Claims (14)
- 複合構造の導電層のための修復装置であって、
外縁を有し、前記複合構造に固定される誘電体層、及び
感圧接着剤によって前記誘電体層上で前記誘電体層の前記外縁全体の周囲で前記複合構造に固定される導電層であって、前記複合構造と接触する外縁領域を画定する導電層を含み、
前記外縁領域における前記接着剤が、前記導電層と前記複合構造の導電層との間の導電性パスを確実にするための切れ目又は溝を有する、修復装置。 - 前記誘電体層は、0.0508mmから0.2032mm(2ミルから8ミル)の厚さ、及び2から5の比誘電率を有する、請求項1に記載の修復装置。
- 前記導電層は、0.2032mmから0.3048mm(8ミルから12ミル)の厚さ、及び0.2032mmから0.3048mm(8ミルから12ミル)の厚さを有するアルミニウムの当量導電率を有する、請求項1に記載の修復装置。
- 前記複合構造の前記導電層は、前記複合構造に一体的に含まれる銅箔グリッド層を含む、請求項1に記載の修復装置。
- 前記複合構造は、航空機の一部を含む、請求項1に記載の修復装置。
- 前記複合構造は、前記航空機の外板パネルを含む、請求項5に記載の修復装置。
- 前記導電層の外縁周囲に適用されるシーリング組成物をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の修復装置。
- 前記誘電体層は、ポリエステルを含む、請求項1に記載の修復装置。
- 前記誘電体層及び前記導電層は、アクリル及びシリコーンからなるグループから選択される前記感圧接着剤で固定される、請求項1に記載の修復装置。
- 炭素繊維複合航空機外板パネルを一時的に修復するための方法であって、
留め具付近の損傷エリアに前記パネルの表面を準備すること、
前記損傷エリア及び前記留め具を覆う誘電材料を、感圧接着剤で前記パネルに付着させること、
前記誘電材料を完全に覆い前記パネルと接触する外縁領域を画定する導電性パッチを、感圧接着剤で前記誘電材料及び前記パネルに付着させること、を含み、
前記導電性パッチの前記外縁領域の接着剤には、前記パネルへの接着に先立って、前記導電性パッチの選択された領域で前記導電材料を露出するために切れ目が入れられる、方法。 - 前記パネルの前記表面を準備することは、前記誘電材料を付着させることに先立って、前記パネル表面を研削すること、研磨すること、埋めること及び化学的に処理することのうちの1又は複数を含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記誘電材料を前記パネルに付着させることは、0.0508mmから0.2032mm(2ミルから8ミル)の厚さ、及び2から5の比誘電率を有する誘電材料を付着させることを含み、前記導電性パッチを付着させることは、0.2032mmから0.3048mm(8ミルから12ミル)の厚さ、及び0.2032mmから0.3048mm(8ミルから12ミル)の厚さを有するアルミニウムの当量導電率を有する導電性パッチを付着させることを含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記パッチを前記パネルに付着させた後に、前記導電性パッチの外縁を密封することをさらに含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記航空機外板パネルは、胴体外板パネル及び翼外板パネルのうちの1つである、請求項10に記載の方法。
