Description
ネットワークアナライザ(Agilent Technologies社(米国カリフォルニア州サンタクララ))をLabVIEW(登録商標)を用いたコンピュータ制御下で使用して、RFIDセンサの複素インピーダンスの測定を実施した。このアナライザを使用して、対象範囲にわたって周波数(典型的には13MHzを中心とし、走査範囲は約10MHz)を走査し、RFIDセンサから複素インピーダンス応答を収集した。2以上のRFIDセンサを一度に測定するために、多チャネル電子信号マルチプレクサをアナライザと共に動作するように構築した。温度制御は、Labjack(登録商標)U12(National Instruments社)を使用して実施した。
この実施例では、測定システム及びデータ解析は、実施例1で説明した通りである。マルチプレクサを使用して、2つのRFID検知デバイスからの応答を一度に測定した。2つのRFID検知デバイスは、水を収容したプラスチック容器に接着テープで取り付けた。この実施例では、NaCl塩を蒸留水に添加することによって、水の導電率が約0.003mS/cmから183mS/cmまで変化した。一方のRFID検知デバイスは、検知デバイスと容器壁部の間に、アルミニウム箔及び保護フェライト膜を有していた。アルミニウム箔の片側を容器の壁部上に配設し、保護フェライト膜をアルミニウム箔の他方の側に配設し、検知膜を保護フェライト膜上に配設した。検知デバイスの応答を読み取るためのピックアップコイルも設けた。
この実施例では、測定システム及びデータ解析は、実施例1で説明した通りである。保護フェライト膜付きRFID検知デバイスを、金属容器の表面上に配置した。この検知デバイスを使用して温度を測定した。図11は、金属表面上で動作するRFID温度検知デバイスの応答のグラフ図である。グラフ178は、変化センサ周波数182を実験時間180の関数として表す。
Claims (14)
- 環境変化及び/又はアナライトを検出するように適合された検知デバイスであって、
無線周波数センサ回路と、
前記無線周波数センサ回路上に配設されたフェライト材料と、
前記フェライト材料上に配設された金属層と、
前記無線周波数センサ回路上に配設された検知膜と
を備えてなる検知デバイス。 - 当該検知デバイスが非金属表面上に配設される、請求項1記載の検知デバイス。
- 前記無線周波数センサ回路がRFID(無線周波数識別)タグである、請求項1又は請求項2記載の検知デバイス。
- 前記無線周波数センサ回路が、アンテナ、コンデンサ、メモリチップ又はそれらの組合せの1以上を備える、請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか1項記載の検知デバイス。
- 前記金属層が前記アナライトに対して選択的多孔性である、請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれか1項記載の検知デバイス。
- 前記金属層が半導体材料を含む、請求項1乃至請求項5のいずれか1項記載の検知デバイス。
- 前記金属層が金属又は共役ポリマーを含む、請求項6記載の検知デバイス。
- 前記検知膜が、化学的センサ、生物学的センサ、物理的センサ又は放射線学的センサを含む、請求項1乃至請求項7のいずれか1項記載の検知デバイス。
- 前記検知膜上に配設された前面金属層、前面フェライト材料、又は前面金属層と前面フェライト材料の両方をさらに備える、請求項1乃至請求項8のいずれか1項記載の検知デバイス。
- 前記フェライト材料が前記無線周波数センサ回路の基板内に分散される、請求項1乃至請求項9のいずれか1項記載の検知デバイス。
- 前記環境変化が、温度変化、圧力変化、導電率変化、化学的濃度変化、放射能放射変化又は生物学的濃度変化のうち1以上を含む、請求項1乃至請求項10のいずれか1項記載の検知デバイス。
- 前記無線周波数センサ回路に隣接して配設された1以上の不活性化層をさらに備える、請求項1乃至請求項11のいずれか1項記載の検知デバイス。
- 前記フェライト材料が、1よりも大きな透磁率を有する強磁性体材料を含む、請求項1乃至請求項12のいずれか1項記載のシステム。
- 環境変化及び/又はアナライトを検出するように適合された検知デバイスであって、
無線周波数センサ回路と、
前記無線周波数センサ回路上に配設されたフェライト材料であって、検知膜として働くように構成されたフェライト材料と、
前記フェライト材料上に配設された金属層と
を備えてなる検知デバイス。
