Claims (12)
- フライホイール装置用の封じ込めレイヤであって、
内壁および外壁を含む実質的に円筒形のチャンバと、
前記チャンバ内壁および前記チャンバ外壁の少なくとも1つに取り付けられた複数の変形可能なブラケット(204)とを備え、前記ブラケット(204)が、衝撃を受けたとき予測可能に変形するように配向され、前記ブラケット(204)がそれぞれ、衝撃を封じ込めるための少なくとも1つの表面を有し、前記ブラケット(204)が、複数のレイヤ(220、240、260)を含み、少なくとも1つのレイヤが融蝕性粒子を含む、封じ込めレイヤ。 - 衝撃を封じ込めるための前記ブラケット表面が、0.1°から5°の衝撃の方向における視射角をもたらす、請求項1に記載の封じ込めレイヤ。
- フライホイール装置(210)を実質的に囲み、前記装置が、300m/秒から3000m/秒の速度で回転する少なくとも1つのロータを含む、請求項1に記載の封じ込めレイヤ。
- 前記ブラケット(204)がS字形であり、前記ブラケット(204)が、外向きの衝撃に応答して半径方向外向きの方向で塑性変形する、請求項1に記載の封じ込めレイヤ。
- 前記ブラケット(204)が、衝撃を受けたとき予測可能に変形し、前記チャンバ内で実質的に円環状のキャビティを生み出す、請求項1または4に記載の封じ込めレイヤ。
- 少なくとも1つのブラケット(240)レイヤが、ガラス含有繊維、炭素含有繊維、またはそれらの組合せからなる群から選択される材料を含む織布レイヤである、請求項1に記載の封じ込めレイヤ。
- 前記炭素含有繊維がカーボンナノチューブ含有繊維である、請求項6に記載の封じ込めレイヤ。
