Description
図1は、本発明の旋光計の内部構成を示す構成図である。図中の矢印は光路であり、旋光計は、光源31、干渉フィルタ32、レンズ33、偏光子11、サンプルセル12、ファラデーコイル13、中空モータ14、検光子15、レンズ34、受光素子16が光路に沿って並んで構成されている。光源31は、単色の光を発光するLEDであり、点灯回路30に接続されている。光源31は、点灯回路30から点灯用の電力を供給されて発光する。なお、光源31は、キセノンランプ等、LED以外の光源であってもよい。干渉フィルタ32は、旋光度の測定に用いる波長の光を通過させ、その他の波長の光を遮断するバンドパス光学フィルタである。

Claims (4)
- 単色の可視光の直線偏光を発生させる直線偏光発生手段を備え、試料を透過した直線偏光の偏光面が回転する角度に対応する試料の旋光度を測定する旋光計において、
前記直線偏光発生手段が発生させる直線偏光の波長とナトリウムのD線の波長とに依存する係数を、測定した旋光度に乗じることにより、旋光度をナトリウムのD線の波長での旋光度へ変換する手段を備えることを特徴とする旋光計。 - 試料として溶液試料を用いる場合に、溶液試料の溶質の濃度の値を受け付ける手段と、
受け付けた溶質の濃度の値を用いて、変換後の旋光度から溶質の比旋光度を計算する手段と、
計算した比旋光度の値を出力する手段と
を更に備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の旋光計。 - 試料として溶液試料を用いる場合に、溶液試料の溶質の比旋光度の値を受け付ける手段と、
受け付けた溶質の比旋光度の値を用いて、変換後の旋光度から溶質の濃度を計算する手段と、
計算した濃度の値を出力する手段と
を更に備えることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の旋光計。 - 前記直線偏光発生手段は、発光ダイオード及び偏光板を含んで構成してあること
を特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか一つに記載の旋光計。
