Claims (11)
- 航空機の外部のエアストリームに曝されたときに航空機内で電力を生成するラムエアタービンシステムであって、
複数のブレードと、該ブレードに動作可能に結合されたタービン出力シャフトとを有し、前記ブレードの回転によって前記タービン出力シャフトが回転するようになったタービンと、
内部を定める本体を備えるハウジングと、
前記内部に配置され、ギアボックス出力要素を備えた増速ギアトレーンを有し且つ前記タービン出力シャフトに動作可能に結合されて該ギアボックス出力要素が前記ブレードよりも高速度で回転するようになるギアボックスと、
前記内部に配置され、ステータ及びロータを有して該ロータが前記ギアボックス出力要素に動作可能に結合される発電機と、
前記ギアボックスから前記発電機まで延びて前記本体内に形成された通路によって少なくとも部分的に形成された冷却材回路を有し、該冷却材回路内を循環する冷却材によって前記ギアボックス及び前記発電機から前記ハウジングに熱が伝達されるようになった、前記ギアボックス及び前記発電機を冷却するための、前記本体と一体化された熱交換器と、
を備え、
前記タービン、ギアボックス、及び発電機が直線的に配列されて、前記ブレードを通過するエアストリームが前記ギアボックス、及び前記発電機にわたって流れ、再循環する前記冷却材から前記ハウジングを介して前記エアストリームへの熱伝達を可能にする、ラムエアタービンシステム。 - 前記ハウジングが更に、外向きに突出する冷却フィンを含む、請求項1に記載のラムエアタービンシステム。
- 前記通路の少なくとも一部が前記冷却フィン内に配置される、請求項2に記載のラムエ
アタービンシステム。 - 前記冷却フィンが、前記ハウジングの周辺の周りに間隔を置いて配置される、請求項3に記載のラムエアタービンシステム。
- 前記冷却材回路に流体結合されて前記冷却材回路に冷却材を供給する冷却材サンプを更に備える、請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載のラムエアタービンシステム。
- 前記冷却材サンプ及び前記冷却材回路の少なくとも一方に流体結合されて前記冷却材サンプから前記冷却材回路を通って冷却材を再循環させるポンプを更に備える、請求項5に記載のラムエアタービンシステム。
- 前記サンプ及びポンプが前記ギアボックス内に配置される、請求項6に記載のラムエアタービンシステム。
- 前記増速ギアトレーンが前記ポンプを駆動する、請求項7に記載のラムエアタービンシステム。
- 前記発電機が、20,000rpmで少なくとも30kWを生成するよう構成される、請求項1乃至8のいずれかに記載のラムエアタービンシステム。
- 前記増速ギアトレーンは、前記出力要素が前記タービン出力シャフトの所定回転速度に応答して20,000rpmで回転するように選択される、請求項9に記載のラムエアタービンシステム。
- 前記タービン出力シャフトの所定回転速度が6,000rpmである、請求項10に記載のラムエアタービンシステム。
