Claims (15)
- ファンと、低圧部と高圧部を備える圧縮機部と、燃焼器部と、低圧部を備えるタービンと、を有し、低圧タービン部が低圧圧縮機部とファンとを駆動しており、
低圧タービンおよび低圧圧縮機部の速度に対するファンの速度を減速させる減速ギアをさらに有し、
低圧タービン部と低圧圧縮機部の双方が、複数の列のそれぞれに複数のブレードを有し、これらのブレードは、少なくともいくらかの時間にわたって所定の回転速度で動作し、前記ブレードの数と前記回転速度は、前記の低圧タービン部と低圧圧縮機部の少なくとも低圧圧縮機部の複数のブレード列について次式が成り立つように設定され、
(ブレード数×回転速度)/60≧6000、
前記回転速度は、毎分回転数として表した進入速度であり、
ガスタービンエンジンの定格推力は、15000ポンド以上であることを特徴とするガスタービンエンジン。 - 前記減速ギアは、2.3よりも大きいギア比を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のガスタービンエンジン。
- 前記減速ギアは、2.5よりも大きいギア比を有することを特徴とする請求項2に記載のガスタービンエンジン。
- 前記ファンは、空気をバイパスダクトに導くとともに、空気の一部を圧縮機部に導き、バイパス比が、圧縮機部に導かれる空気の量に対するバイパスダクトに導かれる空気の量として定義され、前記バイパス比は、6よりも大きいことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のガスタービンエンジン。
- 前記バイパス比は、10よりも大きいことを特徴とする請求項4に記載のガスタービンエンジン。
- ファンと、ファン駆動タービンロータを備えるタービン部と、を有し、ファン駆動タービンロータは、低圧圧縮機ロータを駆動しており、
低圧圧縮機ロータを駆動するファン駆動タービンロータからの入力速度に対してファンの速度を減速させる減速ギアをさらに有し、
低圧圧縮機ロータは、複数の列のそれぞれに複数の圧縮機ブレードを有し、前記ブレードは、少なくともいくらかの時間にわたって所定の回転速度で動作し、前記圧縮機ブレードの数と、前記回転速度とは、低圧圧縮機ロータの複数の列について以下の式が成り立つように設定され、
(前記ブレード数×前記回転速度)/60≧6000Hz、
前記回転速度は、毎分回転数として表した進入速度であり、
ガスタービンエンジンの定格推力は、15000ポンド以上であることを特徴とするガスタービンエンジン。 - 前記減速ギアは、2.3よりも大きいギア比を有することを特徴とする請求項6に記載のガスタービンエンジン。
- 前記減速ギアは、2.5よりも大きいギア比を有することを特徴とする請求項7に記載のガスタービンエンジン。
- 前記ファンは、空気をバイパスダクトに導くとともに、空気の一部を圧縮機ロータに導き、バイパス比が、圧縮機ロータに導かれる空気の量に対するバイパスダクトに導かれる空気の量として定義され、前記バイパス比は、6よりも大きいことを特徴とする請求項6に記載のガスタービンエンジン。
- 前記バイパス比は、10よりも大きいことを特徴とする請求項9に記載のガスタービンエンジン。
- タービン部は、高圧タービンロータと低圧タービンロータを備え、ファン駆動タービンロータは、低圧タービンロータであることを特徴とする請求項6に記載のガスタービンエンジン。
- 高圧タービンロータが、高圧圧縮機ロータを駆動することを特徴とする請求項11に記載のガスタービンエンジン。
- 低圧圧縮機ロータを駆動するとともに、減速ギアを介してファンを駆動するファン駆動タービンロータを備え、低圧圧縮機ロータの複数の列について、次式が成り立つように、低圧圧縮機ロータの回転数と組み合わせて、低圧圧縮機ロータの前記複数の列のブレードの数を選択するステップをそれぞれ含むガスタービンエンジン設計方法であって、
(前記ブレード数×前記回転速度)/60s≧6000Hz、
前記回転速度は、毎分回転数として表した進入速度であり、
ガスタービンエンジンの定格推力は、15000ポンド以上であることを特徴とするガスタービンエンジン設計方法。 - タービン部が、高圧タービンロータと低圧タービンロータを備えており、ファン駆動タービンロータは、低圧タービンロータであることを特徴とする請求項13に記載のガスタービンエンジン設計方法。
- 高圧タービンロータが、高圧圧縮機ロータを駆動することを特徴とする請求項14に記載のガスタービンエンジン設計方法。
