Description
The present invention relates to a catalyst warm-up device and a catalyst warm-up system including the catalyst warm-up device.
As a type of catalyst warm-up device, the one shown in Patent Document 1 is known. As shown in FIG. 3 of Patent Document 1, the catalyst warm-up device is provided in the middle of an exhaust pipe (first exhaust pipe) through which exhaust gas discharged from an engine (combustion apparatus) flows. A catalyst ceramic part 14 (first catalyst part) made of a catalyst for purifying gas, and a heat storage material which is provided in contact with the catalyst ceramic part 14 (first catalyst part) and generates heat by chemically reacting with water (liquid) And a chemical reaction heat storage device 15 (heat storage device) filled with 17 (heat storage material). This catalyst warm-up device causes a reversible reaction after warming-up with a water conduit 19 for supplying water 18 to generate heat in the heat storage material 17 when cold, and releases water as
According to such a configuration, it is necessary to separately provide a water supply device (including a water tank and a pump) for supplying water, the catalyst warm-up device itself becomes large, and the catalyst warm-up system also becomes large. Turn into. In addition, it is necessary to replenish water, and the convenience deteriorates.
For such a problem, the one disclosed in Patent Document 2 is known. As shown in FIG. 1 of Patent Document 2, the chemical heat storage system for a vehicle uses engine heat (exhaust gas heat) as vehicle waste heat, and a high temperature reaction material 19 that performs a chemical heat storage reaction using engine heat as reaction heat. Is stored in the reactor 8. The reactor 8 communicates with the reactor 8 via the communication passage 10, and when the reactor 8 is heated by the engine heat, when the endothermic reaction occurs in the high temperature reaction material 19 and the gas medium is released, the reactor 8 is caused by the pressure difference. And a condenser 9 for condensing the gas medium that has moved from. In addition, when the third valve 6 is opened at the time of heat dissipation using the stored heat, the reactor 8 is heated at a high temperature by an exothermic reaction between the gas medium moved from the condenser 9 due to the pressure difference and the reactant of the high temperature reactant 19. Is supposed to generate.
If the technology for communicating the reactor 8 and the condenser 9 described in Patent Document 2 through the communication path 10 provided with the third valve 6 is applied to the catalyst warm-up device described in Patent Document 1, Although convenience is improved, since the third valve exists, there is a demand for further downsizing of the catalyst warm-up device itself and further downsizing of the catalyst warm-up system. In Patent Document 2, when heat is radiated in the reactor 8, the gas medium (water vapor) moves from the condenser 9 to the reactor 8 due to a pressure difference caused by opening the third valve 6. The amount of water vapor supplied may be insufficient. In this case, there was a possibility that the heat radiation in the reactor 8 would not be sufficiently high.
The present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems. In the catalyst warm-up device and the catalyst warm-up system, the heat storage device maintains a sufficiently high heat dissipation, and the device itself and thus the entire system is downsized. With the goal.

The return channel is disposed inside the evaporative condenser.
A structural feature of the invention according to claim 4 is that, in any one of claims 1 to 3, the communication hole is provided in an upstream portion related to the exhaust gas of the inner cylinder.
According to a fifth aspect of the present invention, in any one of the first to fourth aspects, the evaporative condensing device surrounds an outer cylinder disposed so that the axial direction is along the horizontal direction. The first water storage section that is disposed coaxially and is provided in the upper part of the evaporative condensation apparatus and stores liquid, the second water storage section that is provided in the inner side part of the evaporative condensation apparatus and stores liquid, and the evaporative condensation And a third water storage section that is provided at the inner bottom of the apparatus and stores liquid.
According to a sixth aspect of the present invention, the evaporative condensing device according to the fifth aspect of the present invention includes an inner peripheral wall that contacts the outer cylinder, an inner peripheral wall, and an outer peripheral wall disposed with a space therebetween. The first water reservoir is composed of at least a groove formed by a rib interposed between the inner peripheral wall and the outer peripheral wall, and the second water reservoir is interposed between the inner peripheral wall and the outer peripheral wall and is The third water storage part is constituted by a groove formed by a rib interposed between the inner peripheral wall and the outer peripheral wall.
A structural feature of the invention according to claim 7 is that the catalyst warm-up device according to any one of claims 1 to 6 and the catalyst warm-up device provided in parallel with the first exhaust pipe are bypassed. And a second catalyst comprising a catalyst for purifying the exhaust gas provided in the first exhaust pipe downstream of the exhaust gas flow from the confluence of the first exhaust pipe and the second exhaust pipe A part.
In the invention according to claim 1 configured as described above, the inner cylinder is provided in communication with the middle of the first exhaust pipe, and is provided with a first catalyst part and a heat storage device (in contact with the first catalyst part). The heat storage material which is provided and generates heat by chemically reacting with the liquid is housed inside. The outer cylinder includes an outer space that is coaxially disposed to cover the inner cylinder, is formed along the axial direction with the inner cylinder, is connected to the first exhaust pipe at one end, and is closed at the other end. Yes. The inner space and the outer space formed in the inner cylinder communicate with each other through a communication hole. The evaporative condensing device is provided in contact with the outer cylinder and is hermetically communicated with the heat storage device, and is vaporized by heating the liquid inside and supplied to the heat storage device, while the gas supplied from the heated heat storage device Is condensed to produce liquid and stored inside. When the heat storage device dissipates heat, the exhaust gas flows into the outer space without passing through the inner space, heats the evaporative condensing device, and then flows into the inner space through the communication hole so that the first catalyst unit and the heat storage device are On the other hand, when the heat is stored in the heat storage device, the exhaust gas flows into the inner space and flows out through the first catalyst unit and the heat storage device.
Therefore, when warming up the first catalyst unit, the relatively low temperature exhaust gas from the combustion device flows into the outer space without passing through the inner space, heats the evaporative condensing device, and heats the liquid inside the evaporative condensing device. Thus, it is evaporated and supplied to the heat storage device, and the heat storage material and the liquid react chemically to generate heat and dissipate heat. The heat causes the first catalyst portion that contacts the heat storage device to be heated. The exhaust gas after the heat exchange by the evaporative condensing device flows into the inner space through the communication hole, is heated by the first catalyst portion and the heat storage device, and flows out.
On the other hand, after the first catalyst part is warmed up, the relatively high temperature exhaust gas from the combustion device flows into the inner space and passes through the first catalyst part and the heat storage device, thereby chemically reacting with the liquid. The heat storage material stores a heat by causing a chemical reaction (endothermic reaction) in which the liquid is gasified and separated by the heat of the exhaust gas. At this time, the gas supplied from the heat storage device to the evaporation condensing device is condensed into a liquid and stored in the evaporation condensing device.
In this way, when heat is dissipated by the heat storage device, the gas supplied to the heat storage device is sufficiently secured by heating the evaporation condensing device using the relatively low temperature exhaust gas from the combustion device and evaporating the liquid inside. can do. Therefore, heat generation at the heat storage device, that is, heat dissipation can be set to a sufficiently high temperature, and heat dissipation at a sufficiently high temperature can be maintained by the heat storage device.
Further, since the inner cylinder, the outer cylinder, and the evaporative condensing device can be coaxially arranged in order from the inside to the outside on the outside of the first catalyst unit and the heat storage device, the catalyst warm-up device itself can be downsized. Therefore, in the catalyst warm-up device, the device itself can be reduced in size while maintaining sufficiently high heat dissipation in the heat storage device.
In the invention which concerns on Claim 2 comprised as mentioned above, in Claim 1, the 1st catalyst part and the heat storage apparatus are arrange | positioned inside the evaporation condensation apparatus. According to this, since the axial length of the catalyst warm-up device can be further shortened, the device itself can be further downsized.
In the invention according to claim 3 configured as described above, in claim 1 or claim 2, the outer space is provided with an inlet for introducing the exhaust gas and a folded flow path for leading the exhaust gas from the communication hole. The return channel is disposed inside the evaporative condenser. According to this, since it is possible to secure a longer exhaust gas flow path length, it is possible to maintain high heat exchange efficiency of the exhaust gas.
In the invention according to Claim 4 configured as described above, in any one of Claims 1 to 3, the communication hole is provided in an upstream portion related to the exhaust gas of the inner cylinder. According to this, the exhaust gas after the heat exchange with the evaporative condenser can flow into the inner cylinder from the upstream side of the first catalyst portion through the communication hole, and the exhaust gas can be reliably purified. it can.
In the invention according to claim 5 configured as described above, in any one of claims 1 to 4, the evaporative condensing device includes an outer cylinder disposed such that the axial direction is along the horizontal direction. A first water storage section that is coaxially disposed so as to surround and is provided in an upper part of the evaporative condensation apparatus and stores liquid, a second water storage section that is provided in an inner side of the evaporative condensation apparatus and stores liquid, and the evaporation And a third water storage section that is provided at the inner bottom of the condensing device and stores liquid. According to this, when the first catalyst part is warmed up, the gas supplied from the heat storage device to the evaporative condensing device is condensed into a liquid and stored in the evaporative condensing device. Water can be stored not only at the bottom of the interior but also at the interior top and interior sides. Therefore, when the heat is then radiated by the heat storage device, the liquid stored in the upper portion, the side portion, and the bottom can be efficiently and quickly evaporated, and the heat storage device can be radiated efficiently and quickly.
In the invention according to claim 6 configured as described above, in claim 5, the evaporative condensing device is provided with an inner peripheral wall that contacts the outer cylinder, an inner peripheral wall, and an outer peripheral wall disposed with a space therebetween. The first water reservoir is composed of at least a groove formed between the inner peripheral wall and the outer peripheral wall, and the second water reservoir is interposed between the inner peripheral wall and the outer peripheral wall. The third water reservoir is formed by a groove formed by a rib interposed between the inner peripheral wall and the outer peripheral wall. According to this, when the heat of the exhaust gas transmitted from the outer cylinder to the inner peripheral wall is transmitted to the outer peripheral wall via the ribs and the bowl-shaped member and radiated by the heat storage device, the heat is exhausted to the upper part, the side part and the bottom part. The stored liquid can be evaporated more efficiently and quickly.
In the invention concerning Claim 7 comprised as mentioned above, the catalyst warm-up apparatus as described in any one of Claim 1 thru | or 6 and the catalyst warm-up apparatus provided in parallel with the 1st exhaust pipe are equipped. A second exhaust pipe that bypasses and a second exhaust pipe that is provided in the first exhaust pipe downstream of the exhaust gas flow from the confluence of the first exhaust pipe and the second exhaust pipe and that is configured to purify the exhaust gas. And a catalyst part. According to this, when warming up the second catalyst unit, first, the relatively low temperature exhaust gas from the combustion device flows into the outer space without passing through the inner space of the catalyst warming device, and the evaporation condensing device is The liquid inside the evaporative condenser is heated and evaporated to be supplied to the heat storage device, and the heat storage material and the liquid chemically react to generate heat to dissipate heat. The heat causes the first catalyst portion that contacts the heat storage device to be heated. When the first catalyst part is heated and reaches the activation temperature range, the first catalyst part is further heated by the catalytic reaction. Therefore, the exhaust gas after heat exchange by the evaporative condenser flows into the inner space through the communication hole, is heated and flows out by the first catalyst unit and the heat storage device, and then reaches the second catalyst unit to be heated. To do. After that, when the temperature of the second catalyst part becomes the activation temperature range, the exhaust gas from the combustion device is circulated to the second catalyst part via the second exhaust pipe, and the second catalyst part is caused by the catalytic reaction. Heated. Therefore, compared with a system in which the second catalyst unit is larger than the first catalyst unit and the second catalyst unit is directly heated by the heat storage device, the heat storage device can be made smaller and the catalyst warm-up can be reduced. The machine itself and thus the catalyst warm-up system can be reduced in size.

The

As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the
The
As shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, the
A
As shown in FIGS. 3, 5, and 6, the
In addition, the
The

The communication hole 21a2 is provided in the upstream portion of the
The outer space R2 includes a folded

The
Specifically, as shown in FIG. 7, the
The
The
The 2nd
The
The
Next, the operation of the catalyst warm-up
First, heat dissipation will be described with reference to FIG. When the
At this time, the relatively low temperature exhaust gas from the
On the other hand, the exhaust gas after heat exchange with the
Thus, the catalyst of the
Thereafter, when the temperature of the
Next, heat storage will be described with reference to FIG. This heat storage is performed when the
Thus, when the exhaust gas passes through the
The “first exhaust pipe” recited in the claims includes a
As is clear from the above description, in the catalyst warm-up device and the catalyst warm-up system according to the present embodiment, the
Therefore, when warming up the
On the other hand, after the
As described above, when the
Further, since the
Further, the
In addition, the outer space R2 is provided with an
Further, the
Further, the
The
The catalyst warm-up system includes a catalyst warm-up
