Description
The present invention relates to an electronic device, and more particularly, to a technique for grasping a voltage drop amount when a function is executed before the function is executed.
Conventionally, since a plurality of electronic devices are connected to a commercial power outlet, the power supply voltage input to each electronic device drops, thereby increasing the possibility of the operation of each electronic device becoming unstable. It is known.
Therefore, for example, as described in
However, using the technique described in
The present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and before executing a function, the voltage drop amount at the time of executing the function can be appropriately and efficiently grasped according to the installation environment of the electronic device. An object of the present invention is to provide an electronic device capable of appropriately determining whether or not a function can be executed based on the grasped voltage drop amount at the time of executing the function.
The electronic apparatus according to the present invention, after performing a warm-up operation of a plurality of operation units that operate using a power supply voltage supplied from an external power supply, a measurement unit that measures the power supply voltage, and the predetermined operation unit, A function execution unit capable of executing a function of operating one or more operation units at a predetermined operation timing, a reference initial drop amount predetermined as a voltage drop amount by the warm-up operation, and an operation of each operation unit A voltage between a storage unit that stores a predetermined reference operation drop amount as a voltage drop amount, a predetermined standard voltage of the power supply voltage, and a start voltage measured by the measurement unit at the start of the warm-up operation The difference is calculated as the external drop amount, and the voltage difference between the starting voltage and the voltage measured by the measurement unit during the warm-up operation is calculated as the actual drop amount. A drop amount calculating unit that calculates a product of a ratio of the actual drop amount to the reference initial drop amount and the reference operation drop amount corresponding to each operation unit as a correction drop amount corresponding to each operation unit An amount correction unit, and when the sum of the correction drop amounts corresponding to the operation units operating simultaneously at the time of execution of the function is maximized, the sum is calculated as a maximum operation drop amount, and the maximum operation drop amount is An execution control unit that causes the function execution unit to execute the function when the sum of the extrinsic drop amount does not exceed a predetermined threshold drop amount.
According to this configuration, the voltage difference between the predetermined standard voltage of the power supply voltage and the start voltage measured at the start of the warm-up operation performed before executing the function is calculated as the external cause drop amount. Further, the voltage difference between the starting voltage and the measured voltage during the warm-up operation is calculated as the actual drop amount.
In other words, even if the power supply voltage supplied to the electronic device is dropped by being used by another electronic device other than the electronic device, the voltage drop amount is appropriately set according to the installation environment of the electronic device. It can be calculated as an extrinsic drop amount. In addition, the voltage drop amount due to the warm-up operation performed before the execution of the function can be appropriately calculated as the actual drop amount according to the installation environment of the electronic device.
Further, according to the configuration of the invention, the product of the ratio of the actual drop amount to the reference initial drop amount and the reference action drop amount corresponding to each predetermined operation unit is used as the correction drop amount corresponding to each operation unit. calculate.
In other words, the ratio of the actual drop amount, which is the voltage drop amount due to the actual warm-up operation in the electronic device after installation, to the reference initial drop amount determined without considering the installation environment of the electronic device, is used. The reference operation drop amount, which is the voltage drop amount due to the operation of each operation unit determined without considering the installation environment, can be corrected to the correction drop amount taking into account the installation environment of the electronic device.
Thus, according to the configuration of the above invention, the reference operation drop amount stored in the storage unit can be corrected to the correction drop amount that takes into account the installation environment of the electronic device. The same reference action drop amount as that stored in the unit can be stored in the storage unit of another electronic device having the same specifications as the electronic device.
As a result, the operation of each operation unit was performed without the need to measure and store the voltage drop amount when each operation unit was individually operated in advance for each device, which was necessary in the prior art. Can be grasped as a corrected drop amount appropriately and efficiently in accordance with the installation environment of the electronic device.
Then, when the sum of the correction drop amounts corresponding to the operation units operating simultaneously at the time of executing the function is maximized, the sum is calculated as the maximum operation drop amount. Then, the function is executed when the sum of the maximum action drop amount and the external cause drop amount does not exceed the threshold drop amount.
As a result, the sum of the extrinsic drop amount calculated before the function is executed and the maximum operation drop amount is added to the voltage drop amount due to the operation of the other electronic device, and the function is executed according to the installation environment of the electronic device. It is possible to appropriately and efficiently grasp the maximum voltage drop amount, and appropriately determine whether or not to execute the function depending on whether or not the grasped voltage drop amount exceeds the threshold drop amount.
In addition, when the sum of the maximum operation drop amount and the external cause drop amount exceeds the threshold drop amount, the execution control unit determines the operation timing as the sum of the maximum operation drop amount and the external cause drop amount. When it is possible to change to another operation timing that does not exceed the threshold drop amount, it is preferable to cause the function execution unit to execute the function using the other operation timing.
According to this configuration, even when the sum of the maximum operation drop amount and the extrinsic drop amount exceeds the threshold drop amount, the maximum operation drop amount is the threshold drop when the operation timing of each operation unit is executed when the function is executed. When it is possible to change to another operation timing that does not exceed the amount, the function can be executed using the other operation timing. In this way, by reducing the amount of voltage drop when executing the function, the opportunity to execute the function can be increased, so that the convenience of the electronic device can be improved.
In addition, a warning notification unit that notifies a warning that the function cannot be executed due to power shortage, and the execution control unit, when the sum of the maximum operation drop amount and the external cause drop amount exceeds the threshold drop amount In addition, when the operation timing cannot be changed to another operation timing that prevents the sum of the maximum operation drop amount and the extrinsic drop amount from exceeding the threshold drop amount, the function execution unit is provided with the function It is preferable that the warning is notified to the warning notifying unit without executing.
According to this configuration, the sum of the maximum operation drop amount and the extrinsic drop amount exceeds the threshold drop amount, and the maximum operation drop amount is the threshold drop amount. When it is impossible to change to another operation timing that does not exceed, a warning that the function cannot be executed due to insufficient power is notified by the warning notification unit. For this reason, the user can grasp in advance that the function cannot be executed due to power shortage. This makes it easier for the user to take measures to eliminate the power shortage.
An instruction receiving unit that receives an execution priority instruction that prioritizes execution of the function while avoiding power shortage; and when the execution priority instruction is received by the instruction receiving unit, the operation timing is set to the maximum operation It is preferable to further include a timing changing unit that changes the operation timing to minimize the drop amount.
According to this configuration, when an execution priority instruction is received by the instruction receiving unit, the function is executed at an operation timing that minimizes the voltage drop amount during function execution. For this reason, when the user wants to reduce the amount of voltage drop during function execution as much as possible, such as when the power supply voltage supplied to the electronic device is also to be used for other electronic devices, the execution priority instruction is given to the instruction receiving unit. By performing the receiving operation, the function can be executed with the voltage drop amount as small as possible.
According to the present invention, it is possible to appropriately and efficiently grasp the voltage drop amount at the time of executing the function according to the installation environment of the electronic device before executing the function. It is possible to provide an electronic device that can appropriately determine whether or not a function can be executed based on the above.
Hereinafter, an embodiment of an electronic apparatus according to the invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

As shown in FIG. 3, when a power supply voltage is supplied from a commercial power supply to the

For example, it is assumed that a plug of a power cable of another electronic device is connected to the table tap TT (FIG. 1). In this case, there is a possibility that the power supply voltage supplied to the
Next, the drop
In step S8, the drop
For example, it is assumed that the
Next, the drop
Then, the drop
FIG. 4 is a diagram illustrating an example of the correction drop amounts Dc1 to Dc4. Specifically, as shown in FIG. 4, the drop
Further, the drop
In this way, whenever the
The
Hereinafter, an operation in which the
As shown in FIG. 5, when an instruction to execute a certain function is received by the instruction receiving unit 11 (S21), the
Then, when the control of the warm-up operation by the
FIG. 6 is a diagram illustrating an example of the relationship between the operation timing of each operation unit and the maximum operation drop amount Dmax when each function is executed. For example, assume that an instruction to execute a print function is received in step S21. As shown in FIG. 6, when the print function is executed, the operation timing is determined so that only the
That is, since only the
On the other hand, assume that an instruction to execute the copy function is received in step S21. As shown in FIG. 6, when the copy function is executed, the
In other words, when the copy function is executed, the total sum of the correction drop amounts corresponding to the respective operation units operating simultaneously from the time tb1 when the
In step S21, it is assumed that an instruction to execute the copy function with sort function is received. As shown in FIG. 6, when the copy function with sort function is executed, the
That is, when the copy function with sort function is executed, the correction drop amount corresponding to each operation unit operating simultaneously from the time tc1 when the
In step S21, it is assumed that an instruction to execute the copy function with sorting and stapling function is received. As shown in FIG. 6, when executing the copy function with sort and staple function, the
That is, when the copy function with sort function is executed, the correction drop amount corresponding to each operation unit that operates simultaneously from the time td1 when the
Returning to FIG. Next, the
The threshold drop amount Dth is determined in advance as the voltage drop amount of the power supply voltage when it is considered that the function cannot be normally executed. For example, as described above, when the power supply voltage fluctuates by a predetermined level (eg, 30 V (30% of the standard voltage)) or more compared to a predetermined standard voltage (eg, 100 V), the
If the
For example, as described above, it is assumed that the extrinsic drop amount De is 10V, the execution target function is a copy function, and the maximum operation drop amount Dmax calculated in step S23 is 11.2V (FIG. 6). In this case, in step S24, the
On the other hand, if the
If the
For example, as described above, the extrinsic drop amount De is 10V, the execution target function is the copy function with sorting and stapling function, and the maximum operation drop amount Dmax calculated in step S23 is 21V (FIG. 6). To do. In this case, in step S24, the
FIG. 7 is a diagram illustrating an example of a relationship between another operation timing and the maximum operation drop amount when executing the copy function with sorting and stapling functions. For example, as shown in FIG. 7, it is assumed that the operation timing when executing the copy function with sorting and stapling function is changed to an operation timing different from the operation timing shown in FIG. That is, the scanner operation by the
At this operation timing, from the time td4 when the
That is, in this specific example, in step S25, the
On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 5, it is assumed that the
For example, as described above, it is assumed that the extrinsic drop amount De is 10V, the execution target function is the copy function with sorting and stapling function, and the maximum operation drop amount Dmax calculated in step S23 is 21V. However, the threshold drop amount Dth is set to 25 V, which is smaller than the above 30 V.
In this case, as described above, even if the operation timing used when executing the copy function with sorting and stapling function is changed from the operation timing shown in FIG. 6 to another operation timing shown in FIG. Since the sum of the amount Dmax and the extrinsic drop amount De is 28.2V, the threshold drop amount Dth exceeds 25V.
Therefore, it is conceivable that the operation timing shown in FIG. 7 is further changed to an operation timing for operating the
Further, it is conceivable to change the operation timing shown in FIG. 7 to an operation timing that causes the
Therefore, in this specific example, in step S25, the
As described above, according to the configuration of the above embodiment, the voltage difference between the predetermined standard voltage Vd of the power supply voltage and the start voltage Vs measured at the start of the warm-up operation performed before executing the function is calculated. Calculated as the extrinsic drop amount De. Further, the voltage difference between the starting voltage Vs and the measured voltage Vm during the warm-up operation is calculated as the actual drop amount Dr.
That is, even if the power supply voltage supplied to the
Further, according to the configuration of the above embodiment, the product of the ratio (correction ratio C) of the actual drop amount Dr to the reference initial drop amount D0 and the reference operation drop amounts D1 to D4 corresponding to the predetermined operation units is obtained. The correction drop amounts Dc1 to Dc4 corresponding to the respective operation units are calculated.
In other words, the ratio (correction ratio) of the actual drop amount Dr, which is the voltage drop amount due to the actual warm-up operation in the
As described above, according to the configuration of the above embodiment, the reference operation drop amounts D1 to D4 stored in the
As a result, the operation of each operation unit was performed without the need to measure and store the voltage drop amount when each operation unit was individually operated in advance for each device, which was necessary in the prior art. Can be grasped as correction drop amounts Dc1 to Dc4 appropriately and efficiently in accordance with the installation environment of the
Then, when the sum of the correction drop amounts corresponding to the respective operation units operating simultaneously during the execution of the function is maximized, the sum is calculated as the maximum operation drop amount Dmax. Then, the function is executed when the sum of the maximum operation drop amount Dmax and the extrinsic drop amount De does not exceed the threshold drop amount Dth.
As a result, the function according to the installation environment of the
Further, according to the configuration of the above embodiment, even when the sum of the maximum operation drop amount Dmax and the extrinsic drop amount De exceeds the threshold drop amount Dth, the operation timing of each operation unit when executing the function is set. When the maximum operation drop amount Dmax can be changed to another operation timing that does not exceed the threshold drop amount Dth, the function can be executed using the other operation timing. In this way, by reducing the amount of voltage drop when executing the function, the opportunity to execute the function can be increased, so the convenience of the
Further, according to the configuration of the above embodiment, the operation timing of each operation unit when the function is executed when the sum of the maximum operation drop amount Dmax and the extrinsic drop amount De exceeds the threshold drop amount Dth, When it is impossible to change to another operation timing such that the maximum operation drop amount Dmax does not exceed the threshold drop amount Dth, the

FIG. 8 is a diagram illustrating an example of the relationship between the operation timing changed by the
Since only the
On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 8, the
Similarly, as shown in FIG. 8, the
That is, the
Similarly, as shown in FIG. 8, the
In other words, the
After the change of each operation timing by the

(5) Steps S25 and S26 (FIG. 5) may be omitted. Accordingly, when the sum of the maximum operation drop amount Dmax and the external cause drop amount De exceeds the threshold drop amount Dth in step S24 (FIG. 5) (S24; YES), the
