- 炭化水素含有流体から水銀含有種を除去する方法であって、ジチオカルバメート重合体を、前記重合体上の水銀結合部位の数が水銀原子の量を少なくとも10%超えるような量で、前記流体に添加するステップと、水/油分離装置で前記水銀含有ジチオカルバメート重合体を除去するステップと、を含み、前記水銀含有ジチオカルバメート重合体が水溶性である、方法。
- 前記重合体を添加する前に、水銀を含まない水を前記流体に添加するステップをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記重合体を添加する前に、乳化剤を前記流体に添加することをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記重合体を添加した後に、乳化破壊剤を前記流体に添加することをさらに含む、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 固液分離装置の使用を除外する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記炭化水素含有流体がナフサ、灯油、軽油、常圧残渣、天然ガス凝縮物、液化天然ガス、またはそれらの組み合わせを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記水銀含有種が水銀元素、塩化第2水銀、硫化第2水銀、セレン化第2水銀、アスファルトおよび硫黄含有複合体ならびに化合物、ならびにそれらの組み合わせからなるリストから選択されるものである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記水銀結合部位の数が前記水銀原子の数を少なくとも30%超える、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 水銀元素を荷電水銀に変換することをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記方法が、
前記炭化水素含有流体を、水銀と反応性である、少なくとも1つの硫黄原子を含有する有機化合物と混合して水銀含有水溶性反応生成物を含む混合物を形成することであって、前記有機化合物が担体固体上に支持されておらず、硫化イソブチレン、ジチオカルバメート、アルキルジチオカルバメート、硫化オレフィン、チオフェン、モノおよびジチオ有機酸、ならびにモノおよびジチオエステルからなる群から選択されることと、前記混合物から前記水銀含有水溶性反応生成物を分離して、前記炭化水素含有流体と比較して水銀濃度が低い、液体炭化水素を生成することと、をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
