Description

The present invention relates to a shower apparatus, and in particular, relates to a shower apparatus that reduces discomfort caused by cold water being sprinkled in the initial shower.

FIG. 1 shows a conventional general shower apparatus. Hot water supplied from the water supply main 1 and hot water supply main 2 is sprinkled from the shower head 6 through the mixing valve 3, the on-off flow control valve 4, and the water flow main 5. Since the mixing valve 3 is adjusted to an appropriate temperature during shower use, the inside of the water main pipe 5 is at an appropriate temperature. However, as time passes after the use of the shower is over, the temperature in the water main pipe 5 is lowered, and cold water is sprinkled at the beginning of the next shower use, which is uncomfortable. In particular, in the case of the shower head 6 fixed to the wall surface or the like as shown in FIG. The discomfort is even greater because it is not possible.

On the other hand, in Patent Document 1, in order to provide a shower discharge device in which cold water is not applied to the body at the initial stage of hot water discharge, a temperature control valve for mixing and adjusting hot water and water, and a temperature detection unit for detecting the mixed temperature, A temperature control motor for driving the temperature control valve, a discharge section for discharging hot water sent from the temperature control valve to a human body, a main path on-off valve and a drain on-off valve provided in the discharge section path And the drain on-off valve is opened first immediately after the start of operation. This prevents cold water from being worn at the beginning of discharge.

However, in this case, expensive devices such as a temperature detection unit and a temperature adjustment motor are required. In Patent Document 2, in order to prevent the growth of fungi and bacteria and obtain sanitary purified water, and to prevent freezing of stagnant water, the drainage mechanism of the water purification shower system is connected to the water inlet connection of the water purifier body. , Installed between the water supply hose. Source water and accumulated water in the purified water shower system flow into the housing through the water supply hose and the water purifier main body. A drain hole for discharging the inflowing water was provided on the lower surface of the housing. An opening having a circular cross section was formed in the vicinity of the drain hole inside the housing, and a sealing member made of a spherical ball connected by a spring and vertically movable was inserted. The sealing member closes the opening when supplying the source water to prevent the water in the housing from flowing out of the drain hole. Discharge. This draining mechanism has a simple and inexpensive structure, and also serves to discharge cold water in the initial shower. However, since the drain valve is installed in the middle of the main water passage, when the hot water in the water passage from the drain valve to the hot water supply source is cooled, the cold water at the initial stage of the shower is sprinkled from the shower.

The present invention has been made to solve the above problems, and an object of the present invention is to shorten the cold water sprinkling time immediately after the start of sprinkling from the shower head by a simple method and improve comfort. .

In order to achieve the above object, according to the first aspect of the present invention, there is provided a shower head, an on-off flow control valve for turning on / off water discharged from the shower head, and between the open / close flow control valve and the shower head. A water flow main to be connected, a drainage channel branched from the water flow main and extending downward from the branch portion, and disposed in the drainage channel, is closed when water is discharged from the shower head, and is opened when water is stopped. An opening / closing valve for providing a valve, and the drainage channel is provided with a storage space for storing water accumulated in the water main on the opening / closing flow control valve side of the branching portion , and the volume in the drainage channel is The shower device is characterized in that it is equal to or more than the volume of water accumulated between the branch portion and the open / close flow control valve to the open / close flow control valve .

A storage space is provided , and the volume in the drainage channel is equal to or greater than the volume of water accumulated between the branch portion and the open / close flow control valve to the open / close flow control valve. Can be prevented from being discharged from the shower head.
Further, since temperature responsive parts such as a temperature responsive valve are not used, the same flow path as that of hot water can be shared even when cold water is required, and it can be configured at a very low cost.

According to a second aspect of the present invention, the water main pipe closer to the open / close flow regulating valve than the branch portion communicates with the branch portion from above the branch portion, and The water main on the shower head side extends in the horizontal direction or upward from the horizontal direction from the branch portion.
Thus, since water is supplied to the branch portion from above, the initial water discharge is performed not on the shower head side but first on the drainage channel side, so that the initial cold water can be reliably stored in the storage space. Can be more effectively prevented.

According to a third aspect of the present invention, the drainage channel is characterized in that the diameter of the drainage channel is larger than that of the water main pipe closer to the open / close flow control valve than the branch portion.
When the cold water is poured into the drainage channel, the air in the drainage channel and the water to be poured must be replaced. Therefore, it is necessary to efficiently drain the air and flush the water. At that time, since the diameter of the branch portion is increased, the replacement is easy to occur, and the cold water is easily stored in the storage space. Therefore, it is possible to more reliably prevent cold water from being discharged from the shower head, and more effectively prevent initial cold water discharge.

The present invention has the following effects. That is, cold water discharge from the shower head can be prevented by storing cold water at the time of water discharge in the storage space. In addition, since temperature-responsive parts such as a temperature responsive valve are not used, the same flow path as that of hot water can be shared even when cold water is required, and the structure can be configured at a very low cost.

The embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS.
FIG. 2 shows the overall configuration of the shower apparatus of the present invention. Water and hot water respectively supplied from the water supply main pipe 1 and the hot water supply main pipe 2 pass through the water supply pipe 7 and the hot water supply pipe 8 and are mixed by the temperature control valve 3 such as a thermostat type. The mixed water flowing out of the temperature control valve 3 flows through the open / close flow control valve 4 (which may also serve as a shower switch) and flows out to the water main pipe 5. The water main 5 communicates with the shower head 6, and the mixed water is sprinkled from the shower head 6. There is a branching portion 9 in the middle of the water main pipe 5. Branching from the branch portion 9 is a drainage channel 10 extending downward. An opening / closing valve 11 is provided on the wall surface at the tip of the drainage channel 10. The on-off valve 11 is opened when water is discharged and closed when water is stopped. The structure of the on-off valve 11 will be described later. The above is the overall configuration of the shower device of the present invention. The difference from the conventional example of FIG. 1 is that a branch portion 9 is provided in the middle of the water main pipe 5 and a drainage channel 10 and an on-off valve 11 are provided.

Next, details of the branch portion 9 in the water main pipe 5 will be described. The mixed water flowing out from the on-off flow control valve 4 passes through the water main pipe 5 and reaches the branching portion 9 at a portion directed downward. On the other hand, as shown in the enlarged views of the branching parts in FIGS. 3A and 3B, the water main pipe 5 from the branching part 9 to the shower head 6 extends from the branching part 9 in the horizontal direction or upward from the horizontal direction. And then extends upward toward the shower head 6 side. The drainage channel 10 extends downward from the branch portion 9. In the branch portion 9, the water main pipe 5 and the drainage channel 10 from the open / close flow control valve 4 are connected in a straight line.
Further, the water main pipe 5 of the branch portion 9 has a diameter larger than that of the water main pipe 5 closer to the open / close flow control valve 4 than the branch portion 9.

Next, details of the drainage channel will be described. The length and inner diameter of the drainage channel 10 are such that the volume in the drainage channel 10 is equal to or greater than the volume of water accumulated between the highest position 28 between the branch portion 9 and the hot water supply source 2 and the hot water supply source 2. Set. Here, the hot water supply source means a portion of the hot water supply pipe 8 that is constantly at a high temperature. In FIG. 2, the hot water supply main 2 can be said to be a hot water source if the hot water supply main is circulated through a circulation pipe like a hotel or the like. Moreover, when there is a water heater as in a general house, the water heater can be said to be a hot water source.

Next, the on-off valve 11 at the tip of the drainage channel 10 will be described. 4 and 5 are cross-sectional views of the on-off valve 11.
The on-off valve body 12 is provided with an inlet 13 and a sheet member insertion port 14, and the inlet 13 and the sheet member 15 have an angle of 90 degrees. The sheet member 15 is provided with a sheet 16 at one end and a spout connection screw portion 17 (screw not shown) at the other end. A filter 18, a valve guide 19, a valve 20, and a spring 21 are provided in the on-off valve body 12 coaxially with the seat member 15. A rubber sheet 22 is provided at the tip of the valve 20. The spring 21 always applies a load to the valve 20 in the direction of separating the valve 20 from the seat 16. A flat packing 23, a rectifying network 24, and a water discharge port 25 are provided on the water discharge port connecting screw portion 17 side of the sheet member 15.

The stem portion 26 of the valve 20 includes a large diameter portion 26-1 and a small diameter portion 26-2. The valve guide 19 has a shape corresponding to the large diameter portion 26-1 and the small diameter portion 26-2 of the valve stem portion. The outer peripheral clearance of the valve small diameter part 26-2 is smaller than the outer peripheral clearance of the valve large diameter part 26-1.

As described above, when the water pressure does not act on the on-off valve 11, the valve 20 is separated from the seat 16 by the spring 21 and is opened. When the water pressure acts, the valve 20 moves in the direction of the seat 16 due to the water pressure, and the valve is closed.

The effect | action by the structure of the above shower apparatus is as follows. That is, first, in a situation where a shower is not used, since the water pressure due to shower water does not act on the on-off valve 11 at the tip of the drainage channel 10, the on-off valve 11 is in an open state. For this reason, the water in the drainage channel 10 and the water flow main 5 is in a state of being removed.

More precisely describing the location where water has escaped in the water main 5, the highest point 27 of the water main 5 from the branch 9 to the shower head 6, and hot water from the branch 9. Up to the highest point 28 of the water main 5 leading to the source 2.

Next, the open / close flow control valve 4 is opened to use the shower. Water in the initial stage of water flow passes through the branch portion 9 and flows into the drainage channel 10 and reaches the opening / closing valve 11 at the tip. The on-off valve 11 is closed by water pressure. At this time, water in the initial stage of water flow is stored in the drainage channel 10. Water from the initial stage of water flow is sprinkled from the shower head 6 through the water flow main 5 from the branch portion 9. At this time, the length of the drainage channel 10 is such that the volume of the drainage channel 10 is equal to or greater than the volume of water accumulated from the highest position 28 between the branch portion 9 and the hot water supply source 2 to the hot water supply source 2. Since the inner diameter is set, the initial cold water portion is stored in the drainage channel 10. As a result, the user is comfortable because the amount of cold water in the initial stage of shower watering is reduced.
After the shower is used, water pressure due to shower water does not act on the opening / closing valve 11 at the tip of the drainage channel 10 again, so the opening / closing valve 11 is opened, and the drainage channel 10 and the water main 5 The water inside is in a drained state.

FIG. 6 shows data of changes in watering temperature at the initial stage of shower watering. In the figure, data with “no residual water discharge valve” indicates the measurement result of a conventional shower device. Data indicated as “with residual water discharge valve” indicates the measurement result of the shower apparatus of the present invention. In the graph, the shower handle was opened at time 0 seconds. In the case of a conventional shower device, the shower is sprayed after 0.3 to 0.4 seconds after the handle is opened, and then the shower is sprinkled. Gradually rises to the proper temperature. Cold water was sprinkled for about 2 seconds. On the other hand, in the case of the shower device of the present invention, the time is 0 to 1.3 seconds, which is a time zone in which the shower is not passed. After that, the shower is sprinkled, the temperature once decreases due to the initial cold water, and then gradually rises to an appropriate temperature. It can be seen that the cold water is sprinkled for about 1 second, and the initial water spray time is shortened in the shower device of the present invention compared to the conventional shower device.

Here, in the branch portion 9 in the water main pipe 5, the mixed water flowing out of the on-off flow control valve 4 reaches the branch portion 9 while passing downward through the water main pipe 5. On the other hand, the water main pipe 5 from the branch portion 9 to the shower head 6 extends from the branch portion 9 in the horizontal direction or upward from the horizontal direction. Further, the drainage channel 10 extends downward from the branch portion 9. That is, in the branch portion 9, the water main 5 and the drainage channel 10 from the open / close flow control valve 4 are connected in a straight line, and the initial water flow is more likely to flow in the direction of the drainage channel 10 than in the direction of the shower head 6. It has become. This makes it possible to reliably store the initial cold water in the drainage channel 10 that is a storage space.

Further, when the cold water is poured into the drainage channel 10, the air in the drainage channel 10 and the water to be poured must be replaced. Therefore, it is necessary to efficiently drain the air and feed the water. Since the water main pipe 5 of the branch portion 9 is larger in diameter than the water main pipe 5 on the hot water supply source 2 side than the branch portion 9, a sufficient space for replacement is secured in the branch portion 9. Replacement is likely to occur, and cold water is easily stored in the drainage channel 10 that is a storage space. Therefore, it is possible to more reliably prevent cold water from being discharged from the shower head 6 and more effectively prevent initial cold water discharge.

Regarding the on-off valve 11 at the tip of the drainage channel 10, the stem portion 26 of the valve 20 is composed of a large diameter portion 26-1 and a small diameter portion 26-2, and the valve guide 19 is connected to the large diameter portion 26-1 of the valve stem portion. It has a shape corresponding to the small diameter part 26-2, and the outer peripheral clearance of the valve small diameter part 26-2 is smaller than the outer peripheral clearance of the valve large diameter part 26-1. For this reason, the valve small-diameter portion 26-2 acts as a guide for the valve. However, since the valve has a small diameter, the frictional resistance of the valve is small and the valve operates stably. On the other hand, the portion 29 surrounded by the small-diameter portion 26-2 and the large-diameter portion 26-1 acts as a damper due to the viscosity of water when the valve is moved, and vibrations and noise during operation can be reduced. This is to prevent vibrations and abnormal noises by reducing the valve speed during operation. Further, the filter 18 provided upstream of the valve 20 reduces problems such as the foreign matter biting of the valve 20.

Further, since the inlet 13 of the on-off valve body 12 and the seat member 15 have an angle of 90 degrees, the moving direction and the inflow direction of the valve 20 form an angle of 90 degrees. For this reason, the flow pressure at the time of inflow does not directly affect the movement of the valve 20, and the occurrence of vibration of the valve 20 due to the flow pressure is small.

In addition, the water discharge port 25 is provided with a rectifying network 24 to reduce the noise during drainage, but the water flow area of the water discharge port 25 is sufficiently smaller than the water flow area of the seat 16. There is an effect of drainage deceleration in the rectifying network 24, and the sound during drainage is reduced.
