Description
逆空間情報Gを主復号化部12で復元される多チャンネルオーディオ信号を再生する環境に相応して変更するとは、空間情報Hを設定したときと、スピーカセッティング(speaker setting)が異なる場合に、変更したスピーカセッティングに基づき、空間情報Hを変更し、式(3)から逆空間情報Gを求めることを意味している。また、変更したスピーカセッティングに適合した逆空間情報Gを求めることであってもよい。
前述したように、比率計算部152が復元したサラウンド成分と多チャンネルオーディオ信号との比率を計算することによって付加情報を生成する場合の、演算部136(図9参照)の構成及び動作は次のようになる。

Claims (1)
- ビットストリームからダウンミキシングされたステレオ信号を受信するステップと、
前記ビットストリームから、前記ダウンミキシングされたステレオ信号に含まれるチャンネルとのレベル差を含む空間情報に対応する付加情報を受信するステップと、
前記付加情報と一緒に逆HRTF(inverse Head-Related Transfer Function)を前記ダウンミキシングされたステレオ信号に適用して得られる信号をアップミキシングして、多チャンネル信号を生成するステップとを含む空間情報を使用した多チャンネルオーディオ信号生成方法。
