Claims (14)
- ファンブレードの周方向の列を有するファンと、
前記ファンを取り囲むファンケースと、
少なくとも一つの圧縮機セクションと、
燃焼器と、
少なくとも一つのタービンセクションと、
を備えたターボファンエンジンであって、前記ファンケースが、
複合構造部材と、
前記複合構造部材に取り囲まれ、かつ、前記ブレードに近接して該複合構造部材とは異なる熱膨張を可能にするように該複合構造部材に取り付けられた、金属部材と、
を備え、
前記複合構造部材と前記金属部材とが互いに関して径方向に膨張または収縮できるように、前記金属部材が前記複合構造部材に取り付けられた、ターボファンエンジン。 - 前記複合構造部材が、有機マトリックス複合材料を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のターボファンエンジン。
- 前記金属部材によって支持されたアブレイダブルライナをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のターボファンエンジン。
- 前記アブレイダブルライナが非金属であり、
前記アブレイダブルライナと前記金属部材との間に径方向に金属ハニカムが配置されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のターボファンエンジン。 - 前記金属部材上の複数の径方向外側の開口チャネルと、
前記チャネルによって収容された、複数の径方向内側に突出した部材と、
をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のターボファンエンジン。 - 前記径方向外側の開口チャネルの各々が、互いに周方向に反対側を向いて外側に突出した足部と、径方向外側に突出した脚部と、を有する一対のL字断面の金属ブラケットによって形成され、
前記径方向内側への突出部材の各々が、径方向内側突出部と、それぞれ該径方向内側突出部の周方向両側に取り付けられるとともに関連する前記チャネルの対応する側面と接触または向かい合うように取り付けられた少なくとも一対の摩耗パッドと、を備え、
4個〜10個の前記チャネルを備え、
前記金属部材の後方の前記複合構造部材の一部が取付けリングに固定され、
前記金属部材の後方の前記複合構造部材の一部がガイドベーンリングを取り囲むとともにこれに取り付けられる、
ことのうち、少なくとも一つを備えることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のターボファンエンジン。 - 前記金属部材が、
該金属部材の前方部分によって取り囲まれた内径ライナを有する第1のハニカムと、
前記第1のハニカムの後方の前記金属部材によって取り囲まれた第2のハニカムと、
前記第2のハニカムによって取り囲まれた摩耗ストリップと、
を備えたカートリッジ内にあることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のターボファンエンジン。 - 前記第1のハニカムが金属ハニカムを備え、
前記第2のハニカムが内径アルミニウム合金隔壁を有するアルミニウム合金ハニカムを備え、
前記摩耗ストリップが、エポキシが充填されたアラミド繊維ハニカムを備えるとともに、それぞれ後方に向かって径方向に収束する内径面および外径面を有することを特徴とする請求項7に記載のターボファンエンジン。 - 前記金属部材の熱膨張は、後端に比較して前端において拘束されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のターボファンエンジン。
- 請求項1に記載のターボファンエンジンの運転方法であって、
ゼロ速度、ファンケース初期温度、および初期高度の初期状態からエンジンを加速させ、
ゼロ以外の巡航速度、前記ファンケース初期温度を下回るファンケース巡航温度、および前記初期高度を上回る巡航高度の巡航状態へとエンジンを飛行させることを備え、
前記エンジンが前記初期状態から前記巡航状態へと進むに従い、前記異なる熱膨張により、前記複合構造部材に比較して前記金属部材を径方向に収縮させることを備えた、ターボファンエンジンの運転方法。 - 前記径方向収縮は、前記金属部材の前端に近接した相対的な径方向収縮に比べ、前記金属部材の後端に近接した相対的な径方向収縮のほうが大きいことを特徴とする請求項10に記載の運転方法。
- 前記径方向収縮が、前記金属部材の前端に近接して機械的に阻止されることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の運転方法。
- 複合構造部材と、
前記複合構造部材に取り囲まれ、かつ、少なくとも局所的に該複合構造部材とは異なる熱膨張を可能にするように該複合構造部材に取り付けられた金属部材と、
を備え、
前記複合構造部材と前記金属部材とが互いに関して径方向に膨張または収縮できるように、前記金属部材が前記複合構造部材に取り付けられた、ターボファンエンジンファンケース。 - 前記複合構造部材が、有機マトリックス複合材料を備えることを特徴とする請求項13に記載のターボファンエンジンファンケース。
