- 請求項1に記載のシールドされたガラススカフォールドにおいて、前記ビーズの90%が、30〜425μmの直径であることを特徴とする、シールドされたガラススカフォールド。
- 請求項1に記載のシールドされたガラススカフォールドにおいて、10〜50%の繊維と40〜90%のビーズが存在することを特徴とする、シールドされたガラススカフォールド。
- 請求項1に記載のシールドされたガラススカフォールドにおいて、25%の繊維と75%のビーズが存在することを特徴とする、シールドされたガラススカフォールド。
- シールドされたガラススカフォールドを調製する方法であって、
1)生体活性ガラスビーズを生体活性ガラス繊維と混合し、凝集物を形成する工程と、
2)前記凝集物を焼結する工程と、
3)前記焼結凝集物を、3600°F(1982°C)〜5100°F(2815°C)の温度を有する火炎を通して落下させて、ガラス状の外表面を形成する工程と、
4)前記生じたシールドされたガラススカフォールドを冷却し回収する工程と、を含むことを特徴とする、方法。 - 請求項1に記載のシールドされたガラススカフォールドにおいて、前記凝集物が、
骨ラップと、
複合材料と、
骨又は軟組織パテと、
止血装置と、
整形外科又は脊椎関連インプラントと、
外部包帯と、
骨セメント又は骨にかわとからなる群から選択されるスカフォールドであることを特徴とする、シールドされたガラススカフォールド。 - シールドされたガラススカフォールドを調製する方法であって、
1)生体活性ガラスビーズと繊維から、生体活性ガラス凝集物を形成する工程と、
2)坩堝内に配置し、900°C〜1100°Cに10分〜20分の時間にわたって加熱し、次いで冷却して、焼結凝集物を形成する工程と、
3)前記焼結凝集物を、火炎を通して落下させる工程と、
4)冷却してシールドされたガラススカフォールドを形成する工程と、を含むことを特徴とする、方法。 - 請求項11に記載の方法において、中央の円筒状軸方向開口部が、坩堝内に形成されることを特徴とする、方法。
- 請求項11に記載の方法において、前記ガラス粉末が、90%が53μm未満の25μmの平均粒径に破砕されることを特徴とする、方法。
- シールドされたガラススカフォールドを調製する方法であって、
1)生体活性ガラスビーズと繊維から、生体活性ガラス繊維および粒子凝集物を形成する工程と、
2)坩堝内に配置し、前記ガラス転移温度よりも高い温度かつ前記ガラス融解温度よりも低い温度に加熱し、次いで冷却して、焼結凝集物を形成する工程と、
3)前記焼結凝集物を、3600°F(1982°C)〜5600°F(2815°C)の温度を有する火炎を通して落下させる工程と、
4)前記生じたシールドされたガラススカフォールドを冷却し回収する工程と、を含むことを特徴とする、方法。 - 請求項14に記載の方法において、前記シールドされたガラススカフォールドが、結晶化するために更なる加熱処理を受けることを特徴とする、方法。
- 請求項14に記載の方法において、前記焼結凝集物が、
骨ラップと、
複合材料と、
骨又は軟組織パテと、
止血装置と、
整形外科又は脊椎関連インプラントと、
外部包帯と、
骨セメント又は骨にかわとからなる群から選択されるスカフォールドを形成するよう利用されることを特徴とする、方法。 - 請求項14に記載の方法において、前記ガラス繊維及び粒子が、90%が53μm未満の25μmの平均粒径に破砕されることを特徴とする、方法。
- 請求項14に記載の方法において、中央の円筒状軸方向開口部が、坩堝内に形成されることを特徴とする、方法。
- ガラススカフォールドを調製する方法であって、
1)2つ以上の異なるガラス組成物から生体活性ガラス凝集物を形成する工程と、
2)前記生体活性ガラス凝集物を前記ガラス転移温度よりも高い温度かつ前記ガラス融解温度よりも低い温度に加熱し、次いで冷却して、焼結凝集物を形成する工程と、を含むことを特徴とする方法。
