Description
1)オフ:そのOLEDにおける電圧降下はゼロに等しいか、又は第1電圧レベルV1よりも低く、V1は非常に低く、すなわち数マイクロボルト程度である。
2)オン:そのOLEDにおける電圧降下は、第2電圧レベルV2よりも高く、V2は数ボルト程度である:典型的な値は4Vである。
3)そのOLEDにおける電圧降下がV1とV2との間である、中間状態;この状態は、以下においてトワイライト(twilight)状態として示される。
Claims (12)
- OLEDを駆動する方法であり、前記OLEDは特性しきい値電圧を有し、該特性しきい値電圧の上では前記OLEDはオンであると見なされ、当該方法は、前記OLEDをオン及びオフに切り替えるステップを含み;
ゼロとゼロよりも高い所定の電圧レベルとの間の電圧範囲内の電圧を電圧源が前記OLEDに供給しようとすることに応答して、前記OLEDと前記電圧源との間の接続を遮断するステップを含む、方法。 - 前記所定の電圧レベルは、前記特性しきい値電圧に等しいか又は最大2Vさらに低い、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記所定の電圧レベルは、前記特性しきい値電圧に等しいか又は最大2Vさらに高い、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法であり、駆動電圧を生成し、該駆動電圧をゼロから前記電圧範囲の上の動作値に増加させるか又は該駆動電圧を前記動作値からゼロへ減少させるステップを含み、前記駆動電圧が前記電圧範囲内にある限り、該駆動電圧を前記OLEDに印加することが阻止される、方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法であり、駆動電圧を生成し、該駆動電圧をゼロから前記電圧範囲の上の動作値に増加させるか又は該駆動電圧を前記動作値からゼロへ減少させるステップを含み、前記電圧範囲内の前記駆動電圧の上昇傾斜又は下降傾斜は、少なくとも100V/sである、方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法であり、駆動電圧を生成し、該駆動電圧を前記OLEDに印加するステップを含み、該駆動電圧が前記電圧範囲内にある場合、前記OLEDにおける電流の流れが阻止される、方法。
- OLEDを駆動するドライバ・デバイスであり:
‐OLED駆動電圧を供給するための、電圧源出力端子を有する電圧源;
‐それぞれの電圧源出力端子に結合された、OLEDに接続するためのデバイス出力端子;
‐前記電圧源出力端子のうち1つと対応するデバイス出力端子との間に配置された電圧で制御されるブロッキング素子を含む出力段であり、該ブロッキング素子は、電圧源出力端子での出力電圧がゼロとゼロよりも高い所定の電圧レベルとの間の電圧範囲内にあることに応答して、前記OLEDと前記電圧源との間の接続を遮断する、出力段、
を含むドライバ・デバイス。 - 請求項7に記載のドライバ・デバイスであり、前記出力段は:
前記電圧源出力端子のうち1つと前記デバイス出力端子のうち1つとの間において直列に接続された制御可能なスイッチ;
‐前記電圧源の瞬間出力電圧を示す測定信号を供給するために、前記電圧源出力端子に結合された電圧センサ;
‐前記電圧センサからの前記測定信号を受け取るように結合され、前記制御可能なスイッチが、前記瞬間出力電圧が前記所定の電圧レベルよりも低い場合に非導電性であり、前記瞬間出力電圧が前記所定の電圧レベルよりも高い場合に導電性であるように、前記制御可能なスイッチを制御するように設計された、制御デバイス;
を含むドライバ・デバイス。 - 請求項7に記載のドライバ・デバイスであり、前記出力段は:
前記電圧源出力端子のうち1つと前記デバイス出力端子のうち1つとの間に直列に接続された制御可能なスイッチ;
前記電圧源出力端子に結合された2つの抵抗器の直列配置、を含み、前記2つの抵抗器の間のノードが、前記制御可能なスイッチの制御入力端子に結合されている、ドライバ・デバイス。 - 前記制御可能なスイッチは少なくとも1つのFETを含む、請求項8又は9に記載のドライバ・デバイス。
- 当該ドライバ・デバイスは、請求項1乃至6のいずれか1項に記載の方法を実施するように設計されている、請求項7乃至10のいずれか1項に記載のドライバ・デバイス。
- 請求項7乃至11のいずれか1項に記載のドライバ・デバイスとOLEDとを含む、照明装置。
