Claims (14)
- 第1のセクション、第2のセクション、及び前記第1のセクションと前記第2のセクションとを接合する湾曲した角部を含む複合構造体であって、繊維強化プライのスタックを含み、該スタックは、
a.前記第1のセクションから前記角部の内側を曲がって前記第2のセクションへ延びる第1の外側プライと、
b.前記第1のセクションから前記角部の外側を曲がって前記第2のセクションへ延びる第2の外側プライと、
c.第1の内側プライであって、前記第1の外側プライ及び前記第2の外側プライ間に挟まれており、前記第1のセクションから前記角部を曲がって前記第2のセクションへ延び、前記第2のセクションの内部で途切れており、そのため、前記第2のセクション内よりも前記第1のセクション内に該第1の内側プライが多く位置する、第1の内側プライと、
d.第2の内側プライであって、前記第1の外側プライ及び前記第2の外側プライ間に挟まれており、前記第2のセクションから前記角部を曲がって前記第1のセクションへ延び、前記第1のセクションの内部で途切れており、そのため、前記第1のセクション内よりも前記第2のセクション内に該第2の内側プライが多く位置する、第2の内側プライと、
前記第1の外側プライ及び前記第2の外側プライ間に挟まれ、前記第1のセクションから前記角部を曲がって前記第2のセクションに延び、前記第1のセクション又は前記第2のセクションの内部で途切れていない、連続的な内側プライと、
を含み、
該構造体は、前記第1の内側プライ及び前記第2の内側プライが重なり合うところで厚さが増大している、複合構造体。 - 前記第1の外側プライは、前記第1の内側プライが途切れているところに斜面を有し、前記第2の外側プライは、前記第2の内側プライが途切れているところに斜面を有する、請求項1に記載の複合構造体。
- 前記第1の内側プライの繊維は、該第1の内側プライの繊維及び前記第2の内側プライの繊維が重なり合うところで該第2の内側プライの繊維に対して異なる角度で延びる、請求項1又は2に記載の複合構造体。
- 前記第1の内側プライは、前記第1のセクションの長さ軸と整列している繊維を有する0度のプライであり、前記第2の内側プライは、前記第2のセクションの長さ軸と整列している繊維を有する0度のプライである、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の複合構造体。
- 前記第1の内側プライは、前記第1のセクションの長さ軸と45度で整列している繊維を有するバイアスプライであり、前記第2の内側プライは、前記第2のセクションの長さ軸と整列している繊維を有する0度のプライである、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の複合構造体。
- 前記内側プライはそれぞれ単一の方向にのみ延びる繊維を含む、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の複合構造体。
- 前記第1の内側プライの繊維は、該第1の内側プライの繊維及び前記第2の内側プライの繊維が重なり合うところで該第2の内側プライの繊維に対して角度θで延び、該角度θは3度よりも大きく42度よりも小さい、請求項3に記載の複合構造体。
- 前記角度θは20度よりも小さい、請求項7に記載の複合構造体。
- 前記角度θは10度よりも小さい、請求項8に記載の複合構造体。
- 前記角度θは5度よりも大きい、請求項7〜9のいずれか1項に記載の複合構造体。
- エーロフォイルであって、該エーロフォイルの低圧面及び高圧面を形成する一対の外板と、該外板を接合する一対の桁とを備え、前記外板の一方及び前記桁の少なくとも一方は請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の複合構造体によって形成される、エーロフォイル。
- 前記第1のセクションは桁を含み、前記第2のセクションは外板を含む、請求項11に記載のエーロフォイル。
- 前記第2の外側プライは前記外板の空気力学的面を形成する、請求項12に記載のエーロフォイル。
- 請求項11〜13のいずれか1項に記載のエーロフォイルを備える航空機翼。
