Description
Claims (9)
- 複数のカセットを垂直方向に積み重ねた状態で受容する大きさの内部空洞を有するハウジングと、
前記ハウジング内にある電源、及び前記内部空洞内にあってその中に挿入された各カセットに前記電源を接続するための個々の電気接点と、
前記ハウジング内に挿入された各カセットのエレクトロトランスファ処理を個々に監視しかつ制御するための手段と、を有し、
前記監視しかつ制御するための手段は、プリント回路基板と前記電源を有し、前記プリント回路基板は、前記垂直方向に積み重ねた状態の複数のカセットの直に上方に位置決めされていることを特徴とするエレクトロトランスファ機器。 - 前記電気接点はバネ仕掛けの接点であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエレクトロトランスファ機器。
- 前記ハウジングは、前記カセットをスライドさせて入れる前方開口部を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエレクトロトランスファ機器。
- 前記ハウジングは、個々のカセットを前記ハウジング内に固定するように、前記ハウジングの後壁に取り付けられた磁気応答性材料製の磁気接点を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエレクトロトランスファ機器。
- 更に、カセットが前記ハウジング内に挿入された時だけ前記電気接点を前記電源に係合させることになる電気リレーを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエレクトロトランスファ機器。
- 前記ハウジングは、2〜6個のカセットを収納することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエレクトロトランスファ機器。
- 電気泳動的に分離された種をスラブゲルからシート状マトリックスへと転送する方法であって、該方法は、
(a)各スラブゲルとシート状マトリックスを、アノード板と、カソード板と、前記アノード板と前記カソード板の夫々のための外部電気接点とを有するエレクトロブロッティング・カセットに配置する工程と、
(b)各カセットを、
(i)複数のカセットを垂直方向に積み重ねた状態で受容する大きさの内部空洞を有するハウジングと、
(ii)前記ハウジング内にある電源、及び前記内部空洞内にあって前記電源を、前記各カセット上の前記外部電気接点に接続する個々の内部電気接点と、
(iii)前記ハウジング内に挿入された各カセットのエレクトロブロッティング処理を個々に監視しかつ制御するための手段であって、前記監視しかつ制御するための手段は、プリント回路基板と前記電源を有しかつ、前記プリント回路基板は、前記垂直方向に積み重ねた状態の複数のカセットの直に上方に位置決めされている、監視しかつ制御するための手段とを有する機器に挿入する工程と、
(c)挿入された各カセットの第1及び第2平板電極に電荷を印加し、前記種を前記スラブゲルから前記シート状マトリックスへと前記挿入されたカセット内で電気泳動的に移動させる工程とを有することを特徴とする方法。 - 前記ハウジングは、個々のカセットを前記ハウジング内に固定するように、前記ハウジングの後壁に取り付けられた磁気応答性材料製の磁気接点を有することを特徴とする請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記内部電気接点はバネ仕掛けの接点であることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の方法。
