Description
The present invention relates to a voltage detection device for a secondary battery, and more particularly, to a voltage detection device for a secondary battery that is modularized.
This type of secondary battery is, for example, a lithium-ion battery that is modularized for in-vehicle use, and one module has an electrode bundle in which thin-film positive electrodes, negative electrodes, and separators are alternately stacked in a cell case. The battery is sealed together with an electrolytic solution to form one battery cell, and a plurality of battery cells are bundled.
This lithium ion battery is characterized in that it can obtain a larger voltage than other secondary batteries and has a high energy density. However, if the voltage exceeds the upper or lower limit, it may cause deterioration or failure of the battery. There is.
Therefore, it is necessary to monitor the voltage information of each battery cell. There is known a voltage detection device having a configuration in which an integral holder electrically connected inside a casing is embedded in each negative electrode terminal, and a terminal of a detection sensor is fitted into the holder (Patent Document 1).

Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
First, the first embodiment will be described.
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a module of a lithium ion battery according to the present invention.
In the module 1, an electrode bundle in which thin film-like positive electrodes, negative electrodes, and separators are alternately stacked in layers is put in an insulating material heat-resistant resin (cell case) and hermetically sealed with an electrolytic solution and stored in one metal battery case.

Each of the
Thus, in the module 1, the
Further, the connection between the

In this case, since the potential difference between the electrodes connected by the
That is, the module 1 shown in FIG. 2 is composed of four
Thus, in the first embodiment of the present invention, the
Therefore, useless wiring can be eliminated between the
In addition, since the

By the way, the
Specifically, when two modules 1 are located next to each other, the
As a result, the voltage information input to the

Next, a third embodiment will be described.

As described above, the
