OBD診断の範囲内にあることが必要であると共に、値が約1の空燃比の閉ループ規則を可能にする。
燃料中の酸素含有量の決定に関する解決策を25年間提示してきた多くの文書および記事は、フレックス燃料とも呼ばれるエンジンの始動、燃焼および後処理に関する戦略の最適化のための測定の必要性および重要性を示している。
特許文献2は、冷間エンジン始動に使用するための、空気/燃料混合物校正表からの学習ループおよび段階的後退制御法を提供している。
しかし、いずれのセンサも詳細は説明されておらず、アルコールを主成分とするバイオ燃料の存在および水と温度との相互作用に関する制約のいずれについての言及もない。
特許文献4−6は、バイオ燃料を含む混合物のコンダクタンス/キャパシタンスの測定値の変化と、センサの電極間で測定されたインダクタンス電流と酸素の割合との間の相関との原理を使用して、燃料センサから酸素含有量およびエタノールの割合を間接的に決定することを提供している。
他のアプローチも提供される。より詳しくは、特許文献8は、燃料の密度および粘性の決定を可能にする音波センサに基づいており、特許文献9は、特に燃料特性(より詳細には燃料の酸素含有量、およびしたがって燃料のエタノール含量)と関連付けることが可能な燃焼室におけるイオン化信号の測定からの内燃機関の空燃比の調節を提供している。
現在、上記先行技術文献および既に実施されている該文献中の方法およびシステムは、いずれも酸素含有量の測定に対するアルコール−水またはアルコール−水−エステル混合物の影響についても、燃料バイオ燃料混合物のアルコール含有量の相関についても、O−H結合と関連するカルボン酸アルキルラジカルにおける炭素原子数の変化に対する影響についても記載していない。
特許文献12は、アルコール燃料混合物のアルコール含有量を決定するための700nm〜1,700mm域の近赤外センサの利用について記載している。この文書は、一方は参照アルコールであるメタノールで満たされ、他方は測定されるバイオ燃料で満たされた2つの測定セルを、より詳細には900−1,000nmおよび1,450−1,600nmの範囲で用いる可能性を与えている。
アルコール、エーテル、および水のうちの少なくとも一つの混合物を含むバイオ燃料を近赤外分析し、水と、バイオ燃料に含まれるアルコール型およびエーテル型のうちの少なくとも一方の少なくとも1つの他の含酸素化合物との割合を決定する工程と、
前記分析する工程の結果に基づいて前記マッピングの選択および修正のうちの少なくとも一方を行ない、熱機関の動作を最適化する工程と、
からなる方法に関する。
さらに、水分含量がわかると、エンジンを最良に調節するための、バイオ燃料に含まれるアルコールおよびエーテル等の他の含酸素化合物の割合をより正確に決定することが可能となる。

好ましくは、バイオ燃料の組成の近赤外分析により、前記バイオ燃料の物理化学的性質の予測値の補正段階を実行することが可能となる。
図1〜7は、エーテル、水、アルコールの含酸素化合物の種類および/または温度を組み合わせるか組み合わせない追加を通じた850−980nm領域の構成波長によるスペクトルの測定強度に対する種々の非線形な効果を示す。
図8〜12は、オクタン価、蒸留曲線および蒸気圧等の燃料の物理化学的性質に対する含酸素生成物の非線形的影響および相互作用を示す。それらは車両の冷間エンジン始動および温間エンジン始動の最適化ならびに燃焼、エンジンノック限界、および後処理の最適化における決定特性である。
1実施形態によれば、バイオ燃料の分析の工程は、熱電対型の少なくとも1つの温度センサから生成物の温度を測定する工程と、炭化水素の最初の化学基の関数として炭素−酸素または炭素−水素分子結合の認識すべく燃料を構成する炭化水素の分子構造を分光分析する工程を含み、より詳細にはアルコール、水、およびエーテル型のうちの少なくとも一つの量を、混合物および分子内の相互作用の温度の関数として質量パーセントまたは体積パーセントで分光分析する工程を含む。
非常に感度の高い方法であるため、近赤外スペクトルを生成物DNAと見なすことができ、分子構造の分析に特に適している。そのようなスペクトルから得られた分子構造は、モーター制御に非常に優れている。さらに、近赤外分析は特に反復可能である。近赤外分光法による予測には十分な関連するキャリブレーションデータベースの構築が予め必要とされることはよく知られているが、これは種々の関数と、R−OH(第一級アルコール)、C−O−C(エーテル)、H−O−H(水)基、温度の関数としての近赤外スペクトルとの間の最良モデルおよび相関領域の決定を可能にする。データベースが言及しなければならないのは、構成要素に関連するまたは関連しない要素、その混合物中での割合、その近赤外スペクトル、測定時のサンプル温度、混合物または純生成物のすべての物理化学データ、体積パーセントでの計算、重量パーセントでの計算、または絶対値もしくは一方の他方に対する比での他の任意の可能な重み付け、例えば多くの炭素、水素、および酸素原子またはC−H、C−O、O−H結合のエネルギー、エンタルピー、または原子結合の長さである。

Claims (10)
- 電子ハウジングおよび少なくとも1つのエンジンマッピングにより制御される燃焼パラメータを有する熱機関の動作を最適化する方法において、
アルコールと、エーテルと、水とを含む含酸素化合物を含む混合物であるバイオ燃料を近赤外分析し、バイオ燃料に含まれる、水と、アルコールと、エーテルとの含有量を決定する工程と、
前記分析し決定する工程の結果に基づいて前記マッピングの選択および修正の少なくとも一方を行ない、熱機関の動作を最適化する工程と、
を備え、
バイオ燃料を近赤外分析する工程は、バイオ燃料中に存在する酸素原子の結合に関連する特徴的な帯域の複数の重複に基づき前記マッピングを補正する工程を含み、該酸素原子の結合は、第一級アルコール中に存在するR−O−H結合と、エーテル中に存在するC−O−C結合と、水分子中に存在するH−O−H結合とを含む、方法。 - 燃料の消費を最適化し、エンジンのISOの性能での排気ガスの排出を制限するかまたはISOの消費および排出時のエンジンの性能を増加させるよう、前記マッピングの選択および修正の少なくとも一方を行うことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の最適化する方法。
- バイオ燃料を近赤外分析する工程は、
950〜980nmの間のスペクトル領域におけるスペクトル強度を測定し、測定した該スペクトル強度に基づきバイオ燃料中の含酸素化合物の合計含有量を決定する段階と、
900〜910nmの間のスペクトル領域におけるスペクトル強度を測定し、測定した該スペクトル強度に基づきバイオ燃料中の水の含有量を決定する段階と、
890〜910nmの間のスペクトル領域におけるスペクトル強度を測定し、測定した該スペクトル強度に基づきバイオ燃料中のエーテルの含有量を決定する段階と、
前記含酸素化合物の合計含有量と、前記水の含有量と、前記エーテルの含有量とに基づき、バイオ燃料中のアルコールの含有量を決定する段階と、を含むことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の方法。 - 前記近赤外分析する工程が、相互作用のまたはカップリングの共鳴のアーチファクトに起
因する調波または組み合わせの領域に対する相互作用に基づき前記マッピングを補正する段階を含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 - 前記近赤外分析する工程が、分子構造に基づき前記マッピングを補正する段階を含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記近赤外分析する工程が、原油精錬処理により生成された燃料ベース由来のC−CおよびC−H結合の数および種類に基づき前記マッピングを補正する段階を含むことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記近赤外分析する工程が、少なくとも1つの温度検出器からのバイオ燃料の温度の測定値に基づき前記マッピングを補正する段階を含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記バイオ燃料の組成の近赤外分析の結果に基づき、該バイオ燃料の物理化学的性質の予測値の補正する段階を実行する請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 近赤外分析は、780nmから2,500nmの間のシリコン検出領域のスペクトル領域における測定を行なうセンサによって実行されることを特徴とする請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 近赤外分析は、850〜980nmの間のシリコン検出領域のスペクトル領域における測定を行なうセンサによって実行されることを特徴とする請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
