窓ガラスが接続されるキャリアプレートと、
駆動部と、
前記駆動部の駆動力により回転するドラムと、
前記ドラムを収容するドラムハウジングと、
前記キャリアプレートに連結され、前記ドラムの回転により巻き取られること及び送り出されることによって、前記キャリアプレートを昇降移動させるワイヤと、
前記ワイヤの配索方向を転換する方向転換部材と、
前記ワイヤを挿通可能な保持パイプと、
を備えたワイヤ式ウインドレギュレータであって、
前記保持パイプは、前記方向転換部材と前記ドラムハウジングとの間に配索された前記ワイヤが挿通された状態で、前記方向転換部材の方向転換部材側取付手段と前記ドラムハウジングのドラムハウジング側取付手段とに前記保持パイプの一端部と他端部とがそれぞれ挿入されることにより前記方向転換部材と前記ドラムハウジングに取り付けられ、
前記方向転換部材と前記ドラムハウジングとの間に配索された前記ワイヤの配索経路が最も長い状態となるような所定の引張力によって前記方向転換部材を前記ドラムハウジングに対して相対移動させた際には、
前記方向転換部材及び前記ドラムハウジングのいずれか一方の移動に追従して前記保持パイプが移動可能となるように前記方向転換部材及び前記ドラムハウジングの他方の取付手段に取り付けられた前記保持パイプの端部が前記他方の取付手段内において移動可能であり、
前記方向転換部材と前記ドラムハウジングとを車体へ取り付ける際には、
前記方向転換部材と前記ドラムハウジングとの距離が車体への取付可能な距離範囲であって、前記ワイヤの張力が窓ガラスを昇降させるのに必要な張力となるような長さ範囲において、前記保持パイプが移動可能となるように前記他方の取付手段に取り付けられた前記保持パイプの端部が前記他方の取付手段内において移動可能である
