Description
The present embodiment relates to a technology of a control device for an internal combustion engine.
エンジンから排出される窒素酸化物(NOX)の排出量を少なくするための技術にEGR(Exhaust Gas Recirculation)がある。 There is EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) as a technique for reducing the emission amount of nitrogen oxide (NO X ) discharged from the engine. In EGR, by returning the exhaust gas to the intake system, the combustion temperature in the combustion chamber can be lowered, combustion of nitrogen in the air-fuel mixture can be prevented, and NO X generation can be suppressed. Hereinafter, the exhaust gas returned to the intake system is referred to as EGR gas, and the amount of EGR gas is referred to as EGR amount.
The EGR has an LPL (Low Pressure Loop) that returns exhaust gas to the intake system by connecting the exhaust passage downstream of the turbocharger exhaust turbine and the intake passage upstream of the turbocharger compressor through a low pressure EGR passage. ) -EGR (low pressure EGR) is known. Hereinafter, the low pressure EGR passage is referred to as an LPL-EGR passage.
In general, in an internal combustion engine having a supercharger such as a turbocharger, intake pulsation occurs when the rotational speed of the compressor is low, such as during deceleration or when stopped. In LPL-EGR, the amount of EGR gas is controlled by the differential pressure between the upstream and downstream of the LPL-EGR passage. Therefore, when the intake pulsation occurs, the exhaust gas flows backward toward the air flow meter, causing the air flow meter to be contaminated by the exhaust gas.
また、エンジン停止時に、吸気通路に設けられているLPLスロットルバルブ(吸気絞り弁)を閉じることにより、LPL−EGR通路内の排気ガスの吸気通路への逆流を防ぐ技術が開示されている(例えば、特許文献2参照) In order to solve such a problem, a technique for forcibly driving a supercharger under conditions where intake pulsation occurs is disclosed (for example, see Patent Document 1). Further, a technique is disclosed in which, when the engine is stopped, an LPL throttle valve (intake throttle valve) provided in the intake passage is closed to prevent the exhaust gas in the LPL-EGR passage from flowing back into the intake passage (for example, , See Patent Document 2)
In the techniques described in
Under such conditions, the exhaust gas may flow backward in the intake passage and the air flow meter may be contaminated or the intake system parts may be corroded, which is insufficient.
Further, the techniques described in
