Description
本出願は、2009年3月6日に出願された、発明の名称を「可撓性チューブを閉塞するための装置および方法」と題する米国仮特許出願番号第61/158,174号に基づく優先権を主張し、その内容はその全体が参照によって本明細書に取り込まれる。
本発明は、可撓性チューブのある区間の内腔を、該チューブの管壁を押圧することによって閉塞しまたは締め付けるための装置および方法に関する。典型的な用途では、本発明は、患者の血管と流体連通している可撓性チューブの部分的なまたは完全な閉塞に関するものである。
Claims (15)
- 可撓性チューブ(20)の内腔を締め付ける装置であって、該装置が
該可撓性チューブの区間を取り付けるための閉塞具組み立て体(100)を含み、該閉塞具組み立て体が、
前方端および後方端を有するフレーム(150)であって、該前方端が前方把持具(152)に連結されまたは該前方把持具と一体化されており、該前方把持具が該閉塞具組み立て体の前方端において該可撓性チューブを保持する、フレーム;
前方端および後方端を有する基部(120)であって、該前方端が該フレームの後方端に摺動自在に連結されており、該基部の後方端が後方把持具(160)に連結されまたは該後方把持具と一体化されており、該後方把持具が該閉塞具組み立て体の後方端において該可撓性チューブを保持する、基部;
フレーム上に配置されている少なくとも一つの閉塞具(110)であって、該閉塞具が閉塞端(111)および連結端(113)を有するアームを含んでおり、該連結端は該基部の前方端に枢動自在に連結されており、該閉塞端は該可撓性チューブの区間を押圧する閉塞位置まで該閉塞具を付勢するように構成された(バネ力を包含する)弾性力(140)の下にある、少なくとも一つの閉塞具;および
少なくとも一つの閉塞具止め具(151)であって、該閉塞具止め具が該前方把持具に連結されまたは該前方把持具と一体化されており、該閉塞具止め具が該閉塞具の該閉塞端に係合して該閉塞具の該閉塞端が閉塞位置まで動くのを阻止するように構成されている、少なくとも一つの閉塞具止め具;
を含み、
該閉塞具組み立て体が、該可撓性チューブが該閉塞具組み立て体に配置されているときに、人の腕または身体の他の部分にテープ止めされた留置針またはカテーテル一式装置の外れを引き起こしうる所定量の張力が該チューブにかかると、該フレームまたは該基部が互いから引き離され、該前方把持具と該閉塞具との間の距離が増加し、該閉塞具が該閉塞具止め具との係合から解放されて該可撓性チューブの区間を押圧するように構成されている、装置。 - 該基部と該フレームの前方端との間の該フレームに摺動自在に配置されたアクチュエータ(130)であって、該アクチュエータが該閉塞具のアームに接触しており、該アクチュエータが該フレームの前方端に向かって摺動すると、該アームの閉塞端が該フレーム上で閉塞位置に向って動くように付勢されているアクチュエータを含んでいる、請求項1に記載された装置。
- 該アクチュエータと該基部との間に取り付けられたアクチュエータバネ(140)であって、該アクチュエータバネが、該アクチュエータを該基部から離れさせ該フレームの前方端に向かって動くように付勢するように構成されており、それによって該閉塞具を該閉塞具止め具との係合から解放して該閉塞具を作動させるように構成されたアクチュエータバネをさらに含んでいる、請求項2に記載された装置。
- 該閉塞具のアームが段差状造作物(115)を含み、該閉塞具が該閉塞具止め具と係合しているときに、該段差状造作物に対向してアクチュエータが位置しまたは保持されることができる、請求項3に記載された装置。
- 該フレームが、該基部によって圧縮可能なトリガーバネ(170)を含み、該前方把持具および該後方把持具によって保持された該可撓性チューブに張力をかかると該閉塞具が作動するように構成されており、該張力が該トリガーバネを圧縮して該フレームまたは該基部が互いから引き離されて該フレームの前方端と該基部との間の距離を増加させるものである、請求項3に記載された装置。
- 該トリガーバネが圧縮可能なリング(170)を含み、該フレームの後方端が該トリガーバネに隣接したスロット(157)を含み、該基部が該スロット内に配置されたダボ(161)を含み、該フレームの前方端と該基部との間の距離を増加させる該フレームまたは該基部が互いから引き離される動きが、該ダボと該トリガーバネとの接触をもたらし、該距離のさらなる増加が該ダボによって該トリガーバネが圧縮されるときのみに生じるものである、請求項5に記載された装置。
- 該前方把持具が、通路の中に該可撓性チューブの区間が置かれることができる該通路を規定し、該通路の表面は稜線、リブ、斜交平行線およびスケールからなる群から選択された隆起状造作物を有し、前方ラッチ(153)が該前方把持具に蝶番によって取り付けられ、該前方ラッチが該通路のまわりに閉じられることができる、請求項1に記載された装置。
- 該後方把持具が、通路の中に該可撓性チューブの区間が置かれることができる該通路を規定し、該通路の表面は稜線、リブ、斜交平行線およびスケールからなる群から選択された隆起状造作物を有し、後方ラッチ(163)が該後方把持具に蝶番によって取り付けられ、該後方ラッチが該通路のまわりに閉じられることができる、請求項1に記載された装置。
- 該基部、該フレームおよび該閉塞具を人の腕の表面に装着するための取り付け台(180)をさらに含み、該取り付け台が該基部に連結可能でありかつ一つ以上の伸長部または翼(181)を有し、該伸長部にテープまたは粘着剤が施与されて該取り付け台が該人の腕の表面に固定されることができる、請求項1に記載された装置。
- 該取り付け台が、該基部に枢動自在に連結可能であり(182)、該基部、該フレームおよび該閉塞具が、該取り付け台が装着されている該人の腕の表面と概して平行である面内で回動することが可能である、請求項9に記載された装置。
- 該取り付け台が、該基部に摺動自在に連結可能である(186)、請求項9に記載された装置。
- 該取り付け台が、部材(186)に取り付けられることができ、該部材は該基部のスロット(121)を通して該基部に摺動自在に連結されかつ該フレームの陥凹部(159)内に摺動自在に配置され、該後方把持具によって保持された該可撓性チューブの区間への張力が、該部材と相対的に該基部を動かして、該フレームまたは該基部が互いから引き離される動きを可能にし、それによって該フレームの前方端と該基部との間の距離を増加させ、該閉塞具止め具が該閉塞具の該閉塞端から解係合されるものである、請求項11に記載された装置。
- 該フレームが支柱(155)を含み、該支柱が該取り付け台上の一対のカム要素(188a、188b)に接触することができ、一方向への該フレームの回動が該支柱と第一カム要素(188a)との接触を生じさせることができ、他方向への該フレームの回動が該支柱と第二カム要素(188b)との接触を生じさせることができ、当該接触が該フレームまたは該基部が互いから引き離される動きを引き起こす力を生じ、それによって該フレームの前方端と該基部との間の距離を増加させ、該閉塞具止め具が該閉塞具の該閉塞端から解係合されるものである、請求項10に記載された装置。
- 該少なくとも一つの閉塞具が、二つ以上の閉塞具を含み、それぞれの閉塞具が該基部の前方端に枢動自在に連結され、および該少なくとも一つの閉塞具止め具が、二つ以上の閉塞具止め具を含み、それぞれの閉塞具止め具が該二つ以上の閉塞具のそれぞれ一つと係合するように構成されている、請求項1に記載された装置。
- 該可撓性チューブへの当該所定量の張力が、該前方把持具と該後方把持具との間の該可撓性チューブの少なくとも一部を伸張させることを含むものである、請求項1に記載された装置。
