(1)ドア枠とテーパ状の開閉ドアが一対構造であるため、マンションやコンクリート建築物の新築用の耐震ドアとして限定され、既存のマンションやコンクリート集合住宅における耐震ドアの改造工事においては、高額な工事費用と多くの工事日程を必要とするといった問題。
(2)地震等の外部応力よる局部変形を耐震ドアの施錠部に受けた場合、施錠の歪みによって開閉ドアが開閉しない可能性があるといった問題。
(3)ドア枠の底面下部テーパ部の勾配段差により、バリアフリー化が図れないといった問題。
(4)開閉ドア周辺部、特に床面がテーパ状の尖端形状を有しているため、安全性、使い易さ、美観性が劣るといった問題。
(5)ドア枠ならびに開閉ドアのテーパ部に連なる平坦部が、地震等の外部応力によって面内変形若しくは局部変形を受けた場合、ドア枠と開閉ドアが咬み合って開閉しない可能性があるといった問題。
