Description
楕円または楕円状の螺旋の楕円率は各々、角膜面の形状に依存し得る。楕円率は、楕円の長軸および短軸の比率であると理解される。
図1は、患者の眼1を治療するためのレーザ手術機器を示しており、前記レーザ手術機器2は屈折率補正を行うのに役立つ。この目的のために、機器2は治療レーザビーム3を患者の眼1に出射し、患者の頭は頭保持部4に固定されている。レーザ手術機器2は、米国特許第6,110,166号で開示された方法を実行可能なパルスレーザビーム3を生成することができる。
物質の除去は対物望遠鏡6によって、角膜5内に位置する焦点7に高エネルギーのパルスレーザビーム3を集束させることで、角膜内の組織層を分離することにより行われる。パルスレーザ光3の各パルスは組織内に光学的穿孔を生成し、前記穿孔がプラズマ気泡8を生じさせる。その結果、組織層の分離は、レーザ光3の焦点7より広い領域をカバーする。レーザビーム3を適切に偏向させると、治療中に多くのプラズマ気泡8が連続的に配置される。それから、連続的に配置されたプラズマ気泡8が切り込み9を形成し、間質の部分的な塊T、つまり角膜5から取り除かれる物質を取り囲む。
平面のコンタクトレンズは数学的境界線の場合を表し、輪郭線走査の概念はここでは経路線の縮退をもたらすが、経路線は閉じているとみなすこともできる。応用の点ではより意味がある湾曲したコンタクトレンズの場合は、楕円率はコンタクトレンズの曲率に依存することとなる。さらに、多くの場合、楕円率は処理フィールド全体で一定ではないが半径方向依存性を示す。
ただし、コンタクトレンズ面の形状が球面では記述できないが、例えば放物面等の異なる空間領域関数に従う場合、上記の変換と同様に変換法則を与えることができ、前記法則は同一の物理概念に従う。
Claims (8)
- 角膜(5)内に切り込み(9)を形成するための装置であって、
角膜(5)内にレーザ光(3)を集束して角膜(5)内に光学的穿孔(8)を生成するレーザ光源(S)と、
コンタクトレンズ(21)であって、該コンタクトレンズ(21)の接触面(22)を角膜(5)の表面に加圧することにより角膜(5)を所定の形状に変形させる前記コンタクトレンズ(21)と、
焦点を三次元的に変位する走査ユニット(6、10)と、
角膜(5)に一連の光学的穿孔(8)を生成することにより切り込み(9)が形成されるように前記走査ユニット(6、10)を制御する制御ユニット(2)とを備え、
前記制御ユニット(2)は、以下の式
ここで、α、φ、Rは、角膜(5)の変形前の球面座標であり、α’、φ’、R’は、変形状態の角膜(5)に対する球面座標であり、RCVは、非変形状態の角膜(5)の表面の曲率半径であり、RGは、前記コンタクトレンズ(21)の前記接触面(22)の曲率半径である、装置。 - 前記接触面(22)は、球面である、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記制御ユニット(2)は、変形状態の角膜(5)の座標を前記接触面(22)の中心(M)に関連付ける、請求項2に記載の装置。
- 前記制御ユニット(2)は、角膜(5)の変形に基づいて経路線を計算し、前記走査ユニット(6、10)を制御して、焦点を前記経路線に沿って三次元的に変位させる、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- コンタクトレンズ(21)の接触面(22)が角膜(5)の表面に加圧されることにより角膜(5)が所定の形状に変形された角膜の状態において角膜(5)内にレーザ光(3)を集束して角膜(5)内に光学的穿孔(8)を生成することにより角膜(5)内に切り込み(9)を形成するための装置の作動方法であって、前記装置は、走査ユニット(6、10)と、前記走査ユニット(6、10)を制御する制御ユニット(2)とを含む、作動方法において、
前記制御ユニット(6、10)が前記走査ユニット(6、10)を制御して焦点を三次元的に変位させて角膜(5)に一連の光学的穿孔(8)を生成することにより切り込み(9)が形成されるようにすることを含み、
前記制御することは、前記制御ユニット(2)が以下の式
ここで、α、φ、Rは、角膜(5)の変形前の球面座標であり、α’、φ’、R’は、変形状態の角膜(5)に対する球面座標であり、RCVは、非変形状態の角膜(5)の表面の曲率半径であり、RGは、前記コンタクトレンズ(21)の前記接触面(22)の曲率半径である、作動方法。 - 前記接触面(22)は、球面である、請求項5に記載の作動方法。
- 前記制御ユニット(2)は、変形状態の角膜(5)の座標を前記接触面(22)の中心(M)に関連付けるように作動される、請求項6に記載の作動方法。
- 前記制御ユニット(2)は、角膜(5)の変形に基づいて経路線を計算し、前記走査ユニット(6、10)を制御して、焦点が前記経路線に沿って三次元的に変位するように作動される、請求項5〜7のいずれか1項に記載の作動方法。
