Description
The present invention relates to a tire sensor unit capable of measuring the surface temperature of a tire, and a tire condition monitoring device including the tire sensor unit.
For example,
The tire sensor unit of
Therefore,
The infrared temperature sensor used in
When the tire sensor unit is manufactured, a correction amount that takes into account the emissivity of the tire that is assumed to be used is set in advance, and when the tire sensor unit is incorporated in a vehicle and used, the preset correction amount is set. It is conceivable to correct the detection value of the infrared temperature sensor by using it. However, there are various types of tires used in the vehicle, and the vehicle owner may replace the tire with another new type. In addition, the relative positional relationship between the tire sensor unit attached to the wheel and the tire is not necessarily constant. Therefore, it is difficult to set an appropriate correction amount in advance when manufacturing the tire sensor unit.
An object of the present invention is to provide a tire sensor unit and a tire condition monitoring device that can appropriately correct a detection value of an infrared temperature sensor.
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a tire sensor unit that is attached to a wheel of a vehicle, and the tire sensor unit is a detection unit that detects a state of a tire mounted on the wheel, A detection unit including a first temperature sensor including an infrared temperature sensor that detects a surface temperature of the tire, a second temperature sensor that detects a temperature in the tire, and a pressure sensor that detects a pressure in the tire; A transmitter that wirelessly transmits a state data signal including data indicating the state of the tire detected by the detector; a pressure detected by the pressure sensor is equal to or greater than a predetermined value; and the first and second temperature sensors When the correction execution condition that the temperature detected by at least one is constant is satisfied, the detected value of the first temperature sensor and the first Based on the detected value of the temperature sensor, and a control unit for determining a correction amount for correcting the detection value of the first temperature sensor. The control unit corrects the detection value of the first temperature sensor using the obtained correction amount, and determines the surface temperature of the tire based on the detection value after the correction.
In the above configuration, a situation in which the temperature detected by at least one of the first and second temperature sensors (the temperature in the tire or the surface temperature of the tire) is constant is that a predetermined time has elapsed since the vehicle stopped traveling. As described later, it can be considered that the temperature in the tire (air temperature) is substantially equal to the temperature of the tire itself. Further, the situation where the pressure detected by the pressure sensor is equal to or higher than a predetermined value is a situation where both the tire sensor unit and the tire are attached to the wheel by setting the predetermined value to an appropriate value, that is, It can be regarded as being in actual use.
In the present invention, when such a correction execution condition is satisfied, a correction amount for correcting the detection value of the first temperature sensor based on the detection value of the first temperature sensor and the detection value of the second temperature sensor. Is required. Therefore, the correction amount for the detection value of the first temperature sensor (infrared temperature sensor) is the second temperature sensor that can detect the temperature in the tire directly and relatively accurately in the actual use state of the tire sensor unit. Using the detected value, it can be obtained appropriately. Thereafter, the detected value of the first temperature sensor is appropriately corrected using the obtained correction amount, and the tire surface temperature can be accurately determined based on the detected value after the correction.
1 aspect of this invention WHEREIN: The said control part has a memory | storage part which memorize | stores the calculated | required correction amount, and the said control part performs the said correction after the pressure detected by the said pressure sensor falls below the said predetermined value. When the condition is satisfied again, a new correction amount is obtained and the correction amount in the storage unit is updated to a new correction amount.
According to the above configuration, for example, when a tire is replaced with another tire, the correction amount is updated to a new correction amount. Therefore, the first temperature sensor is detected using a correction value suitable for the new tire after replacement. The value can be corrected appropriately.
In one aspect of the present invention, the control unit obtains a correction amount according to a deviation between a detection value of the first temperature sensor and a detection value of the second temperature sensor. For example, the control unit obtains a correction amount that makes the tire surface temperature indicated by the detection value of the first temperature sensor equal to the temperature in the tire indicated by the detection value of the second temperature sensor. In this way, the correction amount can be determined appropriately and easily using the detection value of the second temperature sensor that can directly and relatively accurately detect the temperature in the tire.
The tire sensor unit described above can be suitably used as a tire condition monitoring device together with a receiver unit that is installed in a vehicle body of a vehicle and receives a condition data signal transmitted from the tire sensor unit.
Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 shows a
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, each
As shown in FIG. 3, each
The pressure sensor 11 detects the pressure (internal air pressure) in the

FIG. 2 shows how the
As shown in FIG. 1, the
The
The
Hereinafter, a correction amount calculation procedure executed in each
First, in step S1, the
When the tire internal pressure is equal to or higher than the predetermined value, the
In step S3, the
In
In subsequent step S5, the
On the other hand, if the tire internal pressure falls below a predetermined value in step S1, the
And the
The embodiment described above in detail has the following advantages.
(1) The situation in which the temperature inside the tire detected by the
In this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 5, when such a correction execution condition is satisfied, the
Therefore, the correction amount for the detection value of the first temperature sensor (infrared temperature sensor) 12 can be directly detected with relatively high accuracy in the temperature of the
(2) When the correction execution condition is satisfied again after the pressure detected by the pressure sensor 11 falls below a predetermined value, a correction amount is newly obtained, and the correction amount in the RAM 14a is updated to a new correction amount. . For this reason, for example, when the
(3) The
In addition, the said embodiment can also be changed as follows.
In the determination in step S1, the predetermined value may be changed as appropriate. For example, the predetermined value may be a pressure lower than the designated air pressure of the
In the determination in step S2, the determination criterion as to whether or not the tire internal temperature is constant may be changed as appropriate. In other words, the criterion for determining whether or not the temperature inside the tire is constant is such that it can be determined that the temperature inside the tire (air temperature) and the temperature of the
In step S2, instead of determining whether or not the tire internal temperature is constant, it may be determined whether or not the tire surface temperature is constant.
