube portion 24, and the front end openings of the nozzle portions 25 are connected to the air outlets 25 a. To do.

On the other hand, a flange 27 is provided on the cylindrical portion 26 around the air inlet 26e on the back side of the duct 2 (FIG. 4). At the time when the seat pad 1 with the duct 2 is completed by foam molding of the seat pad 1, in Patent Document 1 or the like, the air inlet 26 e that is the front end of the cylindrical portion 26 is exposed at the approximate center of the back surface 1 b of the seat pad. However, in the present invention, the air inlet 26e is closed by the seal tape 4 (FIGS. 2 and 3). Specifically, the introduction portion 22 projects at the approximate center of the horizontal tube portion 23 related to the duct 2. The introduction portion 22 is bent toward the back side at the tip, and becomes a cylindrical portion 26 that is extended as it is to form an air intake port 26e. In the duct 2, the horizontal cylinder part 23, the vertical cylinder part 24, and the introduction part 22, which are the duct main parts 21, are substantially on the same plane, but with respect to the introduction part 22, the cylindrical part 26 stands up toward the back side. . A flange 27 is formed in the cylindrical portion 26 around the air intake port 26e, and the seal tape 4 is attached to the flange 27 so as to close the air intake port 26e.

The flange 27 is a connecting portion for connecting to the mating member, and the rear view is substantially semicircular as shown in FIG. The flange 27 includes a flange main portion 271 that is flat as a whole, and a return portion 273 that warps at the outer peripheral edge and extends toward the flange back surface 27b as shown in FIGS. Although the flange main portion 271 is generally flat, a recess 272 that is recessed from the flange outer surface 27a side toward the back surface 27b side is partially formed. In the present embodiment, a plurality of (here, two) crescent-shaped recesses 272 recessed in a semicircular cross section are provided so as to surround the air intake port 26e. The flat outer flange surface 27 a is a surface that is substantially orthogonal to the cylindrical center axis of the cylindrical portion 26. Reference numeral 275 denotes a bolt mounting hole with a mating member.

The cylindrical portion 26 having the air intake port 26e is flange-connected to a connection pipe (not shown) using a flange 27, and the connection pipe is connected to a blower unit (not shown). The diameter of the air inlet 26e is slightly larger than the diameter of the air jet 25a. Air-conditioned air introduced from the blower unit to the one air intake port 26e is distributed so as to be smoothly blown out from each of the plurality of air outlets 25a.
The main part of the main body of the duct 2 is not circular in cross section, but has a flattened oval shape, but the cylindrical part 26 of the air inlet 26e and the nozzle part 25 of the air outlet 25a are circular in cross section ( (FIGS. 4 and 5). In the figure, reference numeral 241 denotes a bellows part provided in the vertical cylinder part 24, and reference numeral 242 denotes an attachment piece.

The seal tape 4 is a sealing tape that closes the air intake port 26e and is attached to the flange 27. A general-purpose tape having a size capable of closing the air inlet 26e with an adhesive tape provided with an adhesive on one surface of the resin tape is used. However, the resin of the resin tape is more excellent in the urethane material and non-adhesive material resin of the seat pad 1 because the seal pad 4 is inserted and the seat pad 1 is foam-molded.

The seal tape 4 is adhered to the flange 27 so as to close the air intake port 26e, but it is more preferable to cover the entire outer surface 27a of the flange 27 to form a duct-equipped seat pad with a seal tape. This is because it is possible to prevent the foam material m from adhering to the outer surface 27a of the flange 27 in the foam molding process of the seat pad 1. The seal tape 4 of the present embodiment has a substantially semicircular shape as shown in FIG. 3 that is slightly larger than the rear surface view of the flange 27, and covers the entire outer surface 27 a of the flange 27 with the seal tape 4.

The flange 27 is provided with the recess 272, and the seal tape 4 floats in the recess 272 so as to cover the entire outer surface 27 a of the flange 27. By forming the recess 272, the seal tape 4 is not attached in this region, the substantial sticking area of the seal tape 4 to the flange 27 is reduced, and the seal tape 4 is easily peeled off.
The stage where the foam molding is completed is a seat pad with a duct with a seal tape, but the seal tape 4 is peeled off from the duct 2 at the stage where it is assembled to the final vehicle. When the recess 272 is provided and the seal tape 4 is floated in the recess 272, the seal tape 4 can be easily peeled off. 3 (c) and 6 (c), the seal tape 4 is slightly separated from the end 261 of the cylindrical portion and the main flange portion 271 for easy understanding, but the actual seal tape 4 is at least cylindrical. It adheres to the flange main portion 271 near the tip 261 and the return portion 273.

Further, since the seal tape 4 is made slightly larger than the flange 27, there is a case where the peripheral edge 43 of the seal tape 4 enters the seat pad 1 by foam molding of the seat pad 1 (b in FIG. 3). Even if the tab 42 for picking up the knob shown in FIG. 6 is provided on the seal tape 4, it is difficult for the ear 42 to sink into the seat pad 1 and peel off the seal tape 4. The back surface of the seat pad 1 is usually provided with a backing material 3 made of non-woven fabric or the like (FIG. 3), and the backing material 3 cut out only by the portion 30 of the flange 27 is inserted and integrated with the seat pad 1. Is done. When the ear part 42 enters under the backing material 3, it is difficult to peel off the seal tape 4. In such a case, the seal tape 4 at the site of the recess 272 can be manually pressed toward the bottom of the recess 272 to peel off the seal tape 4. More preferably, as shown in FIGS. 6 (a) and 6 (b), a seal tape 4 in which a pinhole 45 is provided or (and) a perforation 46 is provided in an arc shape is employed at a portion that closes the air intake port 26e.
In FIG. 6 (a), the perforation 46 is connected and cut by pressing the finger F with the center portion of the seal tape 4 that closes the air intake port 26e facing the air intake port 26e. By pressing, the tape portion 47 entering the air intake port 26e can be gripped, and the seal tape 4 attached to the flange 27 can be easily peeled off. FIG. 6C shows a state in which the finger F is pushed as shown by the arrow and then the fingertip is bent to lift the seal tape 4. Further, in place of the perforation 46, the seal tape 4 can be easily peeled off by using a pinhole 45 shown in FIG. Although the pinhole is illustrated in a large size for easy understanding, the foaming material does not enter the air intake port 26e from the pinhole 45 or the perforation 46 during foam molding.

FIG. 7A shows a countermeasure product that can smoothly peel off the seal tape 4. Unlike the duct 2 of FIGS. 1 to 6, the duct 2 is a different type of duct 2 in which the shape of the flange 27 is changed. The recess 272 is opened at the outer peripheral edge 271a of the flange 27, and the opening 272k is narrowed from the recess 272 on the side of the air intake port 26e into a constricted portion, so that the recess 272 is formed into a cove shape. Here, the recess 272 is provided with a groove-like open portion 272k that reaches a flange outer peripheral edge 271a from a part of the outer surface 27a of the flange 27a without being recessed. Then, as shown in FIG. 7B, the seal tape 4 is adhered to the flange 27 so as to cover the open portion 272k. After inserting the finger into the opening 272k as shown by the arrow in FIG. 7 (b), if the finger is lifted from below the seal tape 4, the seal tape can be removed without difficulty.
FIG. 8 (a) shows another embodiment of the duct 2 in which the shape of the flange 27 is changed so that the seal tape 4 can be peeled off smoothly. A bay part 274 is formed from the outer peripheral edge 271 a of the flange 27 toward the air intake port 26 e, and the bay part 274 is covered with the seal tape 4. Even when the substantially semicircular sealing tape 4 shown in FIG. 4 covers the entire outer surface 27a of the flange 27 and the seat pad 1 is foam-molded, as shown by the arrow shown in FIG. After the finger F is inserted under the seal tape 4 disposed on the plate, the fingertip is bent and the seal tape 4 is lifted to facilitate peeling.

(2) Manufacturing method of seat pad with duct
The manufacturing method of the seat pad with the duct is shown in FIG. 1 after setting the duct 2 to the foaming mold 7 using the foaming mold 7, the duct 2 and the backing material 3, and then injecting the foaming raw material m and closing the mold. 1 to 3 are foam-molded with a duct-equipped sheet pad with a seal tape as shown in FIG.
The foaming mold 7 used in this manufacturing method includes an upper mold 7b and a lower mold 7a as shown in FIG. Reference numeral 7c denotes a hinge. When the mold is closed as shown in FIG. 12 using the hinge 7c as a fulcrum, the mold surface 71 of the lower mold 7a having a large degree of dents as a whole and the mold surface 76 of the substantially flat upper mold 7b having a part of the depression, Cavity 70 of ducted seat pad with sealing tape is made. 9 to 12, the seat pad surface 1a side is molded by the mold surface 71 of the lower mold 7a, and the seat pad back surface 1b side is molded by the mold surface 76 of the upper mold 7b. The foaming mold 7 in FIGS. 9 to 12 is a cross-sectional view of the mold cut in the vehicle front-rear direction through the central axis of the duct 2 set in the view taken along the line II-II in FIG.

In the lower mold 7a, the mold surface for the upper half part of the main part 12 is centered, and the mold surface for the upper half part of the side part 13 is formed on both sides thereof. The lower mold 7a is provided with a plurality of raised portions 72 for forming each air outlet 10 by raising each part of the mold surface for the main portion 12 in a columnar shape. Each raised portion 72 has a function of sealing the air jet 25a by flattening the upper end surface 72a thereof (FIG. 12) and applying the tip surface of the nozzle portion 25 to the upper end surface when the mold is closed.

The manufacturing method of the seat pad with a duct is performed as follows, for example.
First, the air distribution duct 2 is set on the lower mold 7a, and the air intake port 26e with the mouth facing upward is closed with the seal tape 4 before and after the set to form the air intake port 26e. The seal tape 4 is adhered to a flange 27 protruding from around the shape portion 26. In the present embodiment, the air distribution duct 2 having the air intake port 26e and the air outlet 25a in the duct path is set in the lower mold 7a. The air intake port 26e is closed with the seal tape 4 in advance and the flange 27 is closed. A duct 2 with a seal tape 4 attached to is prepared. Then, the foaming mold 7 is brought into the mold open state of FIG. 9, and the duct 2 with the seal tape 4 is set in the lower mold 7a of the mold open state. Each nozzle portion 25 is directed downward, the tip end surface of the nozzle portion 25 is brought into contact with the upper end surface of the raised portion 72, the mouth of the air outlet 25a is closed, and the duct 2 with the seal tape 4 is set in the lower mold 7a. To do. After the duct 2 is set on the lower mold 7a, the air intake port 26e may be closed with the seal tape 4, but there is a possibility that the set is shifted, and it is more preferable to use the duct 2 with the seal tape 4 in advance. In such a set of the duct 2 to the foaming mold 7, the duct 2 is provided with a duct main portion 21 formed on substantially the same plane horizontally, and a cylindrical portion 26 projects upward from the duct main portion 21. To do.
At the same time as the setting of the duct 2 with the seal tape 4 to the lower mold 7a, the backing material 3 is attached and set to the mold surface 76 of the upper mold 7b with a stopper (not shown).

Here, as described above, the flange 27 of the duct 2 is formed with a recess 272 that is recessed from the outer surface 27a side to the back surface 27b side of the flat flange main portion 271 (FIG. 10). The seal tape 4 is stuck to the flange main part 271 in a state of closing the air intake port 26e and floating in the recess 272.

Next, a predetermined amount of foaming raw material m such as a sheet pad molding urethane foaming stock solution is injected into the mold surface 71 forming the cavity 70 of the lower mold 7a with the mold open (see FIG. 11). Conventionally, the foaming raw material m is injected through the air intake port 26e with the mouth opened upward. However, the foaming raw material m scatters at the time of the injection, or the injected foaming raw material m rebounds. Or may enter the air intake port 26e. Here, since the seal tape 4 blocks the air intake port 26e and is adhered to the flange 27, the foaming material m does not enter the air intake port 26e. Further, since the seal tape 4 covers the entire outer surface 27a of the flange 27, the outer surface 27a of the flange 27 is not soiled with the foaming material m.

Subsequently, the upper die 7b is operated to close the die (FIG. 12). By closing the upper mold 7b and the lower mold 7a, the seat pad 1 cavity 70 in which the duct 2 with the seal tape 4 is insert-set is formed.
After mold closing, the process proceeds to foam molding of the seat pad 1. 12 is maintained for a predetermined time, and the seat pad 1 in which the duct 2 with the seal tape 4 as shown in FIGS. The cylindrical portion 26 on the back surface 27b side of the flange 27 together with the duct main portion 21 is filled with the seat pad 1, the seat pad 1 into which the duct 2 is inserted is integrally foam-molded, and air suction is performed with the seal tape 4. Foaming is performed with the mouth 26e closed and the outer surface 27a of the flange 27 covered.

Thus, the seat pad 1 is integrally foam-molded in a state where the duct 2 with the sealing tape 4 and the backing material 3 are inserted into the foaming mold 7. The mouth of the air outlet 25a is closed by the upper end surface 72a of the raised portion 72, and the air inlet 26e is closed and sealed with the sealing tape 4, so that the foam raw material m is introduced into the duct 2 in the foam molding process. There is no invasion.

Finished foam molding of the seat pad 1, if demolding, Kuno sealing tape ducted mixed sheet pads per FIGS obtained. A sheet pad with a duct with a seal tape is completed, which prevents the dust and dirt from entering the duct 2 from the large air inlet 26e. The stage where the foam molding is completed is a seat pad with a duct with a seal tape, but the seal tape 4 is peeled off from the duct 2 at the stage where it is assembled to the final vehicle. At the time of assembly to the vehicle, the seat pad 1 with the duct 2 from which the seal tape 4 has been peeled off is provided. When the seat pad 1 with the duct 2 from which the sealing tape 4 has been peeled is covered with a skin (not shown), it becomes a seat cushion for a seat of a vehicle seat.
Also in this manufacturing method, the pinhole 45 or the perforation 46 is provided in a portion that closes the air inlet 26e of the seal tape 4, or the recess 272 with the open portion 272k or the bay portion 274 is provided in the flange 27. be able to.

(3) Effect According to the manufacturing method of the seat pad with a duct configured as described above, the duct 2 with the seal tape 4 inserted by the seal tape 4 closing the air intake port 26e and adhered to the flange 27 is inserted, and the seat Since the pad 1 is foam-molded, the foam material m cannot enter the duct 2 from the air inlet 26e not only in the foam molding process but also in the foam material feed process. Since the air intake port 26e is blocked by the seal tape 4, even if the injection hose h is misplaced over the head of the air intake port 26e and the foaming material m is poured from the hose h in FIG. It does not enter the mouth 26e. Whereas the invention of Patent Document 1 was unprotected in the process of injecting the foaming raw material m, the present invention prevents the intrusion of the foaming raw material m into the duct 2 in the injection process and the foaming process of the foaming raw material m. It has become.
Even if the foaming raw material m that has entered the pipe is removed by post-processing, it is after the formation of the commercialized seat pad 1 and has difficulty in post-processing work while ensuring product quality. If it cannot be removed, the hardened portion of the foaming raw material m remains in the duct 2 and the ventilation resistance is increased, so that it does not conform to the seat pad 1 with the duct 2 in pursuit of comfort and becomes a defective product. Is effective in improving productivity and quality.

Further, since the seal tape 4 covers the entire area of the outer surface 27a of the flange 27, the outer surface serving as a joint portion with the mating member is not soiled with the foaming material m. If the foaming raw material m is applied to the flange joint surface, it becomes difficult to join the mating member. Therefore, the hardened portion of the foaming raw material m has to be removed.

Further, when the duct 2 with the sealing tape 4 is inserted and a seat pad with a sealing tape on which the seat pad 1 is integrally foamed is formed, dust can be collected from the large air intake 26e for storage or the like. Such impurities will not enter the duct 2. Contribute to quality maintenance.

At the time of assembly to the vehicle, the seat pad 1 with the duct 2 from which the seal tape 4 has been peeled off is provided. However, when the recess 272 is formed, the seal tape 4 floats in the recess 272. Since it is affixed to the flange 27, the joint portion between the seal tape 4 and the flange 27 is reduced. Therefore, the seal tape 4 can be easily peeled off.

However, if the peripheral edge of the seal tape 4 enters the seat pad 1 during foam molding or under the backing material 3 attached to the back surface 1b of the seat pad, the seal tape 4 is peeled off. Becomes difficult. Even in such a case, if the pinhole 45 or the perforation 46 is provided in the part of the seal tape 4 that closes the air intake port 26e, the seal that closes the air intake port 26e is used as described above. The tape 4 can be easily peeled off.
In addition, when the recess 272 with the opening 272k is provided in the flange 27 and the recess is formed into a cove shape, after the product is completed, if the finger is pushed into the opening 272k as shown by the arrow in FIG. The seal tape 4 can be easily peeled off.
Further, when the bay portion 274 is formed in the flange 27, even if the entire outer surface 27a of the flange 27 is covered with the seal tape 4 and the seat pad 1 is foam-molded, the arrow shown in FIG. Thus, after inserting the finger F under the seal tape 4 covering the bay 274, if the fingertip is bent and the seal tape 4 is lifted, the seal tape 4 can be easily peeled off.

Here, when the sealing tape 4 adhered to the flange 27 is peeled off, it can be peeled off by using a hooking tool such as a bottle opener. However, if you change the hook tool in your hand and work, the time will increase and the number of work steps will increase.
If the pinhole 45 or the perforation 46, and the recess 272 with the opening 272k and the bay 274 are formed, the seal tape 4 can be peeled off from the duct 2 with the seal tape 4 very easily. Since the seal tape 4 can be peeled off immediately at the vehicle assembly site, the sheet pad with the seal tape cured with the seal tape 4 is kept to the vehicle assembly site to prevent dust and dirt from entering the duct 2. Supply is also possible. Contributes to further quality improvement. Of course, even if the seat pad with duct with seal tape is produced and stored in stock, the seal tape 4 is cured by closing the air inlet 26e, so that dust and dust do not enter the duct 2 and the quality is maintained. To contribute.
