Description
The present invention relates to a bearing device for a ceramic roll such as a sink roll or a support roll that is immersed in a molten metal plating bath in order to perform metal plating such as galvanization on a steel sheet.
As shown in FIG. 10, a continuous molten metal plating apparatus that continuously performs plating while running a steel plate having a cleaned and activated surface in a molten
The
Since the
Ceramics having excellent corrosion resistance and wear resistance have recently been used for bearings for rotatably supporting sink rolls and support rolls immersed in such a molten metal plating bath. For example, Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 5-230607 (Patent Document 1) is a ball bearing or roller bearing used for a heat-resistant alloy guide roll that is rotatably supported in a molten metal plating bath, and includes an inner ring, an outer ring, and a retainer. The solid lubrication member is fixed to the sliding surface of the cylinder, the spherical or cylindrical rolling element is made of a sialon sintered body, and the solid lubrication member sinters pitch-based carbon in which carbon fibers are oriented in one direction. A ball bearing or roller bearing made of a C-fiber-dispersed graphite composite material is disclosed. In this bearing, only the rolling elements are made of ceramics, and the sliding surfaces of the inner ring, the outer ring and the retainer are made of a C-fiber-dispersed graphite composite. Therefore, sufficient wear resistance is obtained when used in a molten metal plating bath. In the bearing structure having the retainer as well as not having, there is a high possibility that the rotation of the rolling element is hindered by the dross that has entered.
Utility Model Registration No. 2548939 (Patent Document 2) is a ball bearing device that rotatably supports a
As shown in FIG. 12, Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 5-72963 (Patent Document 3) is a bearing device that rotatably supports a
The bearings of Patent Documents 1 to 3 are all made of ceramics, but the roll itself is made of metal. However, since the use conditions of the sink roll and the support roll in the molten metal plating bath are extremely severe, these rolls have been required to have excellent corrosion resistance and wear resistance. Therefore, Patent No. 4147509 (Patent Document 4) is a continuous molten metal plating roll that is used by being immersed in a molten metal bath, and includes a ceramic hollow roll body and a ceramic hollow shaft. And a roll characterized in that a hollow shaft part is joined to both ends of the hollow roll body part by fitting or screwing.
However, if (a) the replacement cycle of the bearing does not extend in accordance with the extension of the replacement cycle of the ceramic roll itself, the replacement cycle of the sink roll device and the entire support roll device will not be sufficiently long, but (b) It has been found that even when a ceramic bearing is combined, there is a problem that foreign matter such as dross in the molten metal plating bath enters the bearing and the rotation of the bearing stops, and a sufficient extension of the replacement cycle cannot be achieved.
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to have sufficient corrosion resistance and wear resistance, and minimize the total rotational resistance even if foreign matter such as dross enters and the rotation of the bearing member stops, thereby sufficiently ensuring the replacement cycle. It is to provide an extended bearing device.
As a result of diligent research in view of the above object, the inventor has (a) that even if the bearing is made of ceramics, it cannot completely prevent the entry of foreign substances such as dross when used in a molten metal plating bath for a long time. (b) Accordingly, even if foreign matter such as dross enters, the structure can prevent the ball from stopping as much as possible. (c) Even if some balls stop rotating, the inner ring and the outer ring may not be worn abnormally. It was discovered that a bearing device having a long exchange cycle required for the ceramic roll can be obtained by making the structure capable of maintaining the rotation function of the entire bearing device as long as possible while suppressing damage as much as possible, and arrived at the present invention. .

The inner diameter of the part is set to be larger than the inner diameter of the second flat part, and the ball enters the ball grooves of the outer ring and the inner ring facing from the side of the first flat part. The bearing device of the present invention includes a plurality of ceramic bearing members arranged in the axial direction of the roll shaft portion, and a ceramic holder that fixes an outer ring of each bearing member, and the inner ring of each bearing member is a roll. The inner ring is in contact with the roll shaft while the inner ring is rotatable with respect to the outer ring via the ball. (B) When the inner ring is not rotatable with respect to the outer ring, the inner ring is set to be slidable with respect to the roll shaft. When foreign matter such as dross enters between them and rotation of some balls stops and the inner ring stops rotating with respect to the outer ring, only the bearing members of the inner ring and outer ring slide against the roll shaft. In other bearing members, the inner ring continues to rotate with respect to the outer ring. As a result, not only damage such as abnormal wear of the inner ring and outer ring is suppressed, but the rotation function of the entire apparatus can be maintained as long as possible by normal rotation of the other bearing members. Therefore, the bearing device of the present invention has a sufficiently long exchange cycle when used in a ceramic roll.
Embodiments of the present invention will be described below in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings, but the present invention is not limited thereto.
[1] Configuration of Bearing Device As shown in FIGS. 1 (a) and 1 (b), the bearing device 1 of the present invention includes a plurality of bearings arranged in the axial direction along the
(A) Bearing member As shown in FIGS. 2 (c) and 2 (e), the
The
In addition, the
As shown in FIG. 1, the present invention is characterized in that a plurality of bearing
Since the size of the gap between the
While the
As shown in detail in FIG. 2 (e), the
In order to have high durability against troubles caused by biting such as dross, the bearing device 1 of the present invention has a pair of
(B) Holder As shown in FIG. 4 (a), the
As shown in FIGS. 5 (a) to 5 (c), the holder

(C) Material In the present invention, the
[2] Metal Case In order to attach the bearing device 1 of the present invention to the metal arm of the molten metal plating tank, it is accommodated in the
The
[3] Ceramic Roll FIG. 8 shows a

[4] Assembly and operation of bearing device After a plurality of bearing
As shown in FIGS. 9 (a) and 9 (b), the
The bearing device 1 attached to the
The
The
As described above, depending on the degree of entry of foreign matter such as dross into the
Since the plurality of bearing
If abnormal wear occurs in the bearing
