Claims (6)
- 送信デバイスおよび複数の受信デバイスを備えるMIMO通信システムにおいてプリコーディング情報のフィードバックを制御する方法であって、前記送信デバイスは、それぞれの伝送チャネルを通じて各受信デバイスと通信し、前記方法が、
前記複数の受信デバイスが、前記送信デバイスにプリコーディング情報を不必要にフィードバックしないように、前記複数の受信デバイスからのプリコーディング情報のフィードバックを制御するためのフィードバック制御情報を、各受信デバイスのために前記送信デバイスにおいて生成することと、
前記複数の受信デバイスにフィードバック制御情報を送信することと、
前記複数の受信デバイスのうちの1つまたは複数からのプリコーディング情報を前記送信デバイスにおいて受信することと、
を含み、
各受信デバイスは、フィードバック制御情報を評価してフィードバック制約を決定し、前記フィードバック制約は、各受信デバイスが前記送信デバイスにフィードバックを与えるときを判定するために使用される閾値であり、
前記フィードバック制御情報を生成することは、
前記複数の受信デバイスについてのメトリック分布を推定することと、
該メトリック分布から前記閾値を計算することと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記フィードバック制御情報は、各受信デバイスが、プリコーディング情報を前記送信デバイスにフィードバックするためのタイム・スロットを指定するスケジュールを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記フィードバック制御情報を送信することは、ダウンリンク制御チャネルを通じて各受信デバイスに同期信号を送出することを含み、
前記同期信号は、前記受信デバイスのために前記タイム・スロットを指定する、請求項2に記載の方法。 - 前記閾値は、メトリック値を指定し、前記メトリック値は、スケジューリング・フェアネス指数、チャネル容量、チャネル・フロベニウス・ノルム、チャネル品質インジケータ、CINR値、またはSINR値を含む、請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 無線ロング・ターム・エボリューション(LTE)通信システムにおいて使用する基地局であって、
各ユーザ・デバイスが、1つまたは複数のスケジューリング基準を評価して、プリコーディング情報が前記ユーザ・デバイスによってフィードバックされるかどうかを判定し、かつ、複数のフィードバック要因のうちの送信すべき1つまたは複数のフィードバック要因を判定するように、複数のユーザ・デバイスのそれぞれにおいて、プリコーディング情報のフィードバックをスケジューリングするための1つまたは複数のスケジューリング基準を規定するように動作可能なスケジューリング・ロジックと、
ダウンリンク・チャネルを使用して、前記複数のユーザ・デバイスに前記1つまたは複数のスケジューリング基準を送信するよう動作可能な送信ロジックと、
を備えており、
前記スケジューリング・ロジックは、前記複数のユーザ・デバイスについてのメトリック分布を推定し、少なくとも1つのユーザ・デバイスがフィードバック閾値を満たす所定の確率を有する様に、前記メトリック分布から前記フィードバック閾値を決定する様に動作可能である、基地局。 - 無線ロング・ターム・エボリューション(LTE)通信システムにおいて使用する基地局であって、
各ユーザ・デバイスが、1つまたは複数のスケジューリング基準を評価して、プリコーディング情報が前記ユーザ・デバイスによってフィードバックされるかどうかを判定し、かつ、複数のフィードバック要因のうちの送信すべき1つまたは複数のフィードバック要因を判定するように、複数のユーザ・デバイスのそれぞれにおいて、プリコーディング情報のフィードバックをスケジューリングするための1つまたは複数のスケジューリング基準を規定するように動作可能なスケジューリング・ロジックと、
ダウンリンク・チャネルを使用して、前記複数のユーザ・デバイスに前記1つまたは複数のスケジューリング基準を送信するよう動作可能な送信ロジックと、
を備えており、
前記スケジューリング・ロジックは、前記複数のユーザ・デバイスについてのメトリック分布を推定し、かつ、該メトリック分布から複数のフィードバック閾値を決定するように動作可能であり、各閾値は1つまたは複数のユーザ・デバイスに割り当てられる、基地局。
