Claims (23)
- 炭化水素生産時に、塩化ナトリウムの結晶化および析出のうちの少なくとも一方を抑制するために既存の地下坑井に注入される水の量を低減する方法であって、前記方法は、
処理水と混合されるべき混合位置に、貯蔵タンクからアスパラギン酸系ポリマーを加える工程と、
前記アスパラギン酸系ポリマーと前記処理水との混合物を前記混合位置から前記地下坑井にポンプ輸送する工程と、
炭化水素と随伴水とを含む地層流体を前記地下坑井からポンプ輸送する工程と、
随伴水のイオン濃度を監視する工程と、
塩化ナトリウムの結晶化および析出のうちの少なくとも一方を抑制する工程と、
を含む、方法。 - 前記アスパラギン酸系ポリマーは、前記アスパラギン酸系ポリマーのコポリマー、前記アスパラギン酸系ポリマーのターポリマー、アスパラギン酸系ポリマー誘導体、エンドキャップを有するアスパラギン酸系ポリマー、および前記アスパラギン酸系ポリマーの可溶塩のうちの1つ以上を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記アスパラギン酸系ポリマーは、ポリスクシンイミドおよびポリスクシンイミドの誘導体のうちの少なくとも一方である、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記アスパラギン酸系ポリマーは少なくとも1種の二塩基酸から形成される、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも1種の二塩基酸は、L−アスパラギン酸、無水マレイン酸、フマル酸、グルタミン酸、グルタル酸、アジピン酸、コハク酸、酒石酸、リンゴ酸、およびマレアミド酸のうちの少なくとも1つである、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記アスパラギン酸系ポリマーはポリアスパラギン酸ナトリウム塩である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記地下坑井にアスパラギン酸系ポリマーを加えることは、前記随伴水の量に対応する濃度にてアスパラギン酸系ポリマーを提供することをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記アスパラギン酸系ポリマーの濃度は、1パーツ・パー・ミリオン(ppm)〜1000ppmの範囲内にある、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記アスパラギン酸系ポリマーの濃度は、1パーツ・パー・ミリオン(ppm)〜1000ppmの範囲内にあるポリアスパラギン酸誘導体およびポリアスパラギン酸塩のうちの少なくとも一方の濃度を含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記処理水は少なくとも1つの水源からの水を含み、前記少なくとも1つの水源は、表層水源、井戸水源、再生水源、排水源、生産水源および破砕流体源のうちの1つ以上を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記地下坑井に注入される処理水の量を5パーセント〜95パーセント低減することをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 炭化水素生産時に、既存の地下坑井における塩化ナトリウムの結晶化および析出のうちの少なくとも一方を抑制する方法であって、前記方法は、
処理水を混合位置へポンプ輸送する工程と、
前記混合位置にてアスパラギン酸系ポリマーを前記処理水中に混合する工程と、
前記混合した処理水とアスパラギン酸系ポリマーとを前記地下坑井にポンプ輸送する工程と、
随伴水のイオン濃度を監視する工程と、
前記処理水中における前記アスパラギン酸系ポリマーの濃度を少なくとも部分的に前記随伴水のイオン濃度に基づいて調節する工程と、
塩化ナトリウムの結晶化および析出のうちの少なくとも一方を抑制する工程と、
を含む、方法。 - 前記混合した処理水と前記アスパラギン酸系ポリマーとを所定の第1注入量で地下坑井に注入することと、
前記混合した処理水と前記アスパラギン酸系ポリマーとの前記地下坑井への前記第1注入量を第2注入量に調節することと、を含み、第2注入量は第1注入量未満である、請求項12に記載の方法。 - 前記アスパラギン酸系ポリマーは、前記処理水とともに、1パーツ・パー・ミリオン(ppm)〜1000ppmの濃度で、前記地下坑井に提供される、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記アスパラギン酸系ポリマーは、25パーツ・パー・ミリオン(ppm)〜500ppmの前記処理水中におけるアスパラギン酸系ポリマーの所定濃度をもたらす量で前記地下坑井に提供され得る、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記地下坑井に関連する層マトリックス内および前記地下坑井に関連する設備上のうちの少なくとも一方における塩化ナトリウムスケールを抑制することをさらに含む、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 炭酸カルシウムスケール形成および硫酸バリウムスケール形成のうちの少なくとも一方を抑制することを含む、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記アスパラギン酸系ポリマーは、ポリスクシンイミドおよびポリスクシンイミドの誘導体のうちの少なくとも一方である、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 炭化水素生産時に、既存の地下坑井における塩化ナトリウムの結晶化および析出のうちの少なくとも一方を最小限にするためのシステムであって、該システムは、
処理水を含む処理水貯蔵タンクと、
アスパラギン酸系ポリマーを含む貯蔵タンクと、
前記処理水と前記アスパラギン酸系ポリマーとを所定の濃度にて混合するように構成された混合位置と、
前記地下坑井における塩化ナトリウムの結晶化および析出のうちの少なくとも一方を少なくとも部分的に抑制するために、前記処理水と前記アスパラギン酸系ポリマーとの混合物を前記地下坑井に提供するための手段と、
随伴水貯蔵タンクであって、同随伴水貯蔵タンク中の随伴水のイオン濃度を測定するためのセンサーを含む随伴水貯蔵タンクと、を含む、システム。 - 請求項19に記載のシステムは制御装置をさらに備え、前記制御装置は、前記地下坑井に提供される処理水の流量を制御するため、および前記地下坑井に提供される処理水中におけるアスパラギン酸系ポリマーの濃度を制御するため、のうちの少なくとも一方のためのものである、システム。
- 前記制御装置は、前記地下坑井に提供される処理水の流量および前記アスパラギン酸系ポリマーの濃度のうちの少なくとも一方を調節することにより、水源から用いられる処理水の量を最小限にするように構成されている、請求項20に記載のシステム。
- 前記地下坑井から地層流体を得るように構成されたポンプをさらに備える、請求項19に記載のシステム。
- 前記処理水と前記アスパラギン酸系ポリマーとの組み合わせは、前記ポンプに関連した表面上および前記地下坑井に関連する層マトリックス内のうちの少なくとも一方におけるスケール形成を最小限にする、請求項22に記載のシステム。
