Claims (13)
- 半径r1および外側光クラッドに対する正である屈折率差Dn1を有する中央コアと、
半径r2および外側光クラッドに対する屈折率差Dn2を有する中間クラッドと、
半径r3および−3.0×10−3以下である外側光クラッドに対する屈折率差Dn3を有するディプレスト内側クラッドと
を備え、
1550nmの波長で、21ps/nm/km以上である正の波長分散、および0.7以下であるファイバ中を伝搬する基本モードLP01のモード半径(W02)を中間クラッドの半径で割った比(W02/r2)を有し、
中央コアの半径r 1 が、4.0×10 −3 と6.5×10 −3 との間に含まれる外側光クラッドに対する屈折率差Dn 1 に対して4μmと6.50μmとの間に含まれ、
ディプレスト内側クラッドの半径r 3 が、12μmと16μmとの間にあり、
中間クラッドの屈折率差Dn 2 が、0.0×10 −3 と2.0×10 −3 との間に含まれ、
中間クラッドの半径r 2 が、6μmと11μmとの間に含まれ、かつ
中間クラッドの幅(r 2 −r 1 )が、2.0μmと4.5μmとの間である、分散補償光ファイバ。 - 1550nmの波長で105ps/nm/dB以上である性能指数(FOM)を有する、請求項1に記載のファイバ。
- ディプレスト内側クラッドが−3.5×10−3以下である外側光クラッドに対する屈折率差Dn3を有する、請求項1または2に記載のファイバ。
- 10mmの曲げ半径に対して1625nmの波長で1dB/m以下である曲げ損失を有する、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載のファイバ。
- 同一の制約下で1550nmの波長でSSMFのマイクロベンド損失の0.8倍未満であるマイクロベンド損失を有する、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載のファイバ。
- 1550nmの波長で基本モードに対して80μm2以上である実効面積(Aeff)を有する、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載のファイバ。
- 1600nm以下である実効遮断波長(λceff)を有する、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載のファイバ。
- ディプレスト内側クラッド内に1550nmの波長でエネルギーの1.3%未満を有する、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載のファイバ。
- 請求項1から8のいずれか一項のファイバの少なくとも一部分を含む分散補償光モジュール。
- 1550nmの波長で1338ps/nmの累積波長分散に対して12.5dB以下である挿入損失を有する、請求項9に記載のモジュール。
- 1530nmと1570nmとの間に含まれる波長で1338ps/nmの累積波長分散に対して13dB以下である挿入損失を有する、請求項9または10に記載のモジュール。
- 1550nmの波長で0.50ps以下である偏波モード分散を有する、請求項9から11のいずれか一項に記載のモジュール。
- ファイバの部分が丸く巻かれており、同一の累積波長分散値でSSMFを受け取るハウジングの容積よりも少なくとも25%小さい容積を有するハウジングを有する、請求項9から12のいずれか一項に記載のモジュール。
