−0.1〜60%、好ましくは1〜55%、一層好ましくは2〜40%、なお一層好ましくは3〜35%の粒子が250μmを超えるものであり、
−平均直径が100〜300μm、好ましくは120〜270μm、一層好ましくは150〜250μm、なお一層好ましくは170〜230μmである、前記組成物に関する。
a)溶媒から、好ましくは水からマンニトールを結晶化するステップと、
b)得られた結晶の懸濁液から結晶を分離するステップと、
c)結晶を乾燥させるステップと、
d)結晶を選別するステップと、
e)粉状組成物を回収するステップと、を含む方法にも関する。
d.1)ジグザグ分級機に、平均算術径が80〜145μmのマンニトール結晶で形成される粉状組成物を供給し、
d.2)算術径が100〜300μm、好ましくは120〜270μm、一層好ましくは150〜250μm、なお一層好ましくは170〜230μmであり、なおかつレーザー粒度分析によって求めた体積粒度分布が、0.1〜60%、好ましくは1〜55%、一層好ましくは1〜40%、なお一層好ましくは1〜35%の粒子が250μmを超えるものであるマンニトール結晶で形成される粉状組成物の画分を回収できるように一次空気流量を調節する。
−パン焼き(揚げ菓子(「ドーナツ」)などのケーキのデコレーションで、特にその流動性能によって、パンおよびケーキ製造用の混合用途での秤量および混合システムで、業務でのパン焼き(各秤量)または業務でのケーキ製造、

−サシェ、硬質ゼラチンカプセルおよび錠剤などの医薬品の形態、
−インスタント調製物、
−香料用のキャリア
−強力な甘味料用のキャリア、
−シリアルおよび朝食用シリアル(アイシングあり)、
−砂糖無添加のソース
の分野などの他の何らかの目的に用いることを妨げるものは何もない。
96%のマンニトールを含有するマンニトールシロップを、欧州特許第0 202 168号明細書に従って結晶化した。
実施例1の粉末を、本出願人によって商品名Mannitol 35およびMannitol 60で販売されている結晶マンニトールで形成される粉末ならびに、藻類からのマンニトール抽出物から結晶化させたマンニトール粉末(商品名BRIGHTMOON(登録商標)結晶マンニトールで販売されているマンニトール)と比較した。これらの測定の結果を表2にあげておく。
実験室でケーキング試験を実施する。この試験は、マンニトールの大袋(500〜1500kgの粉末が入った袋)で見られるケーキングのシミュレーションを可能にするものである。
TOGUMブランドの製造ライン(BOSCH−TOGUM)でチューインガムを工業的に製造する。

Claims (11)
- (i)溶媒からのマンニトールの結晶化と、続いて(ii)得られた結晶の懸濁液から前記結晶を分離するステップと、(iii)造粒または噴霧乾燥以外の方法で前記結晶を乾燥させるステップと、(iv)選別するステップとによって得られる、多面体構造のマンニトール結晶で形成される粉状組成物であって、前記結晶が、凝集体または噴霧によって得られる粉末によっては構成されず、レーザー粒度分析によって求めた体積粒度分布が、
−72〜99.9%の粒子が粒度75μmを超え、
−0.1〜60%の粒子が250μmを超えるものであり、
−平均直径が100〜300μmである、粉状組成物。 - 流れ等級が55以上である、請求項1に記載の粉状組成物。
- マンニトールの豊富さが96〜100重量%である、請求項1または2のいずれかに記載の粉状組成物。
- 圧縮率が30〜15%である、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の粉状組成物。
- 曝気密度が0.480g/mlを超え、充填密度が0.700〜0.860g/mlである、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の粉状組成物。
- マンニトール結晶で形成される粉状組成物を製造するための方法であって、前記結晶が、凝集体または噴霧によって得られる粉末によっては構成されず、且つ、レーザー粒度分析によって求めた体積粒度分布が、72〜99.9%の粒度75μmを超える粒子、0.1〜60%の250μmを超える粒子、100〜300μmの平均直径を呈し、
a)溶媒からマンニトールを結晶化するステップと、
b)得られた結晶の懸濁液から前記結晶を分離するステップと、
c)造粒または噴霧乾燥以外の方法で前記結晶を乾燥させるステップと、
d)前記結晶を選別するステップと、
e)前記粉状組成物を回収するステップと、を含み、
前記粉状組成物の結晶が、前記溶媒からの結晶化の工程によって形成される、方法。 - 選別の前記ステップd)が、ふるい分けによって、あるいは空気分級機を用いて実施される、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 選別の前記ステップd)が、ジグザグ分級機を用いて実施される、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 選別の前記ステップd)が、いくつかのステージを含むジグザグ分級機を用いて実施される、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 粒子を選別する前記ステップd)が、流路を1本しか含まないジグザグ分級機によって実施される、請求項8または9のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 選別の前記ステップd)が、以下のステップ:
d.1)ジグザグ分級機に、平均算術径が80〜145μmのマンニトール結晶で形成される粉状組成物を供給し、
