Description

The present invention relates to a shape of a contact terminal incorporated in a switch, particularly an electromagnetic relay or the like.

Conventionally, as a shape of a contact terminal incorporated in a switch, for example, a yoke, a pair of auxiliary yokes, an electromagnet block, a contact block, and a body are provided, and the contact block is provided within an end dimension of the yoke. In addition, there is a relay characterized in that both ends of the yoke are magnetically coupled to the auxiliary yoke and are fitted and fixed to the body (see Patent Document 1).

In particular, as shown in FIG. 2, the relay has an electromagnet block 2 formed by winding a coil 6 and a fixed contact member 14 provided with a fixed contact 17 mounted on a body 4. Yes.

However, in the relay described above, the fixed contact member 14 having a pair of corners at the tip is disposed in the vicinity of the coil 6 of the electromagnet block 2, so that the insulation distance is short and the insulation characteristics are low. Further, the contact wear powder generated when the contact is opened and closed adheres to and accumulates on the inner surfaces of the base and the case, so that the fixed contact member 14 provided with the fixed contact 17 and the movable contact 15 are provided via the wear powder. The movable contact spring 13 is easily short-circuited electrically, resulting in insulation deterioration.
Furthermore, since the corner portion is present at the tip of the fixed contact member 14, it is easy to discharge and the impulse withstand voltage value is low. And since the corner | angular part exists in the front-end | tip part of the said fixed contact member 14, parts in the middle of an assembly mutually damage each other, and there exists a problem that a foreign material generate | occur | produces.

In view of the above problems, the present invention is to provide a switch that is excellent in insulation characteristics, hardly discharges, and hardly generates foreign matter.

The switch according to the present invention is to solve the above problems.
A switch that integrates a round contact with a contact terminal located in the base,
The contact terminal is
A terminal portion having one end held in the base;
A contact piece extending from the other end of the contact terminal in a direction orthogonal to the direction in which the terminal extends.
A round contact provided at the tip of the contact piece;
A pair that is juxtaposed along the extending direction of the contact piece with the terminal portion in between, and extends in the same direction along the plate thickness direction of the contact piece, and is press-fitted into the base. And press-fitting ribs ,
The contact piece is
The tip having an arc shape along the outer peripheral edge of the round contact;
The width of the contact piece from the base of the contact piece to the round contact is narrower than the diameter of the round contact.

According to the present invention, since there are no corners as in the conventional example, the insulation distance is increased, the insulation characteristics are improved, the discharge is difficult, and the drop of the impulse withstand voltage value can be prevented.

In addition, since the free end of the contact terminal has an arc shape, a switch is obtained in which parts do not damage each other and foreign matter is not easily generated.

As an embodiment of the present invention, the tip edge portion of the contact terminal and the round contact may be flush with each other.

According to the present embodiment, the insulation distance is further shortened, the insulation characteristics are improved, the discharge is more difficult to discharge, and the impulse withstand voltage value is increased.

A retaining protrusion 45 is provided on the lower edge of the rotating arm 44, and a large number of protrusions 46 are provided in parallel on the front end 44a on the back side by pressing. The protrusion 46 is provided in order to prevent the movable iron piece 40 and the gate-type iron core 30 from being fixed due to the adhesive substance generated by the arc.
The rotating arm portion 44 does not necessarily have an L shape, and may be a shape in which the tip end portion of the rotating arm portion 44 is bent, or may be a simple strip shape.

When the electromagnet portion 20 and the movable iron piece 40 are assembled to the base 10, the shaft portion 41 of the movable iron piece 40 is positioned on the bearing portion 25 a provided on the flange portion 25 of the spool 21, and the portal iron The movable iron piece 40 is superposed on the core 30. And the front-end | tip part of the leg parts 31 and 32 of the portal iron core 30 is press-fit in the press-fit recessed parts 14 and 15 of the said base 10, and the crushing protrusions 14a and 15a provided in the said press-fit recessed parts 14 and 15 are used. Crush. Thereby, the front-end | tip part of the said leg parts 31 and 32 is each pressed against the inner surface of the said press-fit recessed parts 14 and 15, and is positioned (refer FIG. 5B). At the same time, the protrusion 34 provided on the portal iron core 30 is fitted into the positioning recess 11 a (FIG. 2) provided on the insulating wall 11. Further, the shaft portion 42 of the movable iron piece 40 is in a loosely fitting state in which the shaft portion 42 can be rotated to the bearing portion 16b of the base 10 and the retaining protrusion 45 is fitted into the retaining hole 16a of the base 10 to prevent the slipping. .

When the electromagnet portion 20 is assembled to the base 10, as shown in FIGS. 5A, 5B, and 5C, the flange portions 24 and 25 of the spool 21 are not in contact with the insulating wall 11 of the base 10, and are portal-shaped. Only the iron core 30 is in contact with the base 10. For this reason, since the assembly error of the electromagnet part 20 with respect to the base 10 is small and the positioning accuracy is high, there is an advantage that a support strength as designed can be secured and an electromagnetic relay with good operating characteristics can be obtained.

As shown in FIG. 15, the card 50 has a shape that can be stored in the recess 12 of the base 10, and has an operation projection 52 protruding from the bottom surface of the insulating recess 51 provided in the center of the front surface. The insulating recess 51 has an outer dimension that can be fitted into the rectangular annular rib 13a of the base 10 (FIG. 4C). On the other hand, the card 50 has a pair of insulating ribs 53 and 53 projecting from the upper and lower edges of the back surface thereof, and a protrusion 54 that abuts a movable contact piece 62 described later on the same axis as the operation protrusion 52. Is provided. The insulating rib 53 is used to increase the insulation distance by partitioning the upper and lower edges of the movable contact piece 62 described later (FIG. 4C). Further, the card 50 is provided with a notch portion 55 fitted to the support protrusion 12a provided on the base 10 at one side edge portion thereof.
Therefore, the operation protrusion 52 and the notch 55 of the card 50 can be assembled to the operation hole 13 and the support protrusion 12a of the base 10, respectively.

As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the contact mechanism unit 60 includes a movable contact terminal 61 and a fixed contact terminal 70.
As shown in FIG. 16, the movable contact terminal 61 has a movable contact 63 fixed by caulking to a free end portion of a movable contact piece 62 extending laterally from a side edge thereof. While the press-fitting tongue piece 64 is cut and raised at the upper edge of the base of the movable contact piece 62, the press-fitting tongue piece 65 is cut and raised from the lower edge and the terminal portion 66 is extended. It is. The terminal portion 66 has two folding margins punched out by press working and folds the upper edge of the bending margin to form a seal stopper 67. It should be noted that the movable contact piece 62 has an improved insulating characteristic by cutting off a corner portion of the tip portion and lengthening an insulation distance through an inner surface of the base 10 with a fixed contact terminal 70 described later.

Then, the press-fitting tongue pieces 64 and 65 of the movable contact terminal 61 are press-fitted into the press-fitting grooves 19 a and 19 b of the base 10, and the base portion of the terminal portion 66 is fitted into the movable contact terminal notch portion 18 a of the base 10. Match. As a result, the seal stopper 67 of the movable contact terminal 61 closes the notch 18a (FIG. 6B), while the movable contact piece 62 contacts the protrusion 54 of the card 50.

As shown in FIG. 17, the fixed contact terminal 70 has a fixed contact 72 caulked and fixed to the tip of a fixed contact piece 71 extending laterally from the side edge of the fixed contact terminal 70. The portion 73 extends, and press-fitting ribs 74 and 74 are cut and raised from both side edges. Further, a seal stopper 75 is provided on the back side of the base portion of the terminal portion 73 by a protruding process. The fixed contact piece 71 has an arcuate shape along the outer periphery of the fixed contact 72, and the edge of the fixed contact piece 71 is cut away so as to be flush with the fixed contact 72. This is because the insulation distance between the movable contact terminal 61 via the inner surface of the base 10 and the insulation distance between the coil terminals 37 and 38 are increased to improve the insulation characteristics.

The press-fitting ribs 74 and 74 of the fixed contact terminal 70 are press-fitted into the press-fitting grooves 19 c and 19 c of the base 10, and the upper end portion 76 is positioned on the positioning step portion 17 provided on the insulating wall 11, and the terminal portion The base 73 is fitted into the notch 18b for the fixed contact terminal. Next, by injecting and solidifying a seal material (not shown) into the seal reservoir 17 a provided in the positioning step portion 17, the fixed contact terminal 70 is fixed to the base 10, and the fixed contact 72 is moved to the movable contact 63. Opposite to and away from.
Normally, the contact wear powder generated when the contact is opened and closed adheres to the inner surface of the base 10 and accumulates, whereby the fixed contact and the movable contact are easily short-circuited, and the insulation deteriorates. On the other hand, according to the present invention, the tip of the movable contact piece 62 and the tip of the fixed contact piece 71 are cut off. For this reason, the insulation distance between the fixed contact 72 and the base 10 (the inner surface of the recess 12) or the insulation distance between the movable contact 63 and the base 10 (the inner surface of the recess 12) can be increased, and insulation deterioration can be prevented. There are advantages.

As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the case 80 has a box shape that can be fitted to the base 10, and has a hole 81 at a corner of the upper surface thereof. In addition, as shown in FIG. 18, the case 80 is integrally formed with positioning protrusions 82 at the corners of the ceiling surface to contact the taper portion 24c (FIG. 1) of the spool 21 and prevent erroneous insertion. It is. Further, the case 80 has a step portion 83 for avoiding problems caused by the gate at the time of molding at the corner on the short side of the ceiling surface.

Then, after fitting the case 80 to the base 10 to which the internal components are assembled, a sealing material (not shown) is injected and solidified on the bottom surface of the base 10 for sealing. When the case 80 is fitted to the base 10, the seal stopper 75 of the fixed contact terminal 70 is positioned near the inner surface of the case 80. For this reason, the seal stopper 67 provided on the movable contact terminal 61 and the seal stopper 75 provided on the fixed contact terminal 70 prevent the intrusion of the sealing material, thereby preventing the occurrence of malfunction and contact failure.
Subsequently, the hole 81 of the case 80 is heat sealed to complete the assembly operation.

Next, the operation of the electromagnetic relay according to the present invention will be described.
When no voltage is applied to the coil 39 of the electromagnet unit 20, the card 50 is biased toward the insulating wall 11 by the spring force of the movable contact piece 62, and the movable contact 63 is separated from the fixed contact 72. On the other hand, the tip 44a of the rotating arm 44 of the movable iron piece 40 is separated from the portal iron core 30 (FIG. 13A).

When a voltage is applied to the coil 39 of the electromagnet portion 20 to excite it, the distal end portion 44a of the rotating arm portion 44 of the movable iron piece 40 is attracted, and the movable iron piece 40 rotates about the shaft portions 41 and 42. . When the rotating arm portion 44 pushes the operation protrusion 52 of the card 50 at the pressing point P (FIG. 13B), a torsional moment about the line connecting the shaft portion 41 and the pressing point P acts. For this reason, while the axial part 42 leaves | separates from the portal iron core 30, the front-end edge part of the extension part 47 extended from the front-end | tip part 44a of the movable iron piece 40 approaches the portal iron core 30 (FIG. 13C). Next, the leading edge of the extending portion 47 is attracted to the portal iron core 30 to be in a stable state (FIG. 13D). As a result, the card 50 is pushed to the final position, and the movable contact 63 of the movable contact piece 62 displaced in the plate thickness direction comes into contact with the fixed contact 72.

In this embodiment, since the shallow groove 33 which is a magnetic flux density reduction means is provided on the lower side of the leg portion 32 of the portal iron core 30, the magnetic resistance increases and the magnetic flux density decreases. For this reason, when a torsional moment acts on the movable iron piece 40, the shaft part 42 of the movable iron piece 40 moves away from the portal iron core 30 at the initial stage of the stroke. As a result, there is an advantage that there is no variation in the operating voltage and an electromagnetic relay having stable operating characteristics can be obtained.
The means for reducing the magnetic flux density is not limited to the shallow groove 33, and for example, a protrusion may be provided, or a nonmagnetic material such as a magnetic shielding plate or copper plating may be used.
Further, the means for reducing the magnetic flux density may be provided in both or either one of the portal iron core 30 and the movable iron piece 40.
Further, the means for reducing the magnetic flux density may be a combination of the aforementioned shallow groove 33, protrusions, magnetic shielding plate, and nonmagnetic material. For example, the shallow groove 33 and the nonmagnetic material are provided in the portal iron core 30. It may be configured.

Next, when the application of the voltage of the coil 39 is stopped, the card 50 is pushed back by the spring force of the movable contact piece 62, and the operation protrusion 52 of the card 50 pushes back the rotating arm portion 44 of the movable iron piece 40, Return to the state.

In the second embodiment according to the present invention, as shown in FIG. 19, a seal stopper portion 67 is formed on the back side of the base portion of the terminal portion 66 of the movable contact terminal 61 by extrusion, and is reinforced to the fixed contact terminal 70. This is a case where the protrusion 77 is formed by extrusion processing.
According to this embodiment, there is an advantage that the yield of the material is good and the manufacturing is easy.
Others are the same as those in the above-described embodiment, and thus the same parts are denoted by the same reference numerals and description thereof is omitted.

In the third embodiment according to the present invention, as shown in FIG. 20, the seal stopper 67 is formed by cutting out from the base side edge of the terminal portion 66 of the movable contact terminal 61 and bending it. .
According to the present embodiment, there is an advantage that the long seal stopper 67 approaches the inner surface of the case 80, and the intrusion of the sealing material can be prevented more reliably.
Others are the same as those in the above-described embodiment, and thus the same parts are denoted by the same reference numerals and description thereof is omitted.

In the fourth embodiment according to the present invention, as shown in FIG. 21, a through hole which is a seal stopper 67 is formed by punching on the back side of the base portion of the terminal portion 66 of the movable contact terminal 61.
According to this embodiment, there is an advantage that the yield of the material is good and the manufacturing is easy.

In the fifth embodiment according to the present invention, as shown in FIG. 22, the inner surface of the case 80 is formed by cutting and bending from the edge portion on the back side of the base portion of the terminal portion 73 provided on the fixed contact terminal 70. This is a case where a long elastic seal stopper 75 is formed.
According to the present embodiment, there is an advantage that the long elastic seal stopper 75 approaches the inner side surface of the case 80 and the sealing material can be more reliably prevented from entering.

As shown in FIGS. 23 to 25, the sixth embodiment according to the present invention is substantially the same as the first embodiment described above, and a difference is that a twin contact structure is adopted.
That is, as shown in FIGS. 24 and 25, the tip of the movable contact piece 62 is divided into two in the width direction to provide divided pieces 62a and 62a, and a movable contact 63a is provided at the free end of the divided piece 62a. It is provided. On the other hand, by providing a rod-like fixed contact 72 at the free end of the fixed contact piece 71, a crossbar contact structure is obtained. According to this embodiment, there exists an advantage that an electromagnetic relay with high contact reliability is obtained.
The other parts are almost the same as those of the first embodiment, and the same parts are denoted by the same reference numerals and the description thereof is omitted.

The magnetic characteristics of the electromagnetic relay according to this example were measured. The measurement results are shown in FIG. 14A. On the other hand, the magnetic characteristics of the electromagnetic relay according to the conventional example were measured in the same manner. The measurement results are shown in FIG. 14B.
In the graphs of FIGS. 14A and 14B, the vertical axis represents the load applied to the pressing point P, and the horizontal axis represents the stroke that is the amount of movement of the card. The right end side of the graph shows a state where no voltage is applied to the coil, that is, a state where the card is not moving. Then, as the graph moves to the left side of the graph, a voltage is applied to the coil and the card moves.

In this invention, the axial part 42 of the movable iron piece 40 leaves | separates from the leg part 32 of the portal iron core 30, and the front-end edge part of the extension part 47 approaches the leg part 31 of the portal iron core 30 (FIG. 13C). For this reason, as apparent from FIG. 14A, the magnetic force generated by the coil indicated by the dotted line increases rapidly in the initial stage of the stroke. On the other hand, in the conventional example shown in FIG. 14B, the point at which the magnetic force suddenly rises is slow.
That is, in the present invention, by providing the magnetic flux density reducing means, the shaft portion 42 of the movable iron piece 40 can be easily separated from the leg portion 32 of the portal iron core 30, so that the magnetic force can be rapidly increased at the initial stage of the stroke. . As a result, variation in operating voltage can be prevented, and an electromagnetic relay having stable operating characteristics can be obtained.
Moreover, if the position where the magnetic force suddenly increases is too slow, the spring load acting on the pressing point P indicated by the alternate long and short dash line is larger than the magnetic force by the coil, which may cause inoperability, and this can be prevented. .

Needless to say, the electromagnetic relay according to the present invention is not limited to the above-described electromagnetic relay but can be applied to other electromagnetic relays.
