Description
The present invention relates to a fuel cell raw material supply device including a raw material mixer that generates a mixed gas used for a power generation reaction of a fuel cell, and a fuel cell system including the fuel cell raw material supply device.
Conventionally, a solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) including a solid electrolyte layer (solid oxide layer) is known as a fuel cell which is a kind of power generation device. The SOFC includes a power generation cell in which a fuel electrode layer in contact with a fuel gas and an air electrode layer in contact with an oxidant gas are disposed on both sides of the solid electrolyte layer. The fuel gas is for generating hydrogen, and the oxidant gas is for generating oxygen. Then, hydrogen and oxygen react via a solid electrolyte layer (power generation reaction), thereby generating DC power with the air electrode layer as a positive electrode and the fuel electrode layer as a negative electrode.
Further, in the fuel cell, since a hydrocarbon gas such as city gas or natural gas is used as the fuel gas, there is an advantage that the fuel gas can be easily transported and stored using the existing infrastructure. Here, a steam reforming method is known as a reforming method for obtaining hydrogen from hydrocarbon gas. The steam reforming method is a method of obtaining hydrogen and carbon dioxide by mixing a hydrocarbon gas and steam to generate a mixed gas and reforming the mixed gas at a high temperature. In addition, the raw material mixer is used for the production | generation of mixed gas (for example, refer patent document 1). The raw material mixer obtains water vapor by vaporizing water and mixes the obtained water vapor with hydrocarbon gas.
By the way, in the prior art described in Patent Document 1, in the casing constituting the raw material mixer (evaporation mixer 130b), a fuel introduction pipe (fuel gas supply pipe 132b) for introducing fuel gas into the casing, and water in the casing A liquid introduction pipe (water supply pipe 134b) to be introduced into the inside is provided. Since the raw material mixer is heated from the outside, the water introduced into the casing through the liquid introduction pipe is heated and vaporized by the casing to become steam.
However, since the volume expands when water is vaporized to become water vapor, there is a possibility that the fuel gas will flow backward due to being pushed by the water vapor. In this case, since the supply of the fuel gas becomes unstable, there is a problem that sufficient hydrogen cannot be obtained and the power generation in the fuel cell becomes unstable.
The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and a first object of the present invention is to stabilize the power generation in the fuel cell by preventing the back flow of the fuel gas and stabilizing the supply of the fuel gas. An object of the present invention is to provide a raw material supply device for a fuel cell. A second object is to provide a suitable fuel cell system including the fuel cell material supply device.
As means (means 1) for solving the above-mentioned problems, a casing having a mixing flow path in an enclosed inner region and a gaseous first raw material are introduced into the mixing flow path in the casing. A first raw material introduction pipe; a second raw material introduction pipe for introducing a liquid second raw material into the mixing flow path in the casing; and a heating unit for heating and vaporizing the second raw material in the mixing flow path. And a lead-out pipe for leading the first raw material and the second raw material out of the casing from the mixing flow path, and the second raw material vaporized by the first raw material and the heating unit in the mixing flow path A fuel cell raw material supply device comprising a raw material mixer that mixes raw materials to generate a mixed gas used in a power generation reaction of a fuel cell, the inner end side of the first raw material introduction pipe and the second raw material introduction The inner end side of the tube An opening that opens in the passage, and the mixed gas flows to the outlet tube side along the mixed flow path, and the second raw material introduction tube in the direction in which the mixed gas flows Is disposed behind the opening of the first raw material introduction pipe, and the opening of the second raw material introduction pipe is directed toward the outlet pipe along the mixing flow path. There is a raw material supply device for a fuel cell that is open in a direction opposite to the direction in which the fuel flows .
Moreover, as means (means 3) for solving the above-mentioned problems, a casing having a mixing channel in an enclosed inner region and a gaseous first raw material are supplied to the mixing channel in the casing. A first raw material introduction pipe to be introduced; a second raw material introduction pipe for introducing a liquid second raw material into the mixing flow path in the casing; and the second raw material in the mixing flow path is heated and vaporized. The heating unit, and a lead-out pipe for leading the first raw material and the second raw material out of the casing from the mixing channel, and the vaporized by the first raw material and the heating unit in the mixing channel A fuel cell raw material supply apparatus comprising a raw material mixer for mixing a second raw material to generate a mixed gas used for a power generation reaction of a fuel cell, wherein the second raw material supply device includes an inner end side of the first raw material introduction pipe and the second The inner end side of the material introduction pipe is the front An opening portion that opens to the mixing channel, and the mixed gas flows to the outlet pipe side along the mixing channel, and the second raw material with respect to a direction in which the mixed gas flows An opening of the introduction pipe is disposed behind the opening of the first raw material introduction pipe, and the first raw material introduction pipe flows along the mixing flow path toward the outlet pipe. There is a fuel cell raw material supply apparatus characterized in that the second raw material introduction pipe extends in a direction perpendicular to the first raw material introduction pipe while extending in the same direction as the direction.
According to the first and third aspects of the invention, in the direction in which the mixed gas flows, the opening of the second raw material introduction pipe through which the liquid second raw material flows is the first raw material introduction pipe through which the gaseous first raw material flows. It arrange | positions back rather than an opening part. For this reason, even if the second raw material introduced into the mixing flow path is vaporized and expanded by the heating unit, the first raw material introduced into the mixing flow path is pushed by the second raw material and flows back into the first raw material introduction pipe. Can be avoided. As a result, since the supply of the first raw material is stable, the first raw material and the second raw material can be mixed to stably generate a mixed gas. In addition, since the traveling direction of the expanded second raw material becomes the same as the flow direction of the mixed gas, the mixed gas is pushed by the second raw material and flows toward the outlet tube, so that the supply of the mixed gas is stabilized. It becomes like this. Therefore, power generation in the fuel cell can be stabilized.
Note that the raw material mixer provided in the fuel cell raw material supply device includes a first raw material introduction pipe for introducing a gaseous first raw material into a mixing flow path in the casing, and a mixed second raw material in the casing. And a second raw material introduction pipe introduced into the path. Here, as a gaseous 1st raw material, hydrocarbon gas, an inert gas, water vapor | steam, etc. are mentioned, for example. When hydrocarbon gas is selected as the first raw material, the type of hydrocarbon gas is not particularly limited, but is preferably natural gas, naphtha, coal gasification gas, or the like. In addition, when an inert gas is selected as the first raw material, the type of the inert gas is not particularly limited, but is preferably nitrogen, argon, or the like. Only one type of first raw material may be used, or a plurality of types of first raw materials may be used in combination. Moreover, what vaporized the same raw material as a 2nd raw material may be used as a 1st raw material, and what vaporized several types of 2nd raw materials can also be used.
On the other hand, examples of the liquid second raw material include liquid hydrocarbons, liquid alcohols, and water. When liquid hydrocarbon is selected as the second raw material, the type of liquid hydrocarbon is not particularly limited, but for example, hexane, 1-hexene, cyclohexane, cyclohexene, benzene and the like are preferable. In addition, when liquid alcohol is selected as the second raw material, the type of liquid alcohol is not particularly limited, but is preferably ethyl alcohol (ethanol), methyl alcohol (methanol), propyl alcohol, or the like. The second raw material is preferably water and the first raw material is preferably a hydrocarbon gas.
Further, the inner end side of the first raw material introduction tube and the inner end side of the second raw material introduction tube each have an opening that opens into the mixing flow path. Here, the “inner end side” includes not only the “end face” of the inner end of the first and second raw material introduction pipes but also a portion (end part) near the end face. Incidentally, in the invention according to the means 1, the opening portion of the second material introducing pipe, the direction in which the mixed gas flows toward the outlet pipe side along a mixing channel that has opened in the opposite direction. In this way, the direction of introduction of the second raw material is opposite to the direction in which the mixed gas flows, so that the opening of the first raw material introduction pipe and the opening of the second raw material introduction pipe are separated as much as possible. It becomes possible to make it. Therefore, even if the second raw material introduced into the mixing channel is vaporized and expanded, the expanded second raw material becomes difficult to reach the opening of the first raw material introduction pipe. As a result, the possibility that the first raw material is pushed by the expanded second raw material and flows back into the first raw material introduction pipe is reduced. Therefore, the supply of the first raw material is further stabilized, and the mixed gas is more reliably generated, so that the power generation in the fuel cell is further stabilized. The opening of the second raw material introduction pipe may be opened in the same direction as the opening of the first raw material introduction pipe. In this case, since the second raw material introduction pipe can be formed in the same shape as the first raw material introduction pipe, the structure of the raw material mixer can be simplified.
In the invention described in the means 3, the first raw material introduction pipe extends in the same direction as the mixed gas flows along the mixing flow path toward the outlet pipe side, and the second raw material introduction pipe is provided with the first raw material introduction pipe. that extend in a direction perpendicular to the tube. If it does in this way, even if the 1st raw material which has flowed through the 1st raw material introduction pipe is pushed by the 2nd raw material, it will become difficult to flow back into the 1st raw material introduction pipe. As a result, the supply of the first raw material is further stabilized and the mixed gas is more reliably generated, so that stable fuel reforming is possible, and power generation in the fuel cell is further stabilized.
In addition, the second raw material introduction pipe is connected to the first pipe portion extending from the inner wall of the casing to the mixing flow path and the distal end side of the first pipe section, and the mixed gas flows toward the outlet pipe side along the mixing flow path. It is preferable that a second pipe portion extending in a direction opposite to the flowing direction is provided, and an opening of the second raw material introduction pipe is formed in the second pipe portion. In this way, the opening of the second raw material introduction pipe can be separated from the opening of the first raw material introduction pipe as compared with the case where the second raw material introduction pipe is a pipe extending in a straight line. In this case, even if the second raw material introduced into the mixing channel from the opening of the second raw material introduction pipe is vaporized and expanded by the heating unit, the expanded second raw material reaches the opening of the first raw material introduction pipe. Therefore, the first raw material is pushed by the second raw material and is difficult to flow back into the first raw material introduction pipe. As a result, the supply of the first raw material is further stabilized and the mixed gas is more reliably generated, so that stable fuel reforming is possible, and power generation in the fuel cell is further stabilized.
In addition, it is preferable that the 2nd raw material introduction pipe is contacting the heating part so that heat conduction is possible. If it does in this way, it will become easy to transmit the heat of a heating part to the 2nd raw material which flows through the inside of the 2nd raw material introduction pipe. Therefore, since the second raw material is reliably heated, the second raw material can be stably vaporized. Further, when the second raw material introduction tube includes the first tube portion and the second tube portion, the first tube portion is separated from the heating portion, while the second tube portion is in contact with the heating portion so as to conduct heat. It is preferable. In this case, since the contact area between the second raw material introduction pipe and the heating unit is reduced, vaporization of the second raw material in the second raw material introduction pipe can be minimized. As a result, since the clogging of the second raw material introduction pipe caused by the accumulation of a small amount of impurities not vaporized in the second raw material introduction pipe is prevented, the supply of the second raw material is stabilized, and the fuel cell raw material supply apparatus Reliability is improved.
The heating unit includes an exhaust gas flow channel structure that is in contact with the casing so as to be capable of conducting heat, flows through the exhaust gas that is heated by the power generation reaction in the fuel cell, and is discharged from the fuel cell. It is preferably heated and vaporized by exchanging heat with the exhaust gas introduced into the exhaust gas flow channel structure. In this case, since the heat of the exhaust gas flowing through the exhaust gas flow channel structure is used for vaporization of the second raw material, the efficiency of the entire fuel cell raw material supply apparatus can be improved.
The second raw material introduction pipe is connected to the first pipe section extending from the inner wall of the casing to the mixing flow path and the tip side of the first pipe section, and the mixed gas flows toward the outlet pipe side along the mixing flow path. A second pipe portion extending in a direction opposite to the flow direction, and the first pipe portion is separated from the exhaust gas flow channel structure, while the second pipe portion is in contact with the exhaust gas flow channel structure in a heat conductive manner, It is preferable that the exhaust gas in the exhaust gas flow channel structure and the second raw material in the second pipe part flow in the same direction. In such a case, since the second pipe part comes into contact with the exhaust gas flow channel structure, the second raw material can be efficiently heated in the second pipe part. Moreover, since the exhaust gas in the exhaust gas flow channel structure and the second raw material in the second pipe part flow in the same direction, the inner end of the second pipe part comes into contact with the downstream portion of the exhaust gas flow channel structure. Note that the temperature of the exhaust gas flowing through the downstream portion of the exhaust gas flow channel structure is lower than the temperature of the exhaust gas flowing through the upstream portion. Therefore, since the inner end of the second pipe portion is in contact with a portion where the temperature of the exhaust gas is relatively low, the second raw material is introduced when the second raw material is introduced into the casing from the inner end of the second raw material introduction pipe. The possibility of sudden vaporization can be reduced.
The fuel cell raw material supply device preferably further includes a reformer that generates hydrogen by reforming the mixed gas supplied from the raw material mixer and supplies the generated hydrogen to the fuel cell. If it does in this way, hydrogen required for the power generation reaction of a fuel cell can be obtained using the mixed gas obtained by mixing the existing 1st raw material and the 2nd raw material.
In the above-mentioned means 1, when at least one of the plurality of wall portions constituting the casing is a partition wall that partitions an inner region of the casing and the heating portion adjacent to the casing, the partition wall The second raw material introduction pipe can be brought into contact with each other so as to be capable of conducting heat.
Furthermore, when at least one of the plurality of wall portions is a partition wall, the length in the height direction of the casing is set to be shorter than the length in the lateral direction of the casing, A heating part can also be arrange | positioned through the said partition wall.
In addition, the second raw material introduction pipe is connected to the first pipe part extending from the inner wall of the casing to the mixing flow path and the distal end side of the first pipe part, and flows through the first pipe part. A traveling direction changing portion extending in a direction to change the traveling direction of the two raw materials, a direction connected to a tip side of the traveling direction changing portion, and a direction in which the mixed gas flows toward the outlet pipe along the mixing flow path; When a 2nd pipe part extended in the opposite direction is provided, the 2nd pipe part can be made to contact the heating part while separating the 1st pipe part from the heating part. In this case, the length of the first tube portion can be made longer than the length of the second tube portion.
As another means (means 2) for solving the above-mentioned problem, the fuel cell material supply device according to the above means 1 or 3 and the fuel cell are configured, and an electrolyte layer and both sides of the electrolyte layer are provided. A fuel cell stack having a fuel electrode layer and an air electrode layer disposed; a fuel cell stack for generating power by a power generation reaction in the power generation cell; a heat exchange medium; and the fuel after the power generation reaction in the fuel cell. there is a fuel cell system is characterized in that a flue gas heat exchanger for exchanging heat between the exhaust gas discharged from the battery.
According to the invention described in the means 2, in the raw material mixer provided in the fuel cell raw material supply device, the opening of the second raw material introduction pipe through which the liquid second raw material flows in the direction in which the mixed gas flows is gaseous. It arrange | positions back rather than the opening part of the 1st raw material introduction pipe | tube through which a 1st raw material flows. Accordingly, it is possible to provide a suitable fuel cell system including a highly reliable fuel cell material supply device.

Hereinafter, an embodiment in which the present invention is embodied in a fuel cell system 1 will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
As shown in FIG. 1, the fuel cell system 1 includes a fuel cell

As shown in FIG. 1, an
As shown in FIG. 1, a
As shown in FIG. 1, a
Note that the
As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the
The
The separator is formed in a rectangular shape using a conductive material such as stainless steel, and has a rectangular opening at the center. Further, the electrolyte layer is formed in a rectangular shape by a ceramic material (oxide) such as ZrO 2. The electrolyte layer is fixed to the lower surface of the separator and is disposed so as to close the opening of the separator. The electrolyte layer functions as an oxygen ion conductive solid electrolyte body. Further, an air electrode layer in contact with the air supplied to the
In the power generation cell of this embodiment, a fuel chamber is formed below the separator and an air chamber is formed above the separator. The

As shown in FIG. 1, the
FIG. 4 shows a cross section when the
More specifically, the outer end of the fuel
As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the outer end of the
As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the traveling
Further, the
As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the
Further, the
As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the
As shown in FIG. 5, the
As shown in FIG. 5, the exhaust gas
The exhaust gas
As shown in FIG. 5, the exhaust gas
As shown in FIG. 1, the exhaust gas
Next, a method for generating a mixed gas used for the power generation reaction of the
First, the fuel gas supplied from the fuel
Thereafter, the fuel gas and the water vapor are mixed in the mixing
Therefore, according to the present embodiment, the following effects can be obtained.
(1) In the fuel cell raw
(2) In the present embodiment, the
