Description

The present invention relates to an absorbent article manufacturing apparatus, and more particularly, to an absorbent article manufacturing apparatus that delivers an elastic member in a stretched state with respect to a web constituting the absorbent article.

In an absorbent article such as a disposable worn article, an elastic member is disposed in order to enhance the fit to the wearer's body. An elastic member is delivered in the state extended with respect to the web which comprises an absorbent article. Patent Document 1 and Patent Document 2 describe an absorbent article manufacturing apparatus that delivers an elastic member to a web in a stretched state.

The absorbent article manufacturing apparatus disclosed in Patent Literature 1 includes a pair of circular rotating bodies that convey an elastic member along an outer peripheral surface, and a pair of belt members disposed along the outer peripheral surface of each rotating body. . Moreover, the manufacturing apparatus of the absorbent article of patent document 2 is provided with a pair of circular rotary body which conveys an elastic member along an outer peripheral surface, and the pin member which protruded from the outer peripheral surface of the rotary body. The pair of rotating bodies are arranged with an elastic member sandwiched in an intersecting direction orthogonal to the transport direction, and are in contact with ends of the elastic member in the intersecting direction.

The pair of rotators are configured to convey the elastic member from a first position located upstream in the carrying direction toward a second position located downstream in the carrying direction. The distance in the crossing direction of the pair of rotating bodies is longer at the second position than at the first position. Therefore, the elastic member is extended in the crossing direction in the process of being conveyed along the outer peripheral surface of the rotating body.

However, the above-described absorbent article manufacturing apparatus has the following problems.

The absorbent article manufacturing apparatus of Patent Document 1 holds an elastic member between an outer peripheral surface of a rotating body and a belt member. Therefore, the portion of the elastic member sandwiched between the rotating body and the belt member is difficult to extend. Therefore, it may be difficult to extend the entire elastic member.

Moreover, the manufacturing apparatus of the absorbent article of patent document 2 inserts a pin in an elastic member, and hold | maintains an elastic member. Further, when the extended elastic member is transferred to the web, the elastic member is pulled out from the pin member and transferred to the web by using a belt member that contacts the elastic member at the second position. However, since the pin member is disposed so as to protrude toward the elastic member, the pin member may not be smoothly removed from the elastic member, and the elastic member may not be smoothly delivered to the web.

Therefore, the present invention has been made in view of such a situation, and is capable of smoothly delivering the elastic member to the web constituting the absorbent article in a state where the entire elastic member is extended. It aims at providing the manufacturing apparatus of a property article.

In order to solve the above-described problems, the present invention extends in a cross direction (cross direction CD) orthogonal to the transport direction (transport direction MD) while transporting the belt-shaped elastic member (elastic member 5) constituting the absorbent article. An absorbent article manufacturing apparatus (absorbent article manufacturing apparatus 1) to be brought into contact with both end portions (end portions 5A, 5B) of the elastic member in the intersecting direction from a first position that receives the elastic member. Passes through a pair of conveying members (conveying member 10) that conveys the elastic member to a second position that delivers the elastic member to the web constituting the absorbent article, and the first position and the second position. A pair of conveyance drive members (conveyance drive member 20) for moving the conveyance member along the conveyance path to be carried, and the conveyance member has a contact surface (contact surface 11a) that contacts the elastic member. Support member (support member 1 And a pin member (pin member 12) that protrudes from the contact surface through a hole (pin hole portion 11b) formed in the contact surface and is hooked on the elastic member that contacts the contact surface. And a relative movement member (relative movement member 30) that moves at least one of the support member and the pin member relative to the other, the pair of transport drive members, The distance between the transport drive members in the intersecting direction is arranged to be longer at the second position than at the first position, and the relative movement member is at least one of the support member and the pin member. The pin member is moved along the axial direction of the hole portion of the contact surface by moving one relative to the other, and the pin member protrudes from the contact surface of the support member; ,Previous It said pin member and the inside than the contact surface of the support member is summarized in that to achieve a state of being disposed.

The pair of conveying members abut each of the end portions in the crossing direction of the elastic members, and convey the elastic members from the first position where the elastic members are received toward the second position where the elastic members are transferred to the web. The distance in the intersecting direction between the pair of transport driving members that move the transport member is configured so that the second position is longer than the first position. Therefore, the elastic member is extended in the crossing direction in the process of being conveyed from the first position to the second position. The elastic member can be transferred to the web in a stretched state.

Moreover, it is comprised so that the state which the pin member protruded from the contact surface of the support member, and the state in which the pin member was arrange | positioned inside the contact surface of a support member may be implement | achieved. Therefore, when the elastic member is held, the pin member is protruded from the contact surface to support the elastic member, and when the elastic member is transferred to the web, the pin member is disposed on the inner side of the contact surface. Thus, the elastic member can be smoothly separated from the conveying member. Therefore, the extended elastic member can be smoothly transferred to the web.

The pin member is disposed on the surface of the elastic member on the support member side. The elastic member is not held in a state where both surfaces are sandwiched. Since the elastic member is held without being sandwiched between the two members, the entire elastic member can be stretched substantially uniformly as compared with a configuration in which the elastic member is stretched while being sandwiched between the members.

(2) Manufacturing method of absorbent article Next, the manufacturing method of the absorbent article which concerns on this embodiment is demonstrated. The manufacturing method of an absorbent article includes at least a component part forming step, a component part placing step, a leg periphery forming step, and a cutting step.

In addition, between each process, the liquid-permeable 1st web which comprises the surface sheet 3 and the liquid-impermeable 2nd web which comprises the exterior sheet | seat 4 with a conveyance apparatus (for example, belt conveyor apparatus) not shown. Etc. are conveyed in conveyance direction MD.

In the component part forming step, the component parts constituting the absorbent article such as the first web and the second web are formed. Specifically, the waist elastic member 5 is attached to the first web constituting the top sheet in a state of being stretched in the width direction. The attaching process of the waist elastic member 5 will be described in detail later.

In the component placing step, the components constituting the absorbent article 1 such as the elastic member, the third web, the waterproof sheet, the absorbent body, and the first web are placed on the second web.

(3) Configuration of Absorbent Article Manufacturing Apparatus Next, the absorbent article manufacturing apparatus 1 that performs the attaching step of the waist elastic member 5 in the above-described absorbent article manufacturing method will be described in detail. FIG. 2 is a front view showing the absorbent article manufacturing apparatus 1. FIG. 3 is a perspective view showing the absorbent article manufacturing apparatus 1. FIG. 4 is a plan view of an absorbent article manufacturing apparatus. FIG. 4 is a bottom view of the absorbent article manufacturing apparatus 1. For convenience of explanation, the transport drive member is illustrated only in FIG. 2 and is omitted in other drawings.

The manufacturing apparatus 1 for absorbent articles according to the present embodiment has the topsheet 3 in a state where the elastic member 5 is extended in the cross direction CD orthogonal to the conveyance direction while conveying the belt-shaped elastic member 5 in the conveyance direction MD. It is an apparatus which delivers the elastic member 5 with respect to the web which comprises. The conveyance direction is the vertical direction shown in FIG. 1, and the crossing direction is the horizontal direction shown in FIG.

The absorbent article manufacturing apparatus 1 includes a pair of transport members 10, a pair of transport drive members 20, and a pair of relative movement members 30. The conveyance member 10, the conveyance drive member 20, and the relative movement member 30 constituting the absorbent article manufacturing apparatus 1 pass through the center of the cross direction CD shown in FIG. 1 and are symmetrical with respect to the center line CL along the conveyance direction MD. They are arranged symmetrically about the axis.

The transport driving member 20 has a pair of rotating bodies 22 that rotate about a rotating shaft 21. Two conveying members 10 are connected to each of the pair of rotating bodies 22. The conveying member 10 moves in the rotation direction as the rotating body 22 rotates.

The rotating shaft 21 of the rotating body 22 extends in the cross direction CD and is inclined downward (downstream in the transport direction) from the outside in the cross direction CD toward the inside in the cross direction CD. The pair of rotating shafts 21 is non-parallel at a viewpoint from a straight line that is orthogonal to the transport direction MD and orthogonal to the intersecting direction CD.

Since the pair of rotating bodies 22 rotate around the pair of rotating shafts 21 arranged non-parallel, the distance in the cross direction CD between the rotating bodies 22 changes. Specifically, the distance in the cross direction CD between the rotating bodies 22 on the lower side shown in FIG. 1 is longer than the distance in the cross direction CD between the rotating bodies 22 on the upper side.

In the present embodiment, the position of the upper conveying member in FIG. 1 that is upstream in the conveying direction is the first position that receives the elastic member 5 from an elastic member supply member (not shown), and is downstream in the conveying direction. The position of the lower conveying member is the second position for delivering the elastic member 5 to the web.

In FIG. 1, the upper conveying member 10 is in the first position, and the lower conveying member 10 is in the second position. Further, the plan view shown in FIG. 3 shows the conveying member at the first position, and the bottom view shown in FIG. 4 shows the conveying member at the second position.

The transport member 10 is connected to a rotating body 22 that constitutes a transport driving member, and moves in the rotation direction as the rotating body 22 rotates. The conveyance member 10 conveys an elastic member from the 1st position which receives an elastic member to the 2nd position which delivers an elastic member with respect to the web which comprises an absorbent article.

The pair of transport members 10 are connected via a suction pad 11 as a support member having a contact surface 11a that contacts each end of the elastic member in the intersecting direction, and a hole portion 11b formed in the contact surface 11a. A pin member 12 that protrudes from the contact surface 11a and is hooked by an elastic member that contacts the contact surface, a slide manifold block 13 that is disposed radially inward of the rotating body with respect to the suction pad 11, and a slide manifold block 13 A linear guide 14, a linear block 15 and a linear mounting bracket 16 which are slidably arranged, a cam follower 17 which is attached to the slide manifold block 13 and engages 32 with a cam groove of a cam 31 as a relative movement member which will be described later, Respectively.

The suction pad 11, the slide manifold block 13, and the cam follower 17 are integrated and move together. The suction pad 11, the slide manifold block 13, and the cam follower 17 are hereinafter referred to as a first conveying member 10A for convenience of explanation. Moreover, the pin member 12, the linear guide 14, the linear block 15, and the linear mounting bracket 16 are integrated and move together. For convenience of explanation, the pin member 12, the linear guide 14, the linear block 15, and the linear mounting bracket 16 are hereinafter referred to as a second conveying member 10B.

The first transport member 10A and the second transport member 10B are configured to be relatively movable, and slide relative to each other as the transport member rotates through a cam groove 32 described later. The first conveying member 10A and the second conveying member 10B are differently shaded in the conveying member 10 shown in the upper right of FIG.

The suction pad 11 has a contact surface 11a with which the elastic member 5 contacts. A plurality of holes are formed in the contact surface 11a. Among the plurality of holes, some of the holes are pin holes 11b (see 7) through which the pin member 12 is inserted, and the other holes are suction mechanisms (within the slide manifold block 13). This is a suction hole 11c (see FIG. 7) for sucking the elastic member 5 abutted against the abutment surface 11a by a not shown.

The pin member 12 is connected to a plate-like plate portion 12a and protrudes from the plate portion 12a. The pin member 12 is configured to pierce the end portions 5 a and 5 b in the cross direction CD of the elastic member 5 in a state of protruding from the contact surface 11 a of the suction pad 11.

The slide manifold block 13 houses a suction mechanism and a pin member. The slide manifold block 13 moves along the cam groove 32 via the cam follower 17.

The first conveying member 10 </ b> A including the slide manifold block moves along the cam groove 32 via the cam follower 17. On the other hand, the second conveying member 10B is fixed to the rotating body 22, but is not engaged with the cam groove 32 which is a relative moving member. Therefore, the second transport member 10B does not move along the cam groove.

Therefore, when the conveying member 10 moves in the rotation direction along with the rotation of the rotating body 22, the second conveying member 10 </ b> B moves integrally with the rotating body 22, and the first conveying member 10 </ b> A moves along the cam groove 32. While moving, the first transport member 10A and the second transport member 10B move relative to each other in order to move together with the first transport member 10A. The movement modes of the first conveying member 10A and the second conveying member will be described later.

A cam 31 constituting the relative movement member 30 is formed with a substantially circular cam groove 32. The cam groove 32 is disposed on the outer side in the intersecting direction than the rotating body 22 constituting the transport driving member. The cam groove 32 has opposing wall surfaces that guide the cam follower 17. The outer peripheral surface of the cam follower 17 moves along a pair of wall surfaces of the cam groove 32. The cam curve of the cam groove is different from the movement locus of the conveying member by the rotating body 22. The cam curve is provided such that the distance between the rotating body 22 and the rotating shaft 21 changes.

(4) Movement mode of first conveyance member and second conveyance member and sticking operation of elastic member Next, movement mode of first conveyance member and second conveyance member by the above-described absorbent article manufacturing apparatus, and elastic member Will be described in detail. FIG. 6 is a schematic front view for explaining the movement mode of the first conveyance member and the second conveyance member, and FIG. 7 is a schematic cross-sectional view for explaining the movement mode of the suction pad and the pin member.

With the rotation of the rotating body 22, the transport member 10 moves in the rotation direction about the rotation shaft 21. The second conveying member 10 </ b> B among the conveying members 10 is fixed to the rotating body 22 and moves integrally with the rotating body 22. On the other hand, the first conveying member 10 </ b> A is engaged with the cam groove 32 via the cam follower 17 and moves along the cam groove 32.

The cam curve of the cam groove 32 has an elliptical shape that deviates from the rotation locus of the rotating body 22. Therefore, the distance between the cam groove 32 and the rotating shaft 21 of the rotating body 22 changes during the movement process. FIG. 6A shows a state where the distance between the rotating shaft and the cam groove is relatively short, and FIG. 6B shows a state where the distance between the rotating shaft and the cam groove is relatively long. 7A is a cross-sectional view schematically showing the pin member 12 and the suction pad 11 in the state of FIG. 6A, and FIG. 7B is the pin member in the state of FIG. 6B. 12 is a cross-sectional view schematically showing 12 and a suction pad 11. FIG.

The distance LA between the rotating shaft and the cam groove in the state shown in FIG. 6A is shorter than the distance LB between the rotating shaft and the cam groove in the state shown in FIG. Therefore, in the state shown in FIG. 6A, the suction pad 11 is located on the rotating shaft side (in the radial direction of the rotating body). Therefore, the pin member protrudes from the contact surface 11 a of the suction pad 11.

On the other hand, in the state shown in FIG. 6B, the suction pad 11 is located on the side away from the rotating shaft (outside in the radial direction of the rotating body). Therefore, the pin member is disposed radially inward of the contact surface 11a of the suction pad 11.

Since the distance between the rotating shaft 21 and the cam groove 32 changes, the first conveying member 10 </ b> A that moves along the cam groove 32 moves to the rotating body 22 as the distance between the rotating shaft 21 and the cam groove 32 changes. It slides along the radial direction of the rotating body 22 with respect to the fixed second conveying member 10B. Accordingly, the suction pad 11 of the first transport member 10A moves relative to the pin member 12 of the second transport member 10B in the radial direction.

The axial direction of the pin hole portion of the suction pad is along the radial direction. Therefore, the pin member moves along the pin hole portion of the suction pad, and realizes a state in which the pin member protrudes radially outward from the contact surface and a state in which the pin member is disposed radially inward from the contact surface. Therefore, it is possible to realize a state in which the elastic member on the suction pad is pierced and supported by the pin member, and a state in which the elastic member is removed from the elastic member and delivered to the web or the like.

The elastic member supplied from the elastic member supply member is disposed on the contact surface of the suction pad. The elastic member on the contact surface is adsorbed by the suction member through the suction hole. The elastic member is configured so that the distance between the cam groove and the rotation shaft is relatively short at the first position where the elastic member is received (as shown in FIGS. 6A and 7A). Is held by a pin member.

With the elastic member held at the first position, the transport member moves from the first position toward the second position as the rotating body rotates. In the process of moving from the first position to the second position, the distance between the cam groove and the rotating shaft is not changed. In addition, since the distance between the pair of conveying members that hold both ends of the elastic member becomes longer from the first position toward the second position, the elastic member moves from the first position toward the second position. , Stretched in the cross direction. Therefore, the elastic member is conveyed toward the second position while being stretched in the crossing direction while being held by the pin member.

When reaching the second position, the distance between the cam groove and the rotating shaft is increased. Therefore, the pin member is removed from the elastic member at the second position, and the elastic member is transferred to a web (not shown). At this time, the elastic member is smoothly delivered to the web side by stopping the suction by the suction member.

As described above, according to the absorbent article manufacturing apparatus 1 according to the present embodiment, the pin member 12 protrudes from the contact surface 11a of the suction pad 11 and on the inner side of the contact surface 11a. Can be realized.

Further, the conveying member is hooked by the pin member and is attracted to the contact surface side through the suction hole. Both the pin member and the adsorbing member are arranged on the surface of the elastic member on the support member side. The elastic member is not held in a state where both surfaces are sandwiched. Since the elastic member is held without being sandwiched between the two members, the entire elastic member can be stretched substantially uniformly as compared with a configuration in which the elastic member is stretched while being sandwiched between the members.

Furthermore, since the suction mechanism that adsorbs the elastic member is provided, the displacement of the elastic member in the conveyance process can be suppressed as compared with a configuration in which the elastic member is held only by the pin member.

Moreover, the state which the pin member protruded from the contact surface and the state where the pin member was arrange | positioned inside the contact surface are implement | achieved by moving a suction pad. Since the contact surface that contacts the elastic member is moved, when the pin member is pulled out from the state where the pin member is stuck in the elastic member, the pin member can be pulled out while pressing the elastic member by the contact surface. It becomes possible to remove the pin member and transfer it to a web or the like.

(5) Other Embodiments As described above, the contents of the present invention have been disclosed through the embodiments of the present invention. However, it is understood that the description and drawings constituting a part of this disclosure limit the present invention. Should not. From this disclosure, various alternative embodiments, examples and operational techniques will be apparent to those skilled in the art.

For example, in this embodiment, by moving a suction pad as a support member, a state in which the pin member protrudes from the contact surface and a state in which the pin member is disposed on the inner side of the contact surface are realized. However, the pin member may be moved to realize a state in which the pin member protrudes from the contact surface and a state in which the pin member is disposed inside the contact surface. When driving the pin member, for example, when the length of the plurality of pin members in the radial direction is made different and is increased toward the downstream side in the moving direction of the pin member, the entire suction pad is raised and lowered by the cam groove However, the pin member can be inserted and removed at the transfer position.
