Claims (14)
- 埋込型医療機器とともに使用するための外部充電器であって、
前記埋込型医療機器によって受け取ることができるエネルギーを生成し、前記埋込型医療機器に電力を供給するか又はそれを充電するためのコイルと、
前記外部充電器の温度を検出し、温度設定点の方が前記外部充電器の検出された温度よりも低くなったとき前記コイルの活性化を無効化するか又は減少させるための温度モニタ及び制御回路と、
充電セッション中に、前記温度設定点を前記温度モニタ及び制御回路に指示するための温度プログラムを備えたメモリと、
を備え、
前記温度設定点が充電セッション中に低下するように構成されている、
ことを特徴とする外部充電器。 - 前記温度設定点は、第1の期間の間は第1の温度設定点に設定され、前記第1の期間後の第2の期間の間は第2の温度設定点に設定されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の外部充電器。
- 前記第1の温度設定点は前記第2の温度設定点より高く、前記第1の期間は前記第2の期間より短いことを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の外部充電器。
- 前記温度プログラムは、前記充電セッションの開始時に自動的に実行されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の外部充電器。
- 前記温度モニタ及び制御回路は、所定の充電時間の後に前記コイルの活性化を無効化することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の外部充電器。
- 埋込型医療機器とともに使用するための外部充電器であって、
前記埋込型医療機器によって受け取ることができるエネルギーを生成し、前記埋込型医療機器に電力を供給するか又はそれを充電するように選択的に活性化されるコイルと、
前記外部充電器の温度を検出するための温度感知素子と、
充電セッション中に前記外部充電器の温度がプログラム可能最高温度を越えるとき、前記コイルの活性化を無効化するか又は減少させるように構成された制御回路と、
を備え、
前記最高温度は前記充電セッション中に時間とともに自動的に低下するようにプログラムされる、
ことを特徴とする外部充電器。 - ユーザインタフェースを更に備え、前記ユーザインタフェースは、前記プログラム可能最高温度の選択を可能にするように構成されることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の外部充電器。
- 前記ユーザインタフェースは、前記プログラム可能最高温度を複数の事前定義された最高温度から選択するように構成されることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の外部充電器。
- 前記最高温度は、充電セッションの第1の部分の間の第1のプログラム可能最高温度、及び前記第1の部分よりも後の前記充電セッションの第2の部分の間の第2のプログラム可能最高温度を備える、
ことを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の外部充電器。 - 前記第1のプログラム可能最高温度は前記第2のプログラム可能最高温度より高いことを特徴とする、請求項9に記載の外部充電器。
- 前記制御回路は、所定の充電時間の後に前記コイルの活性化を無効化することを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の外部充電器。
- 前記制御回路は、前記充電セッション中に、前記外部充電器の温度がプログラム可能最低温度より低くなるとき、前記コイルの活性化を有効化するようにさらに構成され、
前記最低温度は前記充電セッション中に時間とともに自動的に低下するようにプログラムされる、
ことを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の外部充電器。 - 前記制御回路は、前記充電セッション中に、前記外部充電器の温度が前記プログラム可能最高温度より低くなるとき、前記コイルの活性化を有効にするように構成されることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の外部充電器。
- エネルギーを受け取って埋込型医療機器を動作させるための電力を供給するための第1のコイルを備えた前記埋込型医療機器と、
前記第1のコイルによって受け取ることができるエネルギーを生成するように選択的に活性化される第2のコイル、及び、外部充電器の部分の温度を検出するための温度感知素子を備えた制御回路、を備えた前記外部充電器と、
を備え、
前記制御回路は、前記外部充電器の温度がプログラム可能最高温度を超えるとき、前記第2のコイルの活性化を無効化するか又は減少させるように構成されており、
前記プログラム可能最高温度は、充電セッション中に時間とともに自動的に低下する、ことを特徴とするシステム。
