Claims (12)
- 埋め込み式のシステムであって、
埋め込み可能なハウジングを有する制御システムと、
前記制御システムに接続する電気リードと、
前記電気リードの遠位端部に隣接した電極構造であって、
血管の外面上に埋め込まれるように構成された電極と、
前記電極よりも大きい有効表面積を有する支持部材と、
ツールと着脱自在に連結する手段であって、前記血管の湾曲した外面において前記電極構造を移動させるように構成されている手段と
を含むものである、前記電極構造と
を有し、
前記制御システムは、前記電極を介して血管壁内の圧受容器に圧反射治療を送達するようにプログラムされているものである、
システム。 - 請求項1に記載のシステムにおいて、前記電極はカソードを有し、前記ハウジングはアノードを有するものであるシステム。

前記一式の命令を処理するプロセッサと

前記プロセッサは、前記一式の命令に基づいて前記電極構造の血管上における適切な埋め込み位置を決定する手段を有し、この手段は、
前記ツールを用いて血管上の第1の位置で圧受容器に隣接するように配置された前記電極に第1の刺激信号を送達する手段と、
前記第1の刺激信号に対する患者の応答を表す第1のセンサ信号を受信する手段と、

前記電極構造が前記血管に接着剤で固定されるように構成されているシステム。 - 請求項1に記載のシステムにおいて、前記着脱自在に連結する手段は、ボールとソケットから構成される継ぎ手のどちらか一方を有するものであるシステム。
