Description
(a)電子供与体として作用することが可能な第1エレメント、
(b)電子受容体として作用することが可能な第2エレメントであって、前記第1および第2エレメントは、皮膚表面を横断して、一定距離だけ隔たっている、および
(c)皮膚表面を横断して、前記一定距離上に延在する第3エレメントであって、前記第1および第2エレメントを電気的に導通させるための導電性媒体を含み、これにより、電源が一切存在しない状態で、前記導電性媒体を通じて皮膚表面を横断して流れる電流を生成する、上記第3エレメント。
(a)電子供与体として作用することが可能な、第1の局所用または美容用組成物を収容した第1容器、
(b)電子受容体として作用することが可能な、第2の局所用または美容用組成物を収容した第2容器、および
(c)導電性媒体を含む、第3の局所用または美容用組成物を収容した第3容器。
(a)電子供与体として作用することが可能な、第1の局所用または美容用組成物を収容した第1容器、
(b)電子受容体として作用することが可能な、第2の局所用または美容用組成物を収容した第2容器、および
(c)皮膚表面に貼付するのに十分な接着性を有する、電導性媒体を含む基板パッチ。
Al-Cu電極を備えた美容用パッチ
美容用パッチを、2つの同一のヒドロゲルパッチ(長さ約2.5インチ、および幅1.5インチ)を背中合わせで配置することにより形成した。2つの細い金属含有ストリップのうち、一方は、長さ約6cm、幅6mmのアルミニウムホイルストリップであり、他方は、長さ約6cm、幅6mmで、銅で電気めっきされた布製ストリップであり、これらを上記2つのヒドロゲルパッチ間に挟んだ。2つの金属含有ストリップは、約1インチの距離で互いに隔てられ、かつ平行な位置関係で配置された。任意選択的に、ヒドロゲルパッチを通じて2つの金属含有ストリップ間を流れる電流強度が増加するように、ヒドロゲルパッチの1つの最上面に、電解質ゲルを塗布した。具体的には、当該電解質ゲルは、約91重量%の脱イオン水、約3重量%の塩化ナトリウム、約1重量%のフェノキシエタノール、および約5重量%のSepiplus(商標)400増粘剤または乳化剤を含んだ。Sepiplus(商標)400は、約60重量%のポリアクリレート13、約30重量%のポリイソブテン、5重量%のポリソルベート20、および5重量%の水を含む、新世代の水膨張性-滴下型増粘剤(hydro-swelling-droplet thickener)または乳化剤で、NJ、FairfieldのSeppic, Inc.から市販されている。
Al-Ag電極を備えた美容用パッチ
美容用パッチを、2つの同一のヒドロゲルパッチ(長さ約2.5インチ、および幅1.5インチ)を背中合わせで配置することにより形成した。2つの金属含有ストリップのうち、一方は、長さ約6cm、幅6mmのアルミニウムホイルストリップであり、他方は、長さ約6cm、幅6mmで、銀で電気めっきされた布製ストリップであり、これらを上記2つのヒドロゲルパッチ間に挟んだ。2つの金属含有ストリップは、約1インチの距離で互いに隔てられ、かつ平行な位置関係で配置された。
実施例3ですでに記載した、第1および第2の美容用組成物を、皮膚表面上において約1インチの距離で相隔たった2つ別個の5.5インチ×1インチストリップに、約0.5グラム/平方インチで塗布した。長さ約15cm、幅7.5cmのヒドロゲルパッチを、上記2つのスポットを電気的に導通させるように当該皮膚表面上に配置した。上記DIGITAL MULTIMETERの1つの電極を、約0.01〜2Ωの電気抵抗を有する金属導体を介して1つのスポットに接続し、また上記DIGITAL MULTIMETERのもう一方の電極を、等しい金属導体を介してもう一方のスポットに接続した。第1および第2の美容用組成物により生成され、ヒドロゲルパッチを通って流れる微小電流強度を一定時間測定した。
電極としてI型およびS型構造水を備えた美容用パッチ
100重量%のI型水、および100重量%のS型水をそれぞれ含む、第1および第2の美容用組成物を、皮膚表面上において約1インチの距離で相隔たった2つの6cm2スポットに、約1グラム/平方インチで塗布した。蒸留水に溶解した1重量%塩化ナトリウム(NaCl)を含む第3の美容用組成物を、上記2つのスポットを電気的に導通させるように当該皮膚表面上に塗布した。上記DIGITAL MULTIMETERの1つの電極を、約0.01〜2Ωの電気抵抗を有する金属導体を介して1つのスポットに接続し、また上記DIGITAL MULTIMETERのもう一方の電極を、等しい金属導体を介してもう一方のスポットに接続した。第1および第2の美容用組成物により生成され、ヒドロゲルパッチを通って流れる微小電流強度を一定時間測定した。測定開始後2分以内で、電流強度のピークとして約13.4μAが観測された。
比較試験
実施例3ですでに記載した、本発明の美容用パッチのしわ低減効果を試験し、数種類の対照設定と比較した。
Claims (10)
- 皮膚ダメージを予防もしくは治療するための局所用または美容用システムであって、以下:
(a)負に荷電した水分子クラスターを含むI構造水を含む第1局所用組成物、
(b)正に荷電した水分子クラスターを含むS構造水を含む第2局所用組成物であって、該第1および第2局所用組成物は皮膚表面を横切って一定距離だけ隔たって存在することができ、および
(c)皮膚と接触し、皮膚表面を横切る該一定距離にわたって延在することができる、該第1および第2局所用組成物を電気的に導通させるための導電性媒体
を含み、それによりいかなる電源もなしに該導電性媒体を通り皮膚表面を横切って流れる電流が生成される、上記システム。 - 前記負に荷電した水分子クラスターが、電子を供与することが可能なイオンもしくは分子または負に荷電した分子、あるいはその両者と結合する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記正に荷電した水分子クラスターが、電子を受容することが可能なイオンもしくは分子または正に荷電した分子、あるいはその両者と結合する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記第1および第2局所用組成物が2種の異なる元素金属を含み、その一方は第1局所用組成物のための電子供与体として作用し、他方は第2局所用組成物のための電子受容体として作用する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記第1局所用組成物がアニオン性ポリマーを含み、前記第2局所用組成物がカチオン性ポリマーを含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記導電性媒体が、以下:(1)電解質溶液、(2)ヒドロゲル、(3)伝導性接着剤、および(4)それらの組み合わせからなる群より選択される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 皮膚ダメージを予防もしくは治療するための局所用または美容用デバイスであって、少なくとも一方の側が皮膚表面への貼付に十分な接着性を有する基板パッチを含み、該基板パッチの第1領域は負に荷電した水分子クラスターを含むI構造水を含み、該基板パッチの第2領域は正に荷電した水分子クラスターを含むS構造水を含み、該第1および第2領域は該皮膚表面を横切って一定距離だけ隔たっており、該基板パッチは該第1領域と該第2領域とを電気的に導通させるための導電性媒体を含み、それによりいかなる電源もなしに該基板パッチを通り皮膚表面を横切って流れる電流が生成される、上記デバイス。
- 前記基板パッチが、その上に伝導性接着層がコーティングされた非伝導性基層を含む、請求項7に記載のデバイス。
- 前記基板パッチが、伝導性材料および非伝導性材料の複数の層を含み、前記第1および第2領域が同じ伝導性層と電気的に直接接触している、請求項7に記載のデバイス。
- 前記基板パッチが、該基板パッチを皮膚表面に貼付する前に、非伝導相から伝導相へと、またはあまり伝導性でない相からより伝導性である相へと変換することができる材料を含む、請求項7に記載のデバイス。
