Claims (2)
- 可撓性の材料からなる袋状体容器または熱伝導性の高い金属材料からなる、脳表部を冷却するための薄型容器に温度検知センサが付設されてなり脳表部に近接して埋設される冷却部と、該冷却部に連結され冷却水を循環移送するカテーテルと前記温度検知センサへの配線とからなる連結接続部と、該連結接続部のカテーテルに連結され冷却水が滞留し冷却器が付設されたリザーバと該リザーバと前記冷却部との間で前記カテーテルを介して冷却水循環動作を行うポンプとを備えた放熱部と、前記冷却部における温度検知センサに配線を介して接続されるとともに前記放熱部におけるポンプ及び冷却器の各々と配線を介して接続され検知された温度に基づき体内要冷却箇所を所定温度に冷却するように前記冷却器及びポンプの動作制御を行う制御部とを備え、前記冷却部が脳表部に接して頭蓋内に設置され、前記制御部は脳表部温度が15〜25℃の温度範囲になるように制御を行うもので
あることを特徴とするてんかん発作抑制装置。 - 前記冷却部の可撓性材料からなる袋状体容器または熱伝導性の高い金属材料からなる、脳表部を冷却するための薄型容器においてさらに脳波検知電極が付設され、前記連結接続部において前記脳波検知電極と前記制御部とを接続する配線がさらに備えられ、前記制御部において前記温度検知センサ及び前記脳波検知電極によりそれぞれ検知された温度及び脳波検知信号に基づき冷却箇所を所定温度に冷却するように前記冷却器及びポンプの制御を行うようにしたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のてんかん発作抑制装置。
