Description
・R5はそれぞれ独立して水素原子であるか、又は炭素原子数が1〜17のヒドロカルビル基であり、R5で示される基は少なくとも2つがアルキル基であり、
・R6はそれぞれ独立して、水素原子であるか、又は炭素原子数が1〜17のヒドロカルビル基であり、
・R6はそれぞれ独立して、水素原子であるか、又は炭素原子数が1〜17のヒドロカルビル基であり、
・R7で示される基は少なくとも2つが、アルキル基であり、
・R8はそれぞれ独立して、水素原子であるか、又は炭素原子数が1〜17のヒドロカルビル基であり、
・R5、R6、R7、及びR8で示されるヒドロカルビル基はそれぞれ独立して、アルコール基、アルキル基、アミド基、エーテル基、又はエステル基であり、モノマーの非環式アミン化合物は、質量平均分子量が500未満であり、かつ共有結合から成り、モノマーの環式アミン化合物は、質量平均分子量が500未満であり、窒素原子を2個以下しか有さない。
以下で述べるようにボロキシン化合物は、潤滑剤組成物のシール適合性を改善するため、潤滑剤組成物中に、又は潤滑剤組成物用の添加剤パッケージ中に含まれていてよい。ボロキシン化合物は潤滑剤組成物中で、1種以上のアミン化合物と組み合わされていてよい。潤滑剤組成物中にアミン化合物とともに存在する場合、ボロキシン化合物はアミン化合物と相互作用を起こし、潤滑剤組成物がフルオロポリマーシールと接触した時に、フルオロポリマーシールとの否定的な相互作用をもたらすアミン化合物の傾向に干渉すると考えられているが、アミン化合物の安定化作用が影響を受けることは無い。
・その他の第一級アミン、例えばエチルアミン、n−プロピルアミン、イソプロピルアミン、n−ブチルアミン、イソブチルアミン、s−ブチルアミン、t−ブチルアミン、ペンチルアミン、及びヘキシルアミン、
・下記式の第一級アミン:CH3−O−C2H4−NH2、C2H5−O−C2H4−NH2、CH3−O−C3H6−NH2、C2H5−O−C3H6−NH2−、C4H9−O−C4H8−NH2、HO−C2H4−NH2、HO−C3H6−NH2、及びHO−C4H8−NH2、

上記式中、mは1〜5の整数であり、R9は水素原子であるか、又は炭素原子数が1〜6のヒドロカルビル基であり、C1〜C6アルキレンは、アルキル基の対応する架橋類似体を表す。分散剤は、1〜10個のC1〜C4アルキレンイミン基から構成されるポリアルキレンイミン基であり得る。分散剤は或いは、結合している窒素原子とともに、置換若しくは非置換の5員〜7員の複素環であって、この複素環は、非置換であるか、又は1〜3個のC1〜C4アルキル基によって置換されていてよく、さらなる環ヘテロ原子(例えば酸素又は窒素)を有していてよい。
以下の実施例では、均質になるまで各成分をともに混合することによって、例示的な潤滑剤組成物を調製したが、本願発明による潤滑剤組成物が、これらに限られるわけではない。分散剤、洗浄剤、アミン系抗酸化剤、フェノール系抗酸化剤、消泡剤、基油、耐摩耗性添加剤、流動点降下剤、及び粘度調整剤を含有する完全に調製した潤滑油組成物を作製した。市販の代表的なクランク室潤滑剤であるこの潤滑剤組成物を、「参照用潤滑剤」と呼び、シール適合性に関する異なる成分の効果を比較するための基準として用いる。

Claims (10)
- R1がそれぞれメチル基である、請求項1に記載の潤滑剤組成物。
- 前記ボロキシン化合物が、前記潤滑剤組成物の全質量に対して0.1〜5質量%の量で含まれている、請求項1又は2に記載の潤滑剤組成物。
- 前記アミン化合物が、前記潤滑剤組成物の全質量に対して、0.1〜20質量%の量で含まれている、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項に記載の潤滑剤組成物。
- 前記アミン化合物が、少なくとも1個のピペリジン環と、少なくとも1個のエステル基を有する、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項に記載の潤滑剤組成物。
- 前記潤滑剤組成物におけるあらゆる反応の前に、前記潤滑剤組成物を形成するために用いられる前記ボロキシン化合物の全質量に対して、前記ボロキシン化合物の少なくとも50質量%が、前記潤滑剤組成物中で未反応のまま残っている、請求項1から5までのいずれか1項に記載の潤滑剤組成物。
- さらにジヒドロカルビルジチオホスフェート塩を含有する、請求項1から6までのいずれか1項に記載の潤滑剤組成物。
