Description
例示的なシステム100は、画像形成部材110の画像再形成可能な表面を湿潤液で均一に湿らせる、湿潤ローラまたは湿潤ユニットと見なされ得る一連のローラを一般的に備える湿潤液サブシステム120を含む。湿潤液サブシステム120の目的は、一般的には均一かつ制御された厚さを有する湿潤液の層を画像形成部材110の画像再形成可能な表面へ届けることである。上記で示したように、湿潤液は、以下でより詳細に説明するように、表面張力を小さくすると同時に後続のレーザーパターニングのサポートに必要な蒸発エネルギーを低くするために追加される少量のイソプロピルアルコールまたはエタノールを選択的に含む水を主に含んでよいことが知られている。湿潤液が噴水溶液である場合、少量の特定の界面活性剤が噴水溶液に加えられてよい。代わりに、他の適切な湿潤液がインクベースのデジタルリソグラフィシステムの性能を高めるために使用され得る。
Claims (15)
- インク印刷に有用なインクベースのデジタル印刷システムであって、
湿潤液の層が形成されるように構成され、かつ、湿潤液の層をレーザーパターニングして湿潤液画像を形成するレーザー画像装置によって放出される光エネルギーを吸収するよう構成される画像形成部材と、
転写部材であって、これと前記画像形成部材とで湿潤液画像装填ニップを形成して、前記湿潤液画像を前記画像形成部材から当該転写部材に転写する転写部材と、
インクローラであって、前記湿潤液画像が塗布されている前記転写部材の表面にインクを塗布して、前記湿潤液画像に基づくインク画像を形成するように構成されるインクローラと、
を備える、インクベースのデジタル印刷システム。 - 湿潤液の均一な層を前記画像形成部材の表面上へ形成するよう構成される湿潤液計測供給システム、
を備える、請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記レーザー画像装置は、画像データに従って前記湿潤液を供給するよう構成される、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 前記転写部材は、前記湿潤液画像装填ニップで前記画像形成部材の表面から前記湿潤液画像が転写されるように構成される、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- レーザー画像装置であって、前記レーザー画像装置は、湿潤液画像を形成するために、前記湿潤液の層の一部を選択的に蒸発させるレーザー光線を前記画像形成部材の湿潤液の層に照射するよう構成されるレーザー画像装置、
を備える、請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記画像形成部材は、赤外線吸収表面をさらに含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記転写部材は、適合表面をさらに含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記転写部材は、シリコン表面をさらに含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記画像形成部材および前記転写部材のそれぞれは、テクスチャ表面を有する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 基板搬送システム、および
インク画像転写ニップを含み、
前記インク画像転写ニップは、前記転写部材および前記基板搬送システムによって規定される、請求項1に記載のシステム。 - インクベースのデジタル印刷に関する方法であって、
画像形成部材の表面上へ湿潤液を計測しながら供給して、湿潤液の層を形成すること、
画像データに従って湿潤液画像を形成するために前記湿潤液の層に放射線を選択的に照射して湿潤液画像を形成すること、
転写部材および前記画像形成部材によって規定される湿潤液パターン装填ニップで前記湿潤液画像を前記転写部材へ転写すること、
インク画像を生成するために、前記湿潤液画像を有する前記転写部材の表面へインクを塗布すること、
および、
前記転写部材および基板搬送システムによって規定されるインク画像転写ニップで前記インク画像を基板へ転写すること、
を含む方法。 - 前記インク画像の基板への転写前に、前記インクの粘着性を高めるために前記インク画像を調節すること、
を含む、請求項11に記載の方法。 - 湿潤液画像転写後に前記画像形成部材の表面に残る湿潤液を蒸発させるために、熱および気流を前記画像形成部材の前記表面へ印加すること、
を含む、請求項11に記載の方法。 - 前記選択的に照射することは、レーザー画像装置からレーザー光線を出力することをさらに含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記インク画像の転写後に、前記転写部材の表面に残っているインクを除去することを含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
