Claims (3)
- 対象物の経路に沿って空間的に延びる長さ方向に沿って所定の空間的な検知パターンに従って複数の検知要素が配列され、各検知要素による検知と、検知結果の符号化の両方を実施し、対象物の経路に沿った前記検知パターンに応じた符号化データを出力する符号器付センサを用いる方法であって、
前記符号器付センサを作動させることで、前記符号器付センサに相対する領域である検知と符号化を行う領域内で相対運動を行う対象物から検知結果を取得する行為を含み、前記検知要素は、光検知およびインピーダンスに基づく検知のうちの少なくとも1つを実施し、前記検知結果は、前記対象物の相対運動に応じた1つ以上の時間変化波形を示し、
前記符号器付センサを作動させる行為は、
空間的に非周期的な前記検知パターンに基づく非周期的な時間変化波形を取得するステップと、
2つ以上の空間的な前記検知パターンのセットを重畳またはスケーリングして重畳した複合検知パターンに基づく重畳時間変化波形を取得するステップと、
前記符号器付センサ内で複数の光検知セルを含む1つ以上のアレイであって各々が別個のIC上にあるアレイを用いて、1つ以上の前記検知パターンに基づくグループ単位で前記複数の光検知セルのセットから光検知された値を読み出して、読み出した前記光検知値を合成することで、前記検知パターンに基づく1つ以上の時間変化波形を示す検知結果を取得するステップと、
のうちの少なくとも1つを含む符号器付センサを用いる方法。 - 対象物の経路の長手方向に沿って空間的に延びた長手方向列として所定の空間的な検知パターンに従って複数の検知要素が配列され、各検知要素による検知と、検知結果の符号化の両方を実施し、対象物の経路に沿った空間的な前記検知パターンに応じた符号化データを出力する符号器付センサであって、
前記長手方向列は、符号器付センサに相対する検知と符号化を行う領域内で相対運動をする対象物について光検知またはインピーダンスに基づく検知を実施し、2つ以上の空間的な前記検知パターンのセットを重畳またはスケーリングして重畳した複合検知パターンに基づく検知結果を取得する、符号器付センサ。 - 対象物の経路に沿って空間的に延びる長さ方向に沿って複数の検知要素が所定の空間的な検知パターンに従って配列される検知要素機構であって、前記検知要素機構に相対する複数の検知領域内で相対運動を行う前記対象物の前記相対運動に応じて、前記検知パターンに応じた1つ以上の時間変化波形を示す検知結果を取得する検知要素機構と、
前記検知結果を受け取り、それに応じて、前記少なくとも1つの対象物の前記相対運動から生じた情報を示すデータを提供する処理コンポーネントと、
を有するシステムであって、
前記検知要素機構は、
動作時に、光検知またはインピーダンスに基づく検知を実施して、検知された非周期的な時間変化波形を示す検知結果を取得する、前記検知要素の空間的に非周期的な配列と、
動作時に、光検知またはインピーダンスに基づく検知を実施し、2つ以上の空間的な検知パターンのセットを重畳またはスケーリングして重畳した複合検知パターンに基づいた時間変化波形を示す検知結果を取得する複数の検知要素の長手方向列と、
IC化された1つ以上の検知要素と、
のうちの少なくとも1つを含み、
IC化された前記各検知要素は、
各IC上に設けられ、各々が複数の光検知セルのセットを含む1つ以上のアレイと、
1つ以上の前記空間的な検知パターンに基づくグループ単位で前記複数の光検知セルのセットから光検知された値を読み出して、読み出した値を合成することで、前記検知パターンに基づく1つ以上の時間変化波形を示す検知結果を取得する読み出し及び合成回路と、
を有する、システム。
