前記装置は更に、前記移動針(142)上に窓(142)を備え、
前記縫合針(132)は、前記窓(142)を通って配置され得、
前記窓(142)は、2つの実質的に平行な側面(66)、前記移動針(128)の窓(142)の遠位端を画定する支え面(70)、及び前記移動針(128)の窓(142)の近位端を画定する干渉域(72)を有し、

- 前記縫合針を前記捕獲針内で受け取るための前記捕獲針において縫合糸捕獲窓を更に含むことを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の装置。
- 前記縫合針は、その遠位端から延伸する傾斜面を含み、前記縫合糸捕獲窓はまた、傾斜面を含み、更に前記縫合針の傾斜面および前記縫合糸捕獲窓の傾斜面は、互いに対応するように構成され、そのため、前記縫合針は、前記縫合針を前記縫合糸捕獲窓へ、または前記縫合糸捕獲窓から導くのを助けるために、前記縫合糸捕獲窓の傾斜面に沿ってスライドし、傾斜することを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の装置。

- 装置が処置の部位に挿入されるときに前記移動針および前記捕獲針を被覆するための、引っ込み可能な挿入シースを更に含み、前記近位駆動部は、前記挿入シースを引っ込め、前進させるための挿入シース駆動装置を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記移動針および前記捕獲針を前記挿入シース駆動装置と結合される処置の部位に挿入する深度を制限するための深度制限装置を更に含むことを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の装置。
- 前記深度制限装置は、前記近位駆動部上に配置された深さゲージを含むことを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の装置。
- 前記挿入シース駆動装置は、前記近位駆動部においてスロットに沿って軸方向にスライドするボタンを含み、前記深さゲージは、前記スロットに沿って配置された目盛りが付けられた線を含み、そのため、前記シースは、前記スロットに沿って前記挿入シース駆動装置ボタンを選択された位置にスライドさせることによって、技師によって引っ込められ、前方にロックされた形態および後方にロックされた形態の間で、前記装置の挿入の深度を制御することができることを特徴とする、請求項9に記載の装置。
- 前記近位駆動部内に配置されたクリートを更に含み、前記クリートは、前記近位駆動部から延伸し及び該クリート上に予め締められた結び目を有する一本の縫合糸に取り付けられ、前記クリートは、張力を前記縫合糸に選択的に加えるように構成されていることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の装置。
- 配置前に、前記あらかじめ締められた結び目は前記シースの下に配置され、前記近位駆動部内に実質的に緩い一本の縫合糸を有してなることを特徴とする、請求項11に記載の装置。
- 前記あらかじめ締められた結び目は、装置が処置の部位から近位に引き離されるときに、前記移動針及び捕獲針と一本の縫合糸上を遠位にスライドし、同時に前記クリートが取り付けられた緩い一本の縫合糸の緩みが低減されていることを特徴とする、請求項12に記載の装置。
- 二硫化タングステンとともに注入された酸化物層が縫合針と前記縫合針及び前記移動針との間の摩擦を低減するために形成されてなることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記縫合針は、ニチノールを含み、前記移動針は、ステンレススチールを含むことを特徴とする、請求項14に記載の装置。
