- 無線通信ネットワークを介した無線デバイスの個別ページング及びグループページングのシステムであって、
無線デバイスを備え、
前記無線デバイスは、
ページングサイクルを用いて、無線通信ネットワークを介してページングメッセージを受信し、
前記ページングサイクルの個別ページング聴取区間(IPLI)中にデバイスグループのグループページング指示子を受信し、
前記グループページング指示子が受信された場合、前記ページングサイクルのグループページング聴取区間(GPLI)中に起動し、
前記GPLI中に前記デバイスグループのグループページングイベントが受信された場合、アイドルモードから接続モードに移行し、前記デバイスグループのグループトラフィックを受信する、
システム。 - 前記無線デバイスはデバイスグループ識別子を用いてデバイスグループに割り当てられる、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記ページングサイクルのページング聴取区間(PLI)中に、前記無線デバイスを起動して、ページングイベントをチェックすることを更に含む、請求項1または請求項2に記載のシステム。

- 無線通信ネットワークを介した無線デバイスの個別ページング及びグループページングの方法であって、
前記無線デバイスのページングサイクル及びページングオフセットを設定することと、
デバイスグループ識別子を用いて、前記無線デバイスをデバイスグループに割り当てる段階と、
前記ページングサイクルの一部分中に、前記無線デバイスを起動して、前記無線通信ネットワークを介して受信されたページングイベントをチェックする段階と、
前記ページングサイクルの前記部分中に、前記無線デバイスにおいて前記デバイスグループのグループページングイベントを受信する段階と、
を含み、
前記方法は、
ページングサイクル内に個別ページング聴取区間(IPLI)及びグループページング聴取区間(GPLI)を割り当てる段階と、
前記GPLI中に前記無線デバイスを起動し、グループページングイベントを受信するために、前記IPLI中に前記無線デバイスにおいてグループページング指示子を受信する段階とを更に含む、方法。 - 前記ページングサイクルのページング聴取区間(PLI)中に、前記無線デバイスを起動して、ページングイベントをチェックする段階を更に含む、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記PLI中に個別ページングイベント及び前記グループページングイベントを受信する段階を更に含む、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記グループページングイベントが受信された後に、アイドルモードから接続モードに移行して、前記デバイスグループのグループトラフィックを受信する段階を更に含む、請求項6から請求項8のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
- 前記無線デバイスは機械間(M2M)デバイス又は移動局(MS)である、請求項6から請求項9のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
- 予め定められた時間中にPLI(ページング聴取区間)及びページング不能区間(PUI)を含むように、前記無線デバイスの前記ページングサイクルを設定する段階を更に含む、請求項6から請求項10のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
- 第1のページングサイクル及び第1のページング聴取区間を使用して、個別ページングメッセージを聴取する段階と、第2のページングサイクル及び第2のページング聴取区間を使用して、グループページングメッセージ聴取する段階とを更に含む、請求項6から請求項11のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
- 無線デバイスが複数のデバイスグループに属するときに、前記複数のデバイスグループ間でグループページングサイクル及びグループページングオフセットを共有する段階を更に含む、請求項6から請求項12のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
- 前記無線デバイスを複数のデバイスグループに割り当てる段階を更に含み、前記複数のデバイスグループはそれぞれ別々のページングサイクル及び別々のページングオフセットを有する、請求項6から請求項13のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
- 前記グループページング指示子内に、次回のグループページングイベントについての情報を含める段階を更に含む、請求項6から請求項14のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
- 前記グループページング指示子内に、前記次回のグループページングイベントのグループ識別(GID)情報を含める段階を更に含む、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記グループページング指示子内に、前記次回のグループページングイベントのグループページングオフセット及びグループページングサイクル情報を含める段階を更に含む、請求項15または請求項16に記載の方法。
- 無線通信ネットワークを介した無線デバイスの個別ページング及びグループページングの方法であって、
前記無線デバイスの個別ページングサイクル、個別ページングオフセット、及び個別ページング聴取区間(IPLI)を設定する段階と、
グループページングサイクル、グループページングオフセット及びグループページング聴取区間(GPLI)を設定する段階と、
前記ページングサイクルの個別ページング聴取区間(IPLI)中に、前記無線デバイスを起動して、ページングイベントをチェックする段階と、
前記無線デバイスにおいて前記IPLI中にグループページング指示子を受信する段階と、
前記グループページング指示子が受信された場合、前記GPLI中に前記無線デバイスを起動して、グループページングイベントを受信する段階と、
前記GPLI中にグループページングイベントを受信する段階と、
を含む、方法。 - 前記グループページングイベントが受信された後に、アイドルモードから接続モードに移行して、デバイスグループのグループトラフィックを受信する段階を更に含む、請求項18に記載の方法。
- デバイスグループ識別子を用いて無線デバイスをデバイスグループに割り当てる段階を更に含む、請求項18または請求項19に記載の方法。
- コンピュータに、請求項6〜20のいずれか一項に記載の方法を実行させるためのプログラム。
- 請求項6から請求項20のいずれか1つに記載の方法を実行する通信デバイス。
- 無線通信ネットワークを介した移動局の個別ページング及びグループページングの方法であって、
前記移動局のためのページングサイクル及びページングオフセットを設定する段階と、
機械間グループ識別子(MGID)を用いて前記移動局をデバイスグループに割り当てる段階と、
前記ページングサイクルの個別ページング聴取区間(IPLI)中に、前記移動局を起動して、前記デバイスグループのグループページング指示子を受信する段階と、
前記グループページング指示子が受信された場合、前記ページングサイクルのグループページング聴取区間中に、前記移動局を起動して、前記移動局において前記デバイスグループのグループページングイベントを受信する段階と、
を含む、方法。 - 前記移動局はM2Mデバイスである、請求項23に記載の方法。
- ダウンリンクマルチキャストサービスフローを識別するために、M2MCID(M2Mマルチキャスト接続ID)がページングイベントに含まれる、請求項23または請求項24に記載の方法。
