Description

Claims (17)
- 水中で使用される羽根であって、キャビティを画定する繊維強化プラスチックの外側シェルを備え、該キャビティの実質的部分が樹脂で充填され、該樹脂が、該シェルの内壁に接着し、該キャビティが、1つの区画の密度が隣接する区画の密度と異なる、その長さに沿って配置された幾つかの区画に分割されている、前記羽根。
- 前記キャビティの少なくとも1つの区画が、水に対して開口している、請求項1記載の羽根。
- 前記樹脂が、500kg/m3〜2000kg/m3の密度を有する、請求項1又は2記載の羽根。
- 前記樹脂が、600kg/m3〜1200kg/m3の密度を有する、請求項3記載の羽根。
- 前記樹脂が、熱硬化性樹脂である、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項記載の羽根。
- 前記樹脂が充填樹脂であり、該充填樹脂が充填材を含む、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項記載の羽根。
- 前記充填材が、鉱物、繊維充填材、又は中空充填材から選択される、請求項6記載の羽根。
- 前記充填材が、前記充填樹脂の0〜60容量%の範囲で存在する、請求項6又は7記載の羽根。
- 前記樹脂が、0〜10重量%のチキソトロープを含む、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項記載の羽根。
- 前記羽根の長さに沿って延びるせん断ウェブが、前記樹脂内に埋め込まれている、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項記載の羽根。
- 水中で使用される羽根を形成する方法であって:
それぞれ半部分がキャビティを画定する、繊維強化プラスチックの2つのシェル半部分を形成する工程であって、該キャビティが該シェルの2つの半部分の中に隔壁を挿入して、該羽根の長さに沿って配置された幾つかの別区画を形成する、前記工程;
該各キャビティの実質的部分に樹脂を充填して、該区画が異なる密度の樹脂を有するように、該樹脂を、該シェルの壁に接着させる工程;
該樹脂の露出表面に接着剤を塗布する工程;及び
該2つの部品を互いに接着する工程を含む、前記方法。 - 前記樹脂を、前記シェルの縁の下のレベルまでキャビティ内に提供して、接着用の間隙を画定する、請求項11記載の方法。
- 樹脂が充填される前に1つのシェル半部分の長さに沿ってせん断ウェブを挿入する工程;
剥離剤塗料が被覆されたダミーせん断ウェブを反対側のシェル半部分に挿入する工程;及び
該樹脂が硬化した後で該ダミーせん断ウェブを除去する工程をさらに含む、請求項11又は12記載の方法。 - 前記熱硬化性樹脂が、ポリエステル、ビニルエステル、エポキシ、フェノール、ポリウレタン、又はポリプロピレンから選択される、請求項5記載の羽根。
- 前記鉱物が、炭酸カルシウム、タルク、硫酸バリウム、シリカ、又は固体ガラス球から選択される、請求項7記載の羽根。
- 前記繊維充填材が、チョップドガラス、もしくはミルドガラス、チョップド熱可塑性繊維、又はチョップド炭素繊維から選択される、請求項7記載の羽根。
- 前記中空充填材が、中空ガラス微小球、中空アルミノ-ケイ酸塩微小球、中空フェノール微小球、又はガラスエポキシ、炭素エポキシ、もしくは熱可塑性樹脂から形成される微小球から選択される、請求項7記載の羽根。
