Claims (3)
- 溶融還元炉内に金属酸化物の鉱石を燃料及び還元材とともに装入し、酸素ガスを供給することにより前記鉱石を加熱・溶融して還元し、前記鉱石中の金属が含有される溶湯を溶製する溶融還元方法において、前記鉱石を加熱し且つ溶融還元するための燃料及び還元材として、固定炭素量が85質量%以上または揮発性成分量が10質量%以下である炭素含有物質と、水素含有物質と、を併用し、炉内に供給される炭素含有物質と水素含有物質とに含有される合計の水素と炭素との原子数の比H/Cが2.0以上20以下の範囲内となるように、炭素含有物質及び水素含有物質の供給量を調整し、前記溶融還元炉から排出される排ガスを湿式除塵装置で処理し、前記溶融還元炉から排出される排ガス中の二酸化炭素を二酸化炭素の分離装置によって分離・除去することなく、前記湿式除塵装置で処理した後の前記排ガスを燃料または還元材として回収することを特徴とする溶融還元方法。
- 湿式除塵装置で処理した後の排ガスの少なくとも一部を燃料及び還元材として前記溶融還元炉に供給することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の溶融還元方法。
- 前記鉱石を、前記溶融還元炉から排出される排ガスを用いて予め予熱し且つ予備還元することを特徴とする、請求項1または請求項2に記載の溶融還元方法。
