Description
本概念の別の態様では、超音波溶接方法は、電気サーボモータを使用して、第1の加工物に対する直線運動のために載置された超音波溶接スタックを押圧するステップと、既定の初期荷重を第1の加工物に印加するステップと、溶接を開始するステップであって、超音波溶接スタックから第1の加工物へエネルギーを出力するステップを含む、溶接を開始するステップと、を含む。該方法は、少なくとも1つのセンサによって制御変数を感知するステップと、感知した制御変数に対応する信号を制御器に出力するステップと、同時に、超音波溶接スタックから第1の加工物へエネルギーを出力し、感知した制御変数に対応する信号が既定の条件を満たすまで、溶接距離をゼロまたはほぼゼロに維持するステップと、制御された力、速度、または力および速度の組み合わせを、電動リニアアクチュエータによって該第1の加工物に印加して、該既定の条件を満たした後に、該第1の加工物を、該第1の加工物が接合される第2の加工物に対して付勢するステップと、をさらに含む。

1.超音波の機械的振動エネルギー(トランスデューサ20で生じる)を、直接的な物理的接触を通じて熱可塑性加工物(W1およびW2)に伝達し、融解を生じさせる領域内にエネルギーを局所化させる。
3.接合面が融解したときに溶接させるのに必要な圧力を印加する。
Claims (8)
- 超音波溶接システムであって、
直線運動のために、ならびに制御された力、速度、または力および速度の組み合わせを第1の加工物に印加して、前記第1の加工物を、前記第1の加工物が接合される第2の加工物に対して付勢するために載置された、超音波溶接スタックと、
前記超音波溶接スタックに連結された可動要素を備えた電動リニアアクチュエータであって、制御入力に応答して、制御された力、速度、または力および速度で前記可動要素および前記超音波溶接スタックを運動させるように構成された、電動リニアアクチュエータと、
制御入力を、前記電動リニアアクチュエータまたはサーボモータのうちの少なくとも1つに提供して、前記電動リニアアクチュエータの出力を制御するように構成された、制御器と、
少なくとも1つの対応する制御変数としての力を測定し、測定した前記制御変数としての力に対応する信号を前記制御器に出力するように構成された、少なくとも1つのセンサと、
を備え、前記制御器は、前記少なくとも1つのセンサによって出力された前記信号に基づいて、前記電動リニアアクチュエータの可動要素に、前記超音波溶接スタックを通じて、既定の正の初期力を溶接動作の開始時に印加させ、前記少なくとも1つのセンサから出力された前記信号が、測定した制御変数としての力が既定の条件を満たすことを示すまで、前記超音波溶接スタックの直線変位を溶接動作の開始時に既定の初期変位に制限するように構成され、
前記制御器は、前記既定の条件が満たされたことを示す、前記少なくとも1つのセンサによって出力された前記信号に基づいて、前記電動リニアアクチュエータに、デフォルトの溶接プロファイル、または複数の利用可能な溶接プロファイルから選択された溶接プロファイルに従って、前記少なくとも1つのセンサから出力された前記信号が測定した制御変数としての力が既定の条件を満たすことを示した後だけ、前記超音波溶接スタックを運動させるように構成され、
溶接動作の開始の後、既定の条件が満たされるまで超音波溶接スタックの運動が遅らせられることを特徴とする超音波溶接システム。 - 前記センサは、前記超音波溶接スタックのトランスデューサへの電力入力を感知するように構成され、前記既定の条件は、規定の力であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の超音波溶接システム。
- 前記少なくとも1つのセンサは、前記超音波溶接スタックの運動の実際の速度か、または前記超音波溶接スタックによって加工物に及ぼされる実際の力に対応する、制御信号を生成するトランスデューサを備え、前記制御器は、アクチュエータによってスタックに印加された前記力、および前記スタックの前記運動の速度のうちの少なくとも1つを制御するように構成され、前記制御器は、前記制御信号と格納データとを比較するようにプログラムされることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の超音波溶接システム。
- 超音波溶接方法であって、
電気サーボモータを使用して、第1の加工物に対する直線運動のために載置された超音波溶接スタックを押圧するステップと、
既定の初期荷重を前記第1の加工物に印加するステップと、
溶接を開始するステップであって、前記超音波溶接スタックから前記第1の加工物へエネルギーを出力するステップを含む、ステップと、
少なくとも1つのセンサによって制御変数としての力を感知するステップと、
前記感知した制御変数としての力に対応する信号を制御器に出力するステップと、
同時に、前記超音波溶接スタックから前記第1の加工物へエネルギーを出力し、前記感知した制御変数としての力に対応する前記信号が既定の条件を満たすまで、溶接距離をゼロ、またはほぼゼロに維持するステップと、
制御された力、速度、または力および速度の組み合わせを、電動リニアアクチュエータによって前記第1の加工物に印加して、前記既定の条件を満たした後に、前記第1の加工物を、前記第1の加工物が接合される第2の加工物に対して付勢するステップと、
を含み、
溶接を開始するステップの後、既定の条件が満たされるまで超音波溶接スタックの運動が遅らせられることを特徴とする超音波溶接方法。 - 前記既定の条件は、規定の力であることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の超音波溶接方法。
- サーボモータによって生成されたトルクに関する制御信号を生成するステップと、モータのトルク出力を制御するように、前記制御信号に応答して、前記サーボモータに供給される電力を制御するステップと、をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の超音波溶接方法。
- スタックに連結された荷重セルから制御信号を生成するステップであって、前記制御信号は、溶接スタックによって加工物に及ぼされる前記力に対応する、ステップと、前記第1の加工物に印加される前記力を制御するように、前記制御信号に応答して、サーボモータに供給される電力を制御するステップと、をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の超音波溶接方法。
- 少なくとも1つの入力信号を生成して、オンザフライでアクチュエータの前記力または速度を調整するステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の超音波溶接方法。
